Hi Barney, NEWS FLASH....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH..... ANOTHER SHOCK HORROR AWE FILLED SENSATION. People of Berkshire in the United of Kingdoms have been stunned by the incredible news from the davidmh kennel. Her Princessliness Sarika ....... a member of The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Royal Household, she of the ”butter wouldn’t melt” expression, she of the human eyes and the perfumed botty burps, the Laydee of the Month of Lurve, also known as Her Gorgeousness and, by Purdey, as Miss Goody Twoshoes............ has disgraced herself. On a walk this morning she did a Purdey, SHE ROLLED IN SOMETHING UNMENTIONABLE AND VERY SMELLY. Her human slave (now on tranquillisers) and the incorrigible one, the Poomonster, looked on in complete bewilderment. The sleeping dobes has yet to express an opinion. TV news crews from the Doggy Channel are on site and the Ambulance Service are administering to many stunned passers-by. What next?!!!! Will Sarika become the Poomonster? Will Purdey give up her title willingly? Will Max wake up? A bottle of pop and a fillet steak for you while we are waiting for answers to these fundamental questions. x
Hi Barney and gang, Jack here, I've had a quiet week this week, Mum has been taking me out for a walk on most mornings as Claire has been working extra hours again, I went to the vets for my annual injections on Thursday - usually the women vet sees me but this time I had the male vet, I had to tell him how dominate I was so I give him my best growls (especially when he looked at my teeth), well he told Claire off as I was a bit over weight and they have put me on a special diet - which tastes disgusting - not like my usual Bakers. Anyway today I'm sending you my portion of Bacon as I'm not allowed to have any this morning Take Care Luv Jack
Hi Barney, I think Maxwell has turned into a fish as we have now “enjoyed” a veritable shoal of fish farts. I am not sure that “enjoyed” is the right word there! However I cannot find any fins on him so I asked the local “she who knows absolutely everything about dogs” and she said I had to squeeze some glands in his nether regions. “SQUEEZE......”GLANDS”..... .”MAX’S NETHER REGIONS”.......”ME”. I don’t think so, that’s the sort of thing you PAY someone else to do. Mrs Davidmh, have you got any cash, would you like some? It has also been all quiet here as far as Purdey is concerned, no rolling in, no treading in, nor scoffing of unmentionables. Which is TROUBLING because I said that pigs would fly before that happened. I now go outside with considerable trepidation...it is ok being hit by a bird poo from 100 feet but PIG!! Goodnight Vienna methinks. Her princessliness remains just that so today she is sending over some cash (should you have Max’s problem) and a golfing umbrella for your slave, just in case pigs do fly! X PS the one good thing about fish farts (what AM I writing!!!!) is that I have discovered that my reflexes still work, you would not believe how quickly I got out of the sitting room yesterday!!!
Hi Barney and gang, sorry I haven't been around for the past week, but Claire has been very busy with work, i made her feel very guilty about it this morning and so she took me to Pets at Home she brought me a new bed, some toys (I especially like a green ball, that sqeaks when I try to bite it) and some treats - Bakers Walkies and Denti sticks. Today I am sending you all a big juicy steak Take Care Luv Jack
Hi Barney, what a lovely weekend, perhaps THAT was our long awaited summer? We walked up the Thames a couple of times and much fun was had by all....well, except perhaps for the duck which Purdey chased.....or the tennis ball which Sarika managed to sink.... it is a tough life being a tennis ball round here! The weekend’s big news was that Sarika and Purdey found a new friend who we are calling Tommy (pic in kennel if you can get there!). Max hasn’t met Tommy (who might even be a prince, who knows) because dobes opted for sleep rather than exercise. Because of Tommy the girlies are sending over a HALL.....Purdey wanted to send mouthwash too but that is her problem, serves her right for picking up Tommy with her mouth......all will become obvious, hopefully. Have fun x
HI Barney, and gang, well we're having a mini heat wave down here in Wales, so I've got my sun glasses on and am catching a few rays in a the garden - Claire has even taken some pictures of me - she will download them in a few days so that you can all view! Today I'm sending you a lovely chilled Ice lolly as a treat Take Care luv Jack
Hi Barney and company, nothing much to report today apart from having a long and peacefully walk with Claire, and then coming back to half a bacon sandwich and some of Claire's yummy cakes. Today I'm sending you all a big cooked chicken and a nice big fat juicy bone Take Care luv Jack
Hiya Tink is flying us in on her broomstick tonight, mummy says she's a right little witch hehehe she has bit mums toe tonight and you should have seen her dance, we didnt think she could do the quickstep hehehe leaving you jam roly poly and custard for your supper xx Lucy Poppy and Killer ooops we mean Tink xx
Hi Barney, how are you? SHOCK HORROR SENSATIONAL NEWS........ the doggies are all very well but one of them (GUESS WHO?) is in David’s bad books. Did I ever tell you that Purdey can do the “backstroke”...seemingly for a laugh she will travel around in the house on her back, pushing herself along with her hind legs. She really is a clown. Anyway, after being NAMED and SHAMED I thought that she would turn over a new leaf on the poo subject. Well she sort of did........she actually rolled on a leaf yesterday..........unfortunately the leaf was underneath a pile of very fresh deer poo. My heart sank when having rolled she then decided to do the “backstroke” on the poo too. And then this person came along and said...”she is covered in it” (I think that was the word).....”thank you” said I. GRRRRRRRRRRR. She has now decided to be a guard dog although her kennel picture is causing me some concern on that subject too. Anyway, today we are sending over a royal wave from the princess, sweet dreams from dobes and, you guessed it, a leaf from Purdey. Have fun x. PS I would handle the leaf with care!
Hi Barney, well I've had a quietish weekend, Claire made good on her promise to take me to the vets after my little escapade in the pond, on Friday evening I had a bit of a funny belly, so Saturday morning Claire was the first in the queue, the vet said that he'd give me an antibiotic shot just in case but as I'm up to date with all my shots I should be ok. I'm having a good rest this morning by the stove whilst the Chicken cooks for my dinner. As it's Sunday I'm sending you a big Chicken dinner, with Rice Pudding and a Dental stick for afters Take Care Luv Jack
HiBarney, well I enjoyed my morning in the park (or should that be in the lake) as Claire (who should know better) let me off the lead and I run straight into the pond chasing the ducks , although I never managed to catch one, just some duck weed and mud from the pond's bottom! I've got to say through that I never knew Claire had such a loud voice, Once Claire managed to get me out of the pond, there was the small matter of how she was going to get me home as she hadn't put any towels in the car (only the plastic mat in the cage on the back seat) Claire spent all afternoon trying to get rid of the damp smell in the car, she's even threatening to take me to the Vet as she says that cause the water was so dirty that I might have picked up something (unfortunately i don't think she meant a duck) today i'm sending you a lovely duck breast and some duck weed - which is quite tasty! luv Jack
Hi Barney and Gang, Jack here, I'm having a quiet afternoon - playing with my ball and waiting for the chicken which is roasting in the oven. Claire is working today so it has been a quiet day - She's off tomorrow so I'll pester her into taking me down the park in the morning where I can roll around in all manner of unpleasant stuff - For treats tonight I'm sending you a steaming bowl of beef stew with some doggy chocolate for afters luv Jack PS - Claire was very sorry too hear about your Mum, hope your Dad is ok.
Hi Barney, some people say that you shouldn’t NAME and SHAME unpleasant behaviour on DoggySnaps. Well, I am going to make an exception to the rule because, quite frankly, enough is enough........The NAME is.....PURDEY...............THE SHAME is.....FOX POO. Now I guess that some people probably think I exaggerate Purdey’s prideliction for recycled animal dinners.....well, this time the gorgeous little sod has got her comeuppance because I took a photograph of her in her fox poo finery and I have put it in her kennel for all her friends and supporters to see. Serves her right. The clean and fragrant ones, Princessliness Sarika and His Baldiness, are dropping off virtual photos of themselves.....”unpooed” they said somewhat smugly! Have fun x PS New new computer still working, PHEW.

Tonight's treat is a plate of lovely fish and chips and a cup of hot cocoa - which I have before I go to bed - it's lovely Take Care Luv Jack
Hello Barney and gang, I've had a quite Monday today as Claire was working so it was my Job to look after Mum (Mum is off work at the moment as she has slipped a disc in her back) - after making sure Mum was comfortable on the seetee, I went on my usual slug patrol of the garden, not many slugs out this morning but I did roll in something nice and sticky (when Claire came home from work she had to give me a bath as I was smelling a bit) - tonight I'm leaving you a plate of Claire's Cottage pie (it's ok once you have scrapped the burnt bits off the top - Claire's cooking leaves a lot to be desired) and a couple of Markies Luv Jack
Hi Barney and the gang, I'm having a lazy Sunday, I'm having a kip on Claire's Lap while she is typing this to you - I'm telling her what to type of course! In between snoring that is. I managed to get out and about on a nice long walk this morning - I'm so glad that it is not raining down here again - especially now that Claire has reduced her hours again- and next time when she comes home and says that they have got extra hours for her I am going to put my paws down! Anyway the smell of beef cooking is coming from the oven so today for my treat I am sending you a lovely beef dinner with Mum's home mad Yorkshire Puddings and Rice Pudding for afters - woof to yo tomorrow Luv Jack and Claire
Hi Barney, sorry I haven't been around for a while, but my owner Claire, has been working full time for a few months, thankfully she has gone back to working part time now so she has lots more time to devout to me now!!! Here's a treat for you and I will bark at you tomorrow Luv Jack (and Claire)
Hellooooo Barney, lovely to see you again my friend. Not alot happening over here to speak of. After my walk with mummy last night, we had a bubble fight in the garden. Mummy switched the machine on and it was a race to see who could burst the most bubbles, me or her!!! I won hehehehehe. Well Must go, mummy has to get an early night tonight, leaving you a plate of chicken nuggets. Enjoy! Lots of woofs, wags and cuddles Poppy xxxxxxxxx
Hi Barney, I have been painting with my tail & for days had a 'Applewhite' designer tail with delicate flicks on the ends, the cats have been keeping me busy, bit scared of Tigger, he sometimes blocks me in the kitchen & I have to bark so my Mum & Dad can remove him to enable me to get pass, it is those sharp things at the end of his claws, I don't like, he is into everything, the washing machine, dishwasher, he jumps onto my Mum back & she has to piggyback him to the settee, he has even learnt how to paw out the cat food out of tins. Do you remember Arthur, the white cat on TV a few years back?, he has copied that trick. Zebedee, sadly has been catching birds, we tried to save them, but as you know, once a cat catches one, sadly their fate is sealed, she attempted to revitalised one with water, he did respond but a few seconds later died in her hands. To human news, my Mum tried to set the kitchen alight, she made some watercress homemade soup & turn down the gas when she did something else, forgot to turn it off completely & when later put down her favourite doggy fleece on the stove ready for the next wash, went out to hang the first wash on the line, needless to say, the fleece went up in flames, she was so cross with herself for being so silly but it could have been a lot worse, if it had been Dad's shorts she could have replaced them from M&S but this fleece was a one off. I have been off my medication apart from joint care, to see how I fare, still get tired and I still get a limp but now the weather is cooler, it doesn't seem as bad, I tend to run around like a mad thing for the first 5 minutes & then run out of energy, if I meet my friend Susie, she keeps me going while the Mums chat. I am leaving you some Cullen Skink, my Mum has learnt her lesson & always double checks the gas ring is turned off. There is probably more to tell, but I haven't been in contact for a while, so might have forgotten some antics. Love, Dylan xx xx
