hello basie, thought i would pop over and see how you are. when mum and dad went on holiday. my human brother fed cassie and me and he must like us a lot because he left the bag of dog food open for us! well, when he came back i had eaten about 3 kg of food. unfortunately, what went in had to come out, and it has been coming out for about 2 weeks now! they told mum i left 27 little packages on the carpet one day!! they know it wasnt cassie coz she is not like me when it comes to food. i have been to the vets, and have only been allowed chicken and rice ever since. i even left some packages for my other human brother on friday which was his wedding day. i thought it was a nice surprise for him as he got up first..mum and dad hide all the food from me now, even the layers pellets which i am quite partial to. bit unfair dont you think. love from abbie xx

Hi Basie!! How you doin buddy?? Sorry i didn't get chance to come by yesterday and thank you for the treat you sooooo kindly left me. Mum had to go to a place called the dentist and didn't feel too good when she came back, so i just laid on the sofa with her to keep her company. I've been in the garden nearly all day as its been lovely, hope you had a good day too! Mum got some big juicy marrowbones from the butcher today and she got an extra one for you. HI Basie-stopped by to leave a post birthday treat for you and your mum, and to let you know our news. We are getting another member of the family next week-if you are quick, you will find him on the Dogs Trust website, at Roden. His name is Norbert and he is a ten year old staffy cross. We have been to meet him this morning and even though he is a bit smaller than we are used to, we all got on very well. Mum and Dad are trying to sort out how he will get onto the sofa as he is a bit small and old to make the jump like we do-anyone for a doggy stepladder? Lots of love from Elvis and Murphyxx

Hey Basie thanks for our treats. My mum called me Bodecia cos I am a queen (or so she keeps telling me) & Bodecia was the queen of the Icinea, although I believe she was quite a ferocious fighter where as I am a big cuddly softee lol! xxxxxx PS my mum is originally from South Yorkshire (Doncaster).
