Afternoon Buster. Hope all is well where you are. It's a dark, wet and miserable day here today. I have had two long walks and got soaking wet both times! Typical. I am in for the rest of the day now, so once I have fully dried off, I will be thoroughly groomed, then I will spend the evening lazing on the sofa! Bliss! Hehe! Take care and treat today is cheesy pasta bake. Lotsa love Harvey x x
Hi Buster, NEWS FLASH....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH..... ANOTHER SHOCK HORROR AWE FILLED SENSATION. People of Berkshire in the United of Kingdoms have been stunned by the incredible news from the davidmh kennel. Her Princessliness Sarika ....... a member of The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Royal Household, she of the ”butter wouldn’t melt” expression, she of the human eyes and the perfumed botty burps, the Laydee of the Month of Lurve, also known as Her Gorgeousness and, by Purdey, as Miss Goody Twoshoes............ has disgraced herself. On a walk this morning she did a Purdey, SHE ROLLED IN SOMETHING UNMENTIONABLE AND VERY SMELLY. Her human slave (now on tranquillisers) and the incorrigible one, the Poomonster, looked on in complete bewilderment. The sleeping dobes has yet to express an opinion. TV news crews from the Doggy Channel are on site and the Ambulance Service are administering to many stunned passers-by. What next?!!!! Will Sarika become the Poomonster? Will Purdey give up her title willingly? Will Max wake up? A bottle of pop and a fillet steak for you while we are waiting for answers to these fundamental questions. x
Hi Buster, thank for the visiting us, it is great to see you again. boy, it was hot here today. we kept ourselves cool on the bathroom floor. we had a lot of noise too. they had an air show at the base. a cheese burger for you. have a great weekend, God bless, love Tess & Buster ♥♥♥
Afternoon Buster. Hope all is well where you are. It is freezing cold here today. Mum has said I can start wearing my new coat soon. It is bright purple and very fetching! I saw a hare on my walk this morning. It was huge, and it just stared at me, before racing away. It was very, very fast so I just let it run. It was far too fast for me to even think about chasing it! Hehe! Take care my friend, and stay warm. Treat today is a hot water bottle and a hat and scarf! Lotsa love Harvey x x x x
Afternoon Buster. Hope all is well with you. Well, it is another beautiful Autumn day here. It is very sunny but so cold. I think I will need my coat soon! I had a great walk this afternoon. Mum fancied a change to our usual route and took me a different way. We saw lots of blackberry bushes and I just had to have a taste of some I saw lying on the grass. They were lovely! Mum called me a cheeky monkey for trying them. Well, we all have to grab the chance to try something different, don't we? Hehe! My hedgehogs are still visiting. Mum said it is getting very cold on a night now, so they need all the food they can get. She is a big softy, my mum. Dad just shakes his head every night when she wanders outside with the Kitten food for them. He says she needs help! Cheeky man! Take care my friend, and treat is some of those lovely blackberries. Enjoy! Lotsa love Harvey x x x x x
Hi Buster, I think Maxwell has turned into a fish as we have now “enjoyed” a veritable shoal of fish farts. I am not actually sure that “enjoyed” is the right word there! However I cannot find any fins on him so I asked the local “she who knows absolutely everything about dogs” and she said I had to squeeze some glands in his nether regions. “SQUEEZE......”GLANDS”..... .”MAX’S NETHER REGIONS”.......”ME”. I don’t think so, that’s the sort of thing you PAY someone else to do.......Mrs Davidmh, have you got any cash, would you like some? It has also been all quiet here as far as Purdey is concerned, no rolling in, no treading in nor scoffing of unmentionables. Which is TROUBLING because I said that pigs would fly before that happened. I now go outside with considerable trepidation...it is ok being hit by a bird poo from 100 feet but PIG POO!! Goodnight Vienna methinks. Her Princessliness remains just that so today she is sending over some cash (should you have Max’s problem) and a golfing umbrella for your slave, just in case pigs do fly! X PS the one good thing about fish farts (what AM I writing!!!!) is that I have discovered that my reflexes still work, you would not believe how quickly I got out of the sitting room yesterday!!!
Afternoon Buster. Hope you are well today. It's a terrible day here. The rain is torrential and it is so cold. I have just come back from a walk, and am now a Fluffy Monster as mum has dried me with my soft towel and I am all fluff! hehe! I will be groomed to within an inch of my life later!!! Take care my friend, and treat is fishcake and chips. Lotsa love Harvey x x x x x
Afternoon Buster. Hope all is well with you today. It's a beautiful Autumn day here - quite chilly but sunny. I had a lovely long hike this morning, and was quite tired when I got home, but mum has said we are off on the same walk later this afternoon. I bet I sleep well tonight! Hehe! My hedgehog pals are still visiting my garden. They were there last night, having a right feast and again, I wasn't allowed out until they had gone! I don't know, banned from my garden because of a couple of hedgehogs! Hehe! Take care my friend, and treat today is a chocolate chip cookie. Lotsa love Harvey x x x x x
Afternoon Buster. Hope all is well where you are. It is lovely here today. I had a long wander this morning, and off again sometime this afternoon. My park is still a mess. Tarmac went down yesterday for the skate park and B.M.X. track, but it looks terrible. Why dig up a lovely natural meadow for that is just beyond me! Mum moans whenever we go in there, which is three times a day, so that is a lot of moaning! Hehe! Hedgehogs are still there in my garden! They must be the best fed hedgehogs around!! Mum has ordered dad to construct a little feeding area for them so I cannot get to their food! As you know, I am allergic to meat, and mum feeds them Chicken Kitten food, so it would be nasty for me if I ate it! Spoilsport! No doubt he will just pile four bricks then plonk a bit of wood on top and expect mum to put the little dishes underneath! What an architect my dad is! hehehe! Take care my friend, and treat is chicken casserole. Lotsa love Harvey x x
Hi Buster, NOT THE BEST 24 HOURS. First of all Max did a “fish fart”, unfortunately he was sitting on my lap at the time. Owners of older dogs will probably know about fish farts, owners of younger dogs have a treat in store. I am not articulate enough to describe the noxious lingering pong that results. Then on our walk Sarika came back lame, by the looks of things she got a stone caught in her paw, no cuts but bruises. While I was sorting her out I noticed that Purdey had trailed some mud on the floor. I picked it up and sniffed it....WHY DID I DO THAT? WHY DID I PICK IT UP? WHY ON EARTH DID I SNIFF IT? It is fair to say that I now regret picking it up and, very particularly, sniffing it. The little darling had obviously walked in what she normally rolls in, deer poo I think. I very nearly joined my clothes in the washing machine. So indeed NOT THE BEST 24 HOURS and now there is the next 24 to look forward to, OH DEAR. Today the girls are sending over some spare kisses and Max is sending a cork and a nose clip. PS Despite being well snogged Tommy didn’t turn into a prince, perhaps because he is a toad rather than a frog? But at least he has a smile on his face now! x
Hi Buster, what a lovely weekend, perhaps THAT was our long awaited summer? We walked up the Thames a couple of times and much fun was had by all....well, except perhaps for the duck which Purdey chased.....or the tennis ball which Sarika managed to sink.... it is a tough life being a tennis ball round here! The weekend’s big news was that Sarika and Purdey found a new friend who we are calling Tommy (pic in kennel if you can get there!). Max hasn’t met Tommy (who might even be a prince, who knows) because dobes opted for sleep rather than exercise. Because of Tommy the girlies are sending over a HALL.....Purdey wanted to send mouthwash too but that is her problem, serves her right for picking up Tommy with her mouth......all will become obvious, hopefully. Have fun x
Hi buster, how are you today? great to spend time with you again. we survived our big storm last night. this one did not miss us. we had strong wind and large hail. you should have seen the lightening. we were not scared. they tell us we might get one tonight too. we have a chicken treat for you too enjoy. God bless, have a great day. love Tess & Buster ♥♥♥
Afternoon Buster. Hope all is well where you are. It is another beautiful day here. I had a long wander with mum this morning and had a whale of a time. All the leaves are falling off the trees and they are great for snuffling about in. Hehe! I took my Blue Bear with me, and a lady stopped me to ask me if I was taking MY doggy for a walk! Could she not see it is a bear and not a dog?!! Hehe! Take care, my friend, and treat today is a bowl of tea and a Mars Bar. Lotsa love Harvey x x x x x
Afternoon Buster. Hope all is well with you. It is a beautiful day here. Typical Autumnal weather, sunny but quite chilly and it is just glorious. I had a lovely long wander this morning with mum, then she dropped me off with dad and Grandad, and off she went to take Katie and Norman for their hike. Just as well she likes walking. We are off again soon for another trek out. Great fun!! Take care my friend, and treat today is a sausage sandwich. Lotsa love Harvey x x x x
Evening Buster. Hope you have had a lovely day. It has rained all day here, but I have had a great day. I went out with my mum, dad and grandad and we ended up going to the coast! Grandad stayed in the car, while mum and dad took me for a long walk along the sea front. I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though it was drizzling! Lots of new sights and smells for me to investigate. Mum then went and bought some fresh fish and a crab! Wow! She had some this evening and gave me a tiny little taste. It was the first time I had tried crab and it was delicious so I am leaving some for you as your treat. Enjoy, my friend! Lotsa love Harvey x x
Afternoon Buster. Hope you are well today. Another funny day here. This morning started off beautiful and sunny, but now we have black skies and it has turned quite cold! No rain yet, but it won't be long until it pours down - again. I had a lovely long walk with mum and dad this morning. We went to the Post Office and mum got her Lottery tickets for this evening. Mum was in ages chatting, so I had to bark and let her know how impatient dad and I were waiting outside for her! It worked, because she came straight out! Hehe! Take care my friend, and treat is a Twix and a cappuccino. Lotsa love Harvey x x x x x
Afternoon Buster. Hope you are well today. It's another dull day here. The rain has stopped, at long last, so I may get out for a long hike later this afternoon - worse luck! There is so much mud around that I always come home filthy and have to be washed down! Not nice for a retriever who hates water! Hehe! Take care my friend and treat today is a candle for you to light and remember our dearly departed friends. Lotsa love Harvey x x x x
Hi Buster, some people say that you shouldn’t NAME and SHAME unpleasant behaviour on DoggySnaps. Well, I am going to make an exception to the rule because, quite frankly, enough is enough........The NAME is.....PURDEY...............THE SHAME is.....FOX POO. Now I guess that some people probably think I exaggerate Purdey’s prideliction for recycled animal dinners.....well, this time the gorgeous little sod has got her comeuppance because I took a photograph of her in her fox poo finery and I have put it in her kennel for all her friends and supporters to see. Serves her right. The clean and fragrant ones, Princessliness Sarika and His Baldiness, are dropping off virtual photos of themselves.....”unpooed” they said somewhat smugly! Have fun x PS New new computer still working, PHEW.
Afternoon Buster. Hope all is well with you. Another wet and miserable day here. We have had torrential rain all day - again!! I had my plodge in the park this morning, but it is more like a giant mud bath with all the building work going on, so I came home filthy, and was actually washed down outside! How very dare my mum! Take care my friend, and treat today is four wellies and a rain hat! Lotsa love Harvey x x x x

The workmen will not be happy on Monday morning! Hehe! Take care my friend, and treat is beef casserole. Lotsa love Harvey x x
