Hi Barney. Hope alls well there with you all. The rains have returned here and it’s a little cooler than of late, so we are catching up on some indoor chores. We are waiting for a man to collect our lawn mower and give it a service, and Mum say’s if he doesn’t turn up soon , we’ll need a combine harvester to sort the grass out. LOL. Today’s treat is a smelly tripe stick, to be eaten outside only. Tee! Hee! Sorry if we don’t visit as regular as we did but the sites so slow lately, it takes Mum ages to get round, but we still think of you. Xxx Owen and Aunty Marie.xxx

Hi Barney, thank you for the treat, Mum has finally added Tilly' s picture so I hope you will drop by. She is now my best pal and I like her lots but I wish she would stop biting my ears and trying to get me to play with her. I am 7 now and get a bit tired, and she is only 8 months old. Hi Barney and friends. Well it’s June and let’s hope this month brings health and happiness to all our pals here, doggie and human. We are very busy this week, as we get ready for a weeks holiday at the small house, on Friday 6th , I am helping mum with all the chores. Take care of yourselves if we don’t see you before we go. Hi Barney,lovely to see you bestest pal,well we have had some lovely weather and like you i love to sunbath but mum makes me go inside as i dont have much fur on my belly and she worries bout me burning,Mums eh! I've got a sun brolly that I lie under,can't understand why mums allowed to lie in it.No worries about the sun this weekend as it seems to have done a dissapearing act.Bet you can't wait to go to your caravan,let us know all about it.Leaving a blue beach ball and a fluffy towel to lie on after that dip in the sea.xxx to all owen and Marie.xxx

Hi Barney, Hope alls well with you all there? Looks like we are in for a windy weekend here, so got me coat at the ready, we are away till Monday, so I’m dropping off weekend treats early. Seeing as it doesn’t look too good for a B.B.Q. Mums put the steak into a stew (sacrilege) I said, So it’s stew and dumplings all round with crusty bread to mop up the juice. Hi Barney.Hope alls well there with you all. Well the sun has got his hat on today but it’s still very chilly, When will spring warmth arrive we would like to know. We are going to wrap up and do some work in the front garden now the builders have finished out there, It now means I can run full circle round the house with my toys what fun, but Mum says I’ve got to take it steady when the decking is wet, and I found out just what she meant as I rounded the corner at full speed, OUCH!! Hi Barney, you will never guess what Sarika and Purdey found in the garden last night. There is a clue in the well-known English phrase "pi**ed as a newt" (although, personally, I have never seen a newt drunk). No, silly you, it wasn't a "pi**ed as"....whatever that might be....it was a NEWT. I haven't seen a newt for many years. I have no idea where it came from nor to where it was going but I think breeding is on its agenda. Although I let it go I was tempted to keep it as a pet because I could have called it TINY as, after all, it would have been MY NEWT! (there's nothing like a good old'un as I now unfortunately have to say with increasing regularity). I could have taken it gunnewt training, I could have taught it recall or even dressage to music. I clearly need to lie down. Meanwhile the newt finders and dobes are delivering some bread and worms in case you should find a newt, if not, according to Purdey, the worms are quite scrummy. And on my behalf there is a packet of Cadbury's mini eggs for your humans because it is Easter and because I, David, think that mini eggs are even scrummier than worms. Enjoy.

I've never been without other dogs; I came straight from my Mum and litter to Ebony, who was a year older but had the same parents as me. My Mum is still very upset. Hi Barney me bestest pal.Wow a conservatory sounds great,I love to bask in the sunshine too!.We were at the caravan the weekend it was pretty windy but were not by the coast so very lucky to get down there most weekends.Mum says she finds it difficult to keep up with all the messages now as we have so many pals and she hates doing cut and paste,so we only really get round to special pals,else we'd be on here 24/7.You'll have to do the typing till mums hand gets better.So glad you have settled in so well at your new house.We are up to our necks in it here,still living in the annex and kithcen,the decorator has finished the bedrooms but we cant move back in till he finishes the living room,then the carpet fitters will come,it will be worth it though.Take good care of yourselves till we see you again.Leaving you a case of assorted whiskas cat foods.Love to all.Owen and the gang.xxx

Hi Barney, how have ya been?Hope alls o.k. have'nt seen ya for a while angel. Have you had any snow yet? I’m waiting by the window but the sun is shining here, so don’t think we will be making snowmen today! Hi Barney, only had about 5 minutes for DoggySnaps yesterday as I had appointments with several Ms - not Maltesers unfortunately but Motorways, the M3, the M25 and the M23. Today's visit is about SARIKA who, as some will know, was yesterday announced as winner of the Humansnaps Laydee of the Month award for February, the Month of Lurve. I was really pleased and not a little proud and I just wanted to say thank you to all those who voted for her gorgeousness and also I wanted to compliment all the other lovely dogs who were nominated. In celebration we partied long into the night, apart from the other supermodel, Purdey, who was in disgrace, having again rolled in something that was both unmentionable and of uncertain origin but was, being typical Purdey, very smelly. Today the girls, the Laydee of the Month and Purdey (newly refragantised - nice make up word that), are delivering kisses to absolutely everyone and Max is delivering handshakes xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Oh yes, it is also DDDD30 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 30) and it was weigh day yesterday......10lbs gone now. I was chuffed about that too but not nearly as much as about my beautiful Sarika x
