Hi gang *hugs* Dinky and Frankie, they are mean, mean boys aren't they!! they should be looking after me, not leaving me out boo hoo, mummy loves me so thats all that matters, (but I know Dinky and Frankie love me too really) :) Frankie is off to the vets at 6pm, he's gone right off his food again, so vet wants to have a look at him, Dinky has been doing his usual destuffing, and me and Frankie had a good bark at the window cleaner, who happens to be Daddys brother Mike, we didnt like him coming into "our" garden and we told him off teehee love you, Jinx, and the mean boys Dinky and Frankie xxxxxxxx

hi hun! well.....basically, you can use a colour to represent something about your business, a good strong brand image. I would only ever use one colour that will look good in print, go with both whote and black and can be flexible enough to use on all your paper work, van, clothing etc etc. personally, i really like a sort of teal colour but if your van is black, it would be best to use black as your base colour and work around black to find your main colour. Def avoid stark contrasts like black and red, unless you want it to look like satans dog care! who is the business aimed at? Client base...it helps to choose colours that will appeal to your market....eg, if your client base is predominantly female, think about pink/fuscia colours, its amazing how much people can be suckers for good marketing and brand identity(i am one of these suckers myself). or, if you want something more generalised, try going for something more contemporary like a light gray or silver, then it appeals to everyone and is a scheme that looks more elegant and is super easy to use. because its based on dogs...you could try using a brown, i know it sounds odd having black and brown...but it would look earthy (animal like) and also they are very strong "DOG" colours, using the right shade of brown could create quite an impact and look very "doggy" i will have a surf around the net today and find some links to some examples for you. in general, for design, you will have a base coour (yours being black) a dominant colour (which ever you choose) and then a third for things like text and other parts of design on your site (this colour in general is best if a lighter shade tha your dominant colour). I'll get back to you with some links for colour scheme examples, hope you had a great weelend! speak soon! xxx
