Hello Harvey and welcome to a muggy and slightly moist Monday…it is humid here…We first got our mum up at 04:00 this morning as Parks was a little bit sick…we then both had to be chucked into the garden for a few minutes to make sure we didn’t make any other sorts of mess at that time of the morning…we then both decided at 07:08 mum had had far too much sleep therefore it was time for our breakfast so we woke her up again by having an early morning bed wrestle…(first of a kind with mum still actually in the bed…)…we have supervised her showering process this morning and we’re glad to note she has washed behind her ears…We have been out for a walk to the fields and the cows are in a subdued mood this morning all laying under the big tree in the middle of the first field…We all got wet under bellies as the grass is so long and it has obviously rained over night…Mum has stripped the bed and the duvet and other bits are now whirling around in the washing machine…Mum is going to contemplate a bit of wrestling later what with trying to put clean duvet cover on…however, the spare bed is already made and she may just sleep in there until Dad comes home on Friday so she doesn’t do herself an unnecessary mischief…(what would constitute a necessary mischief???) We have spent a few minutes watching all the kids going back to school this morning from the comfort of our footstool by the front window and we’re now waiting to se if the postman will visit us today…the lady on the radio says it’s meant to get sunnier as the day progresses so we’re hopeful that we’ll be in the garden sunbathing later whilst mum continues with her book (she thinks she’ll finish it today…) Anyway, Dad called yesterday to say he and his human son are at their wits end as it has been raining on the Isle of Man since Saturday and the first bike races were cancelled…they have been wandering around the island with all the other saddened bikers looking for things to do that didn’t involve alcohol as he said that they had over indulged whilst watching the England Vs Brazil match on Friday…we wonder if he’ll call again today…Well, we hope you have a good day and we have left you a treat of pasta with pesto, broccoli and cheddar cheese…still one of mum’s favourites…catch you later…Love Parks & Boz

Hello Harvey…well, yesterday, as dad was up bright and early to go fishing we all went out for a n early morning walk into the fields and the grass was so wet with dew, that when we got back home it looked like we’d been swimming! We spent the whole day following mum around and entertaining her with our absolutely perfected wrestling skills…Mum has decided NOT to take us to Cornwall this weekend, we’re obviously upset, but we know she didn’t make the decision lightly, but she didn’t want to make her back any worse than it is…she has promised to take us there another time…with dad too! One of mum’s friends is coming round to visit mum today and she is going to make him a vegetarian lasagne as he has recently come out of the vegetarian closet…he’ll be coming round on his motorbike as he wants dad to help him fix something that fell off when he dropped the motorbike…if there’s an accident waiting to happen he’ll have it…mum loves his tales of mishaps! Anyway. Pretty cloudy here at the moment…we hope the sun will come out to play today…as that way, the back door will be left open for us to come and go as we please…We have left you a treat of salmon steak with a little lemon juice, a couple of mum’s fried potatoes and a vegetable and garlic mix that she threw together yesterday…very nice it was too! Hope you have a lovely bank holiday weekend…Love Parks & Boz

Hello Harvey…We hope you are well! Well, what a scorcher yesterday was! We didn’t go in to the fields for our walk until the evening when it had cooled down…we expect the same treatment again today…we have been up yet again since just before 0600 again, yesterday was due to us wanting to go out for an early morning piddle, but this morning it’s mum’s fault as her back is extra sore after her physio session yesterday (her therapist did warn her…)…Dad is going fishing today with some of his friends from work to a canal…he’s really excited as he hasn’t been fishing since his trip to USA in April…mum is going to take it easy in the garden today…Mum’s friends came round last night and we played loads with their 13 year old son…he chased us round the garden and then we waited for him to drop food from the dinner table (we sat out ion the patio as it was so warm…)…to no avail though…he’s a growing lad and needed every single crumb!!! (we were not impressed!) Still no news on nanny’s rescue dog …Well, we have left you a chicken fajita with salad, followed by a slice of lemon torte…Love Parks & Boz

Hello Harvey...the wanderer returns..we did miss you...on our kennel we now have Thaddeus who was our mum's pre us GSD...he was fantastic...also, we have Kirby, who is our mum and dad's friends in USA dog...mum & dad went to visit them all in April whilst the lovely Victoria came and looked after us...mum has damaged her back again so she's at home right now, but all being wel, we're hopefully going to Cornwall in a couple of weeks time...in August we're off to Scotland...we love to travel that's for sure! So, apart from hitting the grand age of one, what else have you been up to??? Love Parks & Boz
