The Dog Show Rules

Entry

DoggySnaps.com will run a monthly dog show involving photos and / or videos with up to ten categories in each.

Only registered members can enter the competition.

Each DOG can enter up to three categories; you can use the same or different photos / video for each category. If a kennel has several dog profiles, then more than one dog from that kennel can be entered in a single category, although each dog will be considered a separate entry and charged as such.

Each competition, whether video or photo led, will have a maximum of 25 entrants.

Only a photo or video of a dog that has a profile on DoggySnaps can be entered.

Photos or videos must belong to the owner of the kennel in which they are displayed. If you have made a genuine error, please contact editor@doggysnaps.com.

Payment

A minimum donation of £1 will be requested for each entry (up to three per DOG).

Payments are to Dogs Trust and are via credit or debit card only, we cannot accept offline payment.

If your payment fails you will be informed via Private Message (PM) and email. If correct details are not received your entry will be removed.

Inappropriate photos or videos will be removed, and no refund of entry fee will be made in this case.

All monies are donated to Dogs Trust and will go towards helping the dogs in our care.

Voting

Voting is open to all members and non members alike.

Each person can only vote once in each category per day; a day is counted as 24 hours from your last vote, so you can vote again every 24 hours.

The Winners

1st 2nd and 3rd in each category as voted by the public will be announced at the end of the competition. In the event of a tie, the Editor’s decision is final.

An ‘Editor’s Choice’ for each category will also be revealed; this is chosen by DoggySnaps staff.

There will also be an overall winner of the month which will be the dog with the most votes overall for that month.

All winners will be displayed in the ‘Winners Archive’. All winners will also receive a special icon that is displayed on the dogs profile. In some cases an offline prize or certificate will also be presented.
