Hi Tasha, the work on the doggies only ark has stopped!!! Not because of workers industrial action (when I say workers I use the term very loosely as I, of course, refer to Sarika, Purdey, Maxwell and me and Maxwell is asleep and the other three of us are pretty useless at ark building!), not because of poor pay or long hours or union policy. Nope, work has stopped on HDS (His David's Ship) WOOF because the sun has come out. It is dry and warm and long may it remain so. Following various incidents featuring my fingers and thumbs, the hammer and me, I am sure that I heard a sigh of relief from the aforementioned digits (those that remain) when we decided to down tools. As a result, today the girlies and dobes are delivering some Soltan factor 25 sun lotion, a knotted handkerchief (also known as my sunhat) and my hammer (because it will be safer if you look after it). Have fun x

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good easter, thing here a little stressed as a "lovely" (ie..painful) neighbour complained to council that Bandit barks all day long even though he doesnt and the dog she actually hears is a maltese terrier next door to me!!!! (yes my giant Labx Kelpie apparently yaps like a little terrier?!?!) anyway that aside its been raining here so winter is coming early i think... Bella has given up on the doggy circus as she has outgrown her escape routes so a new career needed, big licks and paws up to all and treats all round xoxo

Hi Tasha, toupee of the morning to you! Some of you will know that I, David, had a BRILLIANT idea about dog hair. Hmmmmmmmmm. Well Mrs Davidmh didn't think so, in fact she was so cross that last night I was banished from the house and had to sleep in a tent in the garden, I didn't even have the moulting hairy gundogs with me for company and warmth. Brrrrrrrrr it was jolly cold. You see Mrs Davidmh is not best pleased - it is because of all of the hair, in all sorts of colours, which we are being sent by our fellow Doggysnappers. Personally I, and the doggies, think it is wonderful but the Mrs has got a cross face on. I wonder whether she actually heard me say it was "virtual" hair? Perhaps she only heard me mention four tons? Perhaps I'd better try and explain again? Hmmmmmm. In the meantime Purdey and Sarika and Max are sending a snowball made from yesterday's snow and a piece of the egg custard tart, flavoured with cardamom and with a pistachio topping, which I made for a party on Saturday.
