Hi Phoenix and gang, Jack here, I've had a quiet week this week, Mum has been taking me out for a walk on most mornings as Claire has been working extra hours again, I went to the vets for my annual injections on Thursday - usually the women vet sees me but this time I had the male vet, I had to tell him how dominate I was so I give him my best growls (especially when he looked at my teeth), well he told Claire off as I was a bit over weight and they have put me on a special diet - which tastes disgusting - not like my usual Bakers. Anyway today I'm sending you my portion of Bacon as I'm not allowed to have any this morning Take Care Luv Jack

Hi Phoenix. Hope you are well. I can't believe how long its been since I last came on. I'll have to practice sneaking on to talk to you more! Mum and sis have been telling me all day that i've got to go and have a needle stuck in me tomorrow. I wish they wouldn't coz it don't sound very nice. Anyway, thats not what I don't like. It's when they start touching my feet and doing my claws that I don't like it. I think mum's hoping that I don't snap at the vet like I did the last time they trimmed my claws. Anyway that would teach her to take me to have needles stuck in me wouldn't it? Leaving you a beef treat. Talk soon, Love Ben x

Hi Phoenix and all the crew. Haven't been around for ages for many reasons, so now am trying to catch up with my pals. It's cold and rainy and windy here today, Autumn is really here and I don't like it! I hate being stuck indoors. Mummy has been really busy at work over the past couple of months and had to work lots of weird shifts and extra hours so I was starting to miss her and get a bit worried - but fortunately that's all over now, we're back to normal and can go out to the parks and go on trips again (that's if it ever stops raining !!!).Hope all is well with you, love and woofs from Shane XX

Hi Pheonix and gang, sorry I haven't been around for the past week, but Claire has been very busy with work, i made her feel very guilty about it this morning and so she took me to Pets at Home she brought me a new bed, some toys (I especially like a green ball, that sqeaks when I try to bite it) and some treats - Bakers Walkies and Denti sticks. Hi Phoenix and gang, well I've had a quietish weekend, Claire made good on her promise to take me to the vets after my little escapade in the pond, on Friday evening I had a bit of a funny belly, so Saturday morning Claire was the first in the queue, the vet said that he'd give me an antibiotic shot just in case but as I'm up to date with all my shots I should be ok. I'm having a good rest this morning by the stove whilst the Chicken cooks for my dinner. Hi Pheonix and gang, well I enjoyed my morning in the park (or should that be in the lake) as Claire (who should know better) let me off the lead and I run straight into the pond chasing the ducks , although I never managed to catch one, just some duck weed and mud from the pond's bottom! I've got to say through that I never knew Claire had such a loud voice, Once Claire managed to get me out of the pond, there was the small matter of how she was going to get me home as she hadn't put any towels in the car (only the plastic mat in the cage on the back seat) Claire spent all afternoon trying to get rid of the damp smell in the car, she's even threatening to take me to the Vet as she says that cause the water was so dirty that I might have picked up something (unfortunately i don't think she meant a duck) today i'm sending you a lovely duck breast and some duck weed - which is quite tasty! luv Jack

Hi Phoenix and Gang, Jack here, I'm having a quiet afternoon - playing with my ball and waiting for the chicken which is roasting in the oven. Claire is working today so it has been a quiet day - She's off tomorrow so I'll pester her into taking me down the park in the morning where I can roll around in all manner of unpleasant stuff - For treats tonight I'm sending you a steaming bowl of beef stew with some doggy chocolate for afters luv Jack

Claire made me put on my coat when we went out for walkies today - it didn't protect me much as I still got soaking wet!! Hello Phoenix and gang, I've had a quite Monday today as Claire was working so it was my Job to look after Mum (Mum is off work at the moment as she has slipped a disc in her back) - after making sure Mum was comfortable on the seetee, I went on my usual slug patrol of the garden, not many slugs out this morning but I did roll in something nice and sticky (when Claire came home from work she had to give me a bath as I was smelling a bit) - tonight I'm leaving you a plate of Claire's Cottage pie (it's ok once you have scrapped the burnt bits off the top - Claire's cooking leaves a lot to be desired) and a couple of Markies Luv Jack

Hi Phoenix and the gang, I'm having a lazy Sunday, I'm having a kip on Claire's Lap while she is typing this to you - I'm telling her what to type of course! In between snoring that is. I managed to get out and about on a nice long walk this morning - I'm so glad that it is not raining down here again - especially now that Claire has reduced her hours again- and next time when she comes home and says that they have got extra hours for her I am going to put my paws down! Anyway the smell of beef cooking is coming from the oven so today for my treat I am sending you a lovely beef dinner with Mum's home mad Yorkshire Puddings and Rice Pudding for afters - woof to yo tomorrow Luv Jack and Claire

Hi Phoenix, I have been painting with my tail & for days had a 'Applewhite' designer tail with delicate flicks on the ends, the cats have been keeping me busy, bit scared of Tigger, he sometimes blocks me in the kitchen & I have to bark so my Mum & Dad can remove him to enable me to get pass, it is those sharp things at the end of his claws, I don't like, he is into everything, the washing machine, dishwasher, he jumps onto my Mum back & she has to piggyback him to the settee, he has even learnt how to paw out the cat food out of tins. Do you remember Arthur, the white cat on TV a few years back?, he has copied that trick. Zebedee, sadly has been catching birds, we tried to save them, but as you know, once a cat catches one, sadly their fate is sealed, she attempted to revitalised one with water, he did respond but a few seconds later died in her hands. To human news, my Mum tried to set the kitchen alight, she made some watercress homemade soup & turn down the gas when she did something else, forgot to turn it off completely & when later put down her favourite doggy fleece on the stove ready for the next wash, went out to hang the first wash on the line, needless to say, the fleece went up in flames, she was so cross with herself for being so silly but it could have been a lot worse, if it had been Dad's shorts she could have replaced them from M&S but this fleece was a one off. I have been off my medication apart from joint care, to see how I fare, still get tired and I still get a limp but now the weather is cooler, it doesn't seem as bad, I tend to run around like a mad thing for the first 5 minutes & then run out of energy, if I meet my friend Susie, she keeps me going while the Mums chat. I am leaving you some Cullen Skink, my Mum has learnt her lesson & always double checks the gas ring is turned off. There is probably more to tell, but I haven't been in contact for a while, so might have forgotten some antics. Love, Dylan xx xx

well what a time i've had again, i've never met a dog that tried to kill me before. 2 men came to the house today over the incident, mummy said they were please-men, so i tried to do my bit and please them and left a little pressie at their feet, well mummy went a strange colour and said she was mortified, what a cheek!!! worse than that though, she gets all annoyed if i leave a tiny wet patch on the carpet and today she has soaked every last inch, i don't even have a dry spot to lie on. she said she was sham-pooing, and yet i'm not allowed to poo on the carpet. i don't think i'll ever understand the strange human things. leaving you a bacon buttie tonight, love kizzie, xxx

Hi Phoenix, how are you today? It's another wet day here. I'm soooo bored with it all! I nearly fell downstairs this morning! I was asleep in a nice comfy bed, and I heard the postman coming. I leapt up and started for the stairs before I really knew where I was! Lucikly I managed to keep upright, but the postman had already gone by the time I got to the door!
