Hi Hugo, today we are celebrating, sort of. I have noticed that not only does Purdey recall to her name but now she, the Poomonster, also recalls to the phrase "crikey, what is that effing stink". I wonder why? As a tribute to her achievement Sarika and Maxwell and I have been cooking and are delivering a three course meal - a starter of courgette soup with garlic and blue cheese, a main of salmon en croute with a dill sauce (max made this and apologises for any bones, he thinks he got them all but it is tricky with paws) and a choice of puddings - key lime pie or iced white chocolate terrine with a raspberry coulis, or both, if you like. I will also add a couple of bottles of "pop". David is still dieting.....David still has food obsession...Oh dear! Have fun x

ELo HUgo! How are you my love? We had NO rain at the caravan this weekend (apart from very early Sunday morning and it all dried up by the time I went out!). I sat in the shower after my walk and they REFUSED to shower me, no matter how much I cried!!! Then, my friend Bracken (cross alsatian rotty) and I played and played and had a great time together. She is like a mum to me, she is so gentle - although I was worried when she kept insisting on sitting on mum's knee cos that's MY mum and what's more she's SO big (Bracken, not mum!). Mum and her friend said we were the best dogs in Britain as we didn't once growl or bark at each other and we even slept all night together. Only naughty thing was when I stole Bracken's dentastick she'd hidden behind the sofa! Dad came down yesterday and took me over to Lindisfarne and he let me have one lick of his guinness................no matter how much I begged he didn't let me have any more. Next weekend I am hoping for some Mead, but mum has her reservations on that one! Anyway here's your treat - some guinness and a bowl of Irish stew. Why? Because it'll give you hairs on your chest! XXxxXX
