Hi Ferne! Haven't heard from you in a while, hope everything's still ok. I was supposed to show Olivia-Rose on Sunday in an open show, but she's gone and hurt paw, now she keeps licking it so it's not healing. I'm taking her to the vet tonight. Her next show is an open one on the 18th May, I hope she's OK by then. Let me know what you've been up to in the show ring. Hope to hear from you soon. René. :-)

Hi Ferne!! Sorry I took so long to respond, back at work today after the Easter weekend. When you ask how many babies I have, I'm assuming you mean the furry kind. I only have the 2 which are shown in my kennel, Sweet-Pea & Olivia-Rose. (non of the human kind) My mother-inlaw has 5 daxies!!!! (3 of which are champions, one of which is the father of Olivia-Rose) Good luck with your show, I'm sure you'll do well!!! Hi Ferne! I finally stacked her last night!!! (Without a treat. Maybe that was the problem, like I said before, she seems to be more interested in the treats than in the lesson.) It was only for maybe 5sec, but she's got the idea. Now it's up to me to practice more often! She's taking part in the "KUSA (Kennel Union of Southern Africa) Championship Show" in Cape Town on the 31st May. 2 weeks later she has another away championship show in Oudtshoorn. Hi Ferne! Got your msg, thanx! I have tried using treats, she seems to be more interested in the treat than what I'm trying to teach her! Quite frustrating!! I guess I'll just have to work a little harder and more often with her. I'm really running out of time now, at 6 months I should be able to stack her nicely. At the end of May she has her 1st championship show, very exciting!! Thank you for responding so quickly, I will let you know how I progress with little Olivia-Rose! Best of luck, René. :-)

Hi Ferne! My name is René and I'm from South Africa. I have a 5 month old mini dax which I'm showing. Just wondered if you had any tips for me. I'm struggling to stack her, she just does not want to keep her legs back. Any advice/tips would really be appreciated! Keep up the good work!
