hey sooty, u are very handsome, i have a son who is 2 and a half called tyjo. i bet you two wud have fun together playing. he is a big boy so most dog owners dont let their dogs play with us. even though im a bit smaller they still worry. arnie who is a labby lurcher cross loves to play and mummy always keeps a eye on us. we have sent you some chicken and our love from jojo,ty and arnie xxx

Hi Sooty, how are you? Something extraordinary happened here earlier........THE SUN WAS SHINING. Based on the year so far, and the weather forecast, this could have been the summer so it was walkies time along the river with the girlies and, yes, dobes too, although he needed to be carried after 50 yards! Today’s treats, apart from our good wishes and some pork sausages, are a sunshade and, just in case the forecast is correct, an umbrella. Back soon but my ability to sort out a new computer arriving today will determine when! Have fun x PS It is raining again.

Hi Sooty, goodness me it was windy last night, I knew I would regret that second bowl of cabbage soup! Watched Crufts on the tv and there was that wonderful moment in the Friends for Life result when Harriet, the little girl with cerebral palsy, got upset after winning. Her dog, the beautiful Yepa, climbed onto Harriet's wheelchair to comfort her. It was such a wonderful moment it made me cry. The HWVs are such a fabulous sensitive breed. As a tribute to Yepa, her princessliness Sarika has been in the kitchen making an Hungarian goulash which she is sending over. Purdey is bringing the mashed potato and a vegetable of your choice and Max is bringing some bread with which you can mop up all those lovely juices. Enjoy x

Hi Sooty, a quick visit today. The dogs have managed to get some food from somewhere and Sarika is delivering two slices of wholemeal bread with flora spread on it, Purdey is delivering some tuna and His Maxwellness is delivering some sweetcorn and low fat mayo. Must go as I am providing a taxi service to one of the kids, a typical parental role, and they get soooo cross if you keep them waiting - exactly who is doing who a favour here, I often ask? - when, if ever, will it end, I ask even more often? Anyway, enough of that grumpy old man stuff, I have made myself a very nice sandwich - tuna, sweetcorn and low fat mayo in wholemeal bread with flora spread on it - so it is a quick scoff and then I am off. Now where did I put it?.....HMMMMMMMMMMMMM and more HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMs...Enjoy x
