Hi Buddy... Levi's still on boiled minced beef and rice! OOur vet says to leave her on it another week or so to make sure her tummy's well settled, then we have to start trying foods one at a time for 4days each or so to see if she tolerates them ok. I'm just happy she's doing so well really, I don't mind the daily cooking. Only thing is if I were going on holidays, it might get awkward. No chance of that untill next Summer though as I'm well and truly broke! (-: Been one of those years, money-wise. Went back to work today... oh the pain of that!!! At least tomorrow's Friday! Love to Buddy... and an extra meaty bone to gnaw on..
Love from Marie, Luke and Levi xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Luke reached his full height at 12 to 13 months but he filled out some after that. He's a fine big fella now i can tell you. I cant lift him! Levi's growing fast alright, she's had a type of food intolerance since i got her and she's been on boiled minced beef and rice the last two weeks so her tummy has settled, she's not had diarrhoea since thankfully. all puppy foods seem to be chicken based so I'm not sure what our next step will be, the vet will advise me on Saturday hopefully! She's such a cheeky thing, and so funny. She would eat all day if allowed!

Hiyah! Yes my Florence is a crazy one. Sometimes she just runs up and down the hallway for about ten minutes and stops for a breather before she's off again! We had her spayed as soon as we could when she was 6months old, because of all the cancers that they can get if you leave them too long. What is wrong with Buddy's eye? Poor little man. I'll have to leave him a chewy chew to cheer him up! He'll be fine after his neutering, I'm sure. He'll just feel sorry for himself for a while...oh, and make sure that you feel bad for putting him through it too! They're good at that! Toys destroyed today = Tennis ball :)

Hi Buddy, thanks for callin. We're gettin on better now. I dont let her near MY BED tho. mom's after buyin her a house of her own. My house is big but i dont wanna share cos she torments me when i eanna relax, Mom says its fine, she says who i let in my house is my choice, And Buddy, dont you believe it that boys are a bigger handful than girls! this one's wired to the moon, Mom says i was a pure angel in comparison and that i deserve a gold medal!! (-: I do miss Levi when she's not out playing tho so i suppose, i'll get to like her more after a while. She does seem to like me. Anyway Buddy, gotta go. Hope you're having fun and do enjoy the homemade burger i left for you.
Love from Luke xx

Hiyah! Yes, Basset boys are supposed to be more tricky than girls, that's why we chose a girly. Although to be honest she's a right handful herself! She is an attention seeker, and she quite often comes and bites my foot or tries to jump on my lap if I'm sat on the computer. I just try to ignore her and then she goes and gets a chew or a toy to occupy herself with. I've been on the phone before and I can see her looking at me, and when I look at her she starts wagging her tail like mad and does this little growl, as if to say "I'm here come and play". She is a monkey. They are very funny though, aren't they! I wouldn't be without my special little bear now! I'm leaving a yummy piece of chicken to bribe Buddy into being a good boy today!! Lots of Love Florence XXX (LickLickLick)

Hi Buddy! I think you might be right about Bassets being notorious play biters, all the owners of Bassets we seem to meet say the same. But then I guess pups will be pups no matter what! I heard about your piddle problems, but you are still only 4 months old. Florence took quite a while to get the hang of it. Now she is really good and whinges when she wants to go outside so we know when she needs the toilet. We are very vigilant though and at first kept putting her out constantly an when she went we would say "go wee wees" and now she does it on command! I know that Basset boys are harder to house train than girls, but you will get there I promise! :)
