Hi Vicki, thanks its alful to loose any pet but when they're young its just so hard. Molly was usually sick the day before a fit, a bit "off" and not herself. We used to find that if she got stressed this could also bring them on. She was fine with my mum's other dog and Ben but they had problems with a neighbours dog getting into the garden and this really upset her and she would have a fit in the days after. It's really difficult and you have to balance the joys of life with trying to protect them a bit and try to limit their stress. She was considerably better once on Burns and we had to be strict to ensure she didn't eat any "". If you notice signs, keep a close eye on Jasper as Molly used to sneak off to be by herself when a fit was imminent and sometimes got herself into a less than ideal place (burn at the back of mum's garden!). Also keep yourself safe, as Molly who was a gentle wee soul who wouldn't harm a fly usually could become quite agressive when actually fitting, we found staying close and talking to her gently seemed to reassure her.
