About DoggySnaps

DoggySnaps is owned and run by the UK-based registered charity, Dogs Trust.  This amazing charity cares for over 14,000 stray and abandoned dogs a year through its network of 17 re-homing centres.  At Dogs Trust no healthy dog is ever destroyed and they campaign tirelessly to ensure a better future for dogs everywhere.

As a thank you to all you dog lovers out there, Dogs Trust came up with a simple and fun way to upload, store and share your dog photos and called it DoggySnaps.

They've done all the hard work for you, uploading your pictures couldn't be easier.  You will be given your own 'kennel' to store your photos in and you can browse through our entire photo album whenever you like.

If you are looking for something specific we have a great search facility.  You want to see pictures of Labradors at the beach? (I know I do)  Click on advanced search in the top right hand corner of the home page, type 'Labrador' in the breed box, 'beach' in the tag box -  hey presto - Labradors at the beach.

This highlights the need for good tagging. Use as many tags as you can to describe each photo you upload. This makes it easy for everyone to find just what they are looking for.

Check out our charts and see if you've got the top dog that week.  If you find a photo that makes you smile, laugh out loud or say 'aahhhh', send that dog a treat and tell the owner why you liked it. 

Looking for a bit of advice or a doggy chat? Our forum will put you in touch with other dog owners who have plenty of experiences to share. Dogs Trust also have resident experts should you ever need a second opinion.
