Hi Holly, how are you? SHOCK HORROR SENSATIONAL NEWS........ the doggies are all very well but one of them (GUESS WHO?) is in David’s bad books. Did I ever tell you that Purdey can do the “backstroke”...seemingly for a laugh she will travel around in the house on her back, pushing herself along with her hind legs. She really is a clown. Anyway, after being NAMED and SHAMED I thought that she would turn over a new leaf on the poo subject. Well she sort of did......turn over a new leaf........she actually rolled on a leaf yesterday..........unfortunately the leaf was underneath a pile of very fresh deer poo. My heart sank when, having rolled, she then decided to do the “backstroke” on the poo too. And then this person came along and said...”she is covered in it” (I think that was the word).....”thank you” said I. GRRRRRRRRRRR. She has now decided to be a guard dog although her kennel picture is causing me some concern on that subject too. Anyway, today we are sending over a royal wave from the princess, sweet dreams from dobes and, you guessed it, a leaf from Purdey. Have fun x. PS I would handle the leaf with care!

Hi Holly, some people say that you shouldn’t NAME and SHAME unpleasant behaviour on DoggySnaps. Well, I am going to make an exception to the rule because, quite frankly, enough is enough........The NAME is.....PURDEY...............THE SHAME is.....FOX POO. Now I guess that some people probably think I exaggerate Purdey’s predilection for recycled animal dinners.....well, this time the gorgeous little sod has got her comeuppance because I took a photograph of her in her fox poo finery and I have put it in her kennel for all her friends and supporters to see. Serves her right. The clean and fragrant ones, Princessliness Sarika and His Baldiness, are dropping off virtual photos of themselves.....”unpooed” they said somewhat smugly! Have fun x

we have come with our appologies again for not visiting for so long we have problems with our internet its still very slow!! and we didnt know mum could speak in so many languages!!well we have been really good we have even learned how to work the tv remote mind you some of the buttons dont work we did try to clean them but not sure it helped!as some of the buttons fell off!and we done mums dusting for her well sort of we couldnt decide who was doing it first so the feather duster just sort of fell to pieces a bit like our toys really!!as its gypsy's 1st birthday today we have brought you in some spider and tennis ball cake with a huge bag of bonios for later we hope to get our internet sorted soon as mum said something about going with someone else!!see you soon luv and woofs rosie,gypsy&angel sasha xxxxxxxx

HI TED THE ED is back Well i have to start and tell you one of our dear friends is very poorly DUDLEY [ snowflake ] his mum rang us last night to tell us he had a massive fit and he lost the use of his back legs well he is at the vets and they are very worried he may have Brain damage his mum has got to phone at 3pm today to see how he is as you can imagine poor Jan is very upset she said she will let us know how things go. so as soon as i hear anything i will put a message on the front of my page so PLEASE go to Dudleys kennel and leave your Best Wishes to Dudley Jan and the family . Now do you remember RUTH we left tributes at [ scotty dog ] kennel well Bonnies mum printed the messages we sent and put them in a card for Alf the old man who was her owner and he was so over whelmed with your kindness and wants to thankyou all for your kind thoughts. so you see a few minits of your time sending a message makes such a difference to people knowing we DO care so thankyou all Well the barbecue yesterday was good i enjoyed myself Beau the beagle kept banging me on the head with his BIG paws but i soon put him in his place dad was quite soberish and today hes gone to play golf mums made a birthday cake for him we cant put candles on it as there is not enough room hahahahahaha well 71 is alot so im sending you a slice over see you tomorrow love TEDDY xxxxxxxx

oh dear we are so behind with our treats blame mr richard branson!!got our letter ready to send to him and hope he knows that because of his terrible internet service we have missed out visiting all our friends!!well we have been good girls as usual its mum that has been naughty he,he, silly sausage forgot she had the car yesterday when she was out shopping and came back in a taxi!!only for dad to go a funny colour and wonder where the car was???needless to say dad had to go in the taxi to get the car back only thing was it was parked in asda car park(have you ever seen the size of asda car park ?he,he,)well mum said at least dad got some excercise he,he,though i dont think dad was happy even when mum saw the funny side he,he,but he must have forgiven her as he made her breakfast in bed,managed to grab some egg and toast for you and a huge bonio just for being our best friend and gypsy has brought you in a rather chewed slipper not her fault it was left lying on the floor!see you soon luv and woofs xxx*rosie,gypsy,&angel sasha*xxx

Hi Holly, this is a quick visit before we go walkies as the weather is changing, blast. Just when I was getting used to dry and clean (the dogs) and a suntan (mine). So it is away with the suntan lotion (mine) and out again with the wellies (mine) and the towels and wash basin (dogs). Typical. To cheer myself up I made another vodka and orange trifle (hic!) because it went (hic) down very well (hic) before and the girls and dobes are dropping off some of that as well as a tennis ball (from Sarika), an empty bird's egg (from Purdey) and some zzzzzzs (from Max). Have fun x

hi holly luv the pic, ,well mum has managed to catch up on most of our friends think she still has over 400 kennels to go he,he,well i(rosie)have a new nickname not sure why but dad calls me the human dustbin the cheek as if!!mind you i did get my head stuck inside the treasure chest though i wasnt bothering as there was lots of nice tasty morsels to be found even managed once mum pulled me out to run away with a youghurt pot!just making sure mum keeeps fit,gypsy on the other hand her new nickname is gypsyroo the kangaroo as mum says shes like a kangaroo jumps and skips everywhere but dont be fooled by those cute ears she really is a devil in disguise he,he, brought you in some scottish steak pie home made of course and a youghurt pot half chewed gypsy has brought you in one of mums coasters she had a little nibble just to try it for you see you soon luv and woofs ***rosie,gypsy&angel sasha***

Hi Holly, how are you? Getting older has simply nothing to recommend it, I realised that this morning when I was looking for my glasses. I knew that, being as blind as the proverbial bat, I had absolutely no hope of finding them unless I was actually wearing them, if you SEE what I mean. And I will not mention the senile moments which seem to come now with increasing frequency - did I shut the door? which door? why did I go upstairs? what was that I said I wouldn't forget? And the worrying thing is that I still have the male menopause to come!!!! Anyway, at least the doggies are all flourishing, the girlie gundogs spark each other off and seem to be in a permanent state of puppydom and it is wonderful and long may it last. And although Dobes is obviously beginning to feel his age and is sleeping most of the time, he remains a happy little chap. And none of them have to wear spectacles, the lucky sods. Today the threesome are delivering a bird's feather found by Purdey on our walk, a hair tie (Sarika's favourite toy, she loves it put on her nose) and a duvet (slightly used) from Max...oh yes, and an empty spectacle case. Have fun x

Hi Holly, "here we are again, happy as can be".......except we are NOT because it is back in the veterinary nurse's uniform again for me (any excuse!)........ and very fetching, or something, I look too!!! Sarika did another claw yesterday, I think that she hit a stone whilst charging around endeavouring to remind Purdey as to exactly who is the boss. Although there was a lot of blood at the time, it has already healed, so, although she is a bit lame still, that isn't the problem. No, today, instead, nurse David is clearing up after the upset stomachs of those two rather silly girlies who drank some rather unpleasant looking puddle water, no accidents in the house yet, thank goodness, but it is not the easiest thing to deal with in a wet garden! I fail to understand the attraction of stagnant puddle water, not that I have actually tried any but I doubt it has that lovely gooseberry and nettle tang of a nice glass of New Zealand sauvignon wine (do you know, my mouth actually started watering when I typed that!!! - How sad is that?). Anyway today we are dropping off useful stuff, some water purification tablets and, should you forget the tablets, some baby wipes and, most importantly, a bottle of NZ sauvignon for the humans.
