Hi Meg, another cold day. I think that will be the topic of conversation for a while yet. ha ha ha! Well mummy just can't get back into work mode. The mornings are soooooo cold and getting out of a warm bed just dosen't seem right. Oh well, just means more cuddling up to her to keep her warm. Leaving you a cuppa soup my friend. hi guys, how are you on this freezing freezing winters day, i tried the puppydog eyes with daddy today - so he wouldn't take me out in the horrible cold, but it didn't work, he made me go out there brrrrrrrrrrrrrr, i made sure it was the quickest walk in history, i dragged him to the field, did what i had to - then dragged him home, no way was i staying out there any longer than i had too hehe, todays treat is lamb hotpot, wags and woofs shadow

Hi there.. Angus here.. hope you are all keeping warm in this arctic cold. It hasn’t snowed here, but the sea is so cold the spray is freezing and causing a band of snow on the beach. It is so weird to see. I have enjoyed running and rolling in it. Hope our Aussie friends are keeping cool… they can send some warmth over if they want..hehehe The workmen are in the garden this morning to put up a new fence along the right side with my neighbour. It will stop me jumping over. Such spoilsports. Still, I can jump over to my neighbours on the left side. Daddy doesn’t mind as they told him that they love me and encourage me to go and play. Hope youre having fun. Heres a glass of whiskey to keep you warm (baileys in ice for those in warmer climates), and a lamb kebab.. Take care.. Angus xxx

Morning Meg we hope you have a lovely day we still have abit of snow in are back garden!! all in the same spot though i don't mind though i love snow!! holly was even out there last night for ages i ate some of it well it taste quite nice :) we have just been for a lovely walk over the park i didn't get to go in the tennis courts because some of are friends were over the park so we played with them yes even i did well i am not missing out playing it's not my fault mummy stands in my way and gets tied up heeheeeeee well last night mummy's face kept getting in the way she kept getting are bums in her face and no we didn't fart gosh we should of thought of that at the time we will try it next time heeheeeeee now some doggies have asked for a prezzie and card for us which of course we asked you to do and we are very happy about that of course we are not paying mummy is haaahaaaaaaa but really she doesn't mind she loves buying for doggies so don't be shy and pm us if you would like a card and prezzie from us for your birthday and xmas!! :) oh and a farrrrrrt too of course we have loads of them!! heeheeeeeee well levon and lettie (mummy's friends kids) are coming round tommorow we are babysitting them for the whole day!! so we will not be on until night time :( but we are looking forward to having them round they are going to play on the wii fit mummy said's she is going shopping with them tommorow over the road so if you want a prezzie tell us by tommorow!! :) of course they are taking us for walkies to though and i am going to make sure they play ball with me heeheeee and holly will just be a flirt and want some fuss and attention and more fuss!! well we must be off mummy said something about getting the hoover out of course she will need are help i love to put the hoover in my mouth and bark at it and holly loves to bark and bark at it and run away from it sometimes!! mummy doesn't seem to like us helping her though well aren't humans just ungrateful heeheeeeeeeeee now your treat this morning is a piece of the hoover and a wii fit well we can't have the humans showing us up now can we :) love and lots of licks and big hugs bella and holly xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi all, it’s Angus here. Dad is so sorry that we haven’t been on for a while, poor old soul, he has had the flu over Christmas, and was left with a cough for the new year. He has been quite poorly and his voice vanished. It was great, he couldn’t stop me when I was naughty.. Hehehe Well I had lots of prezzies over Christmas, toys, bones, a new coat (don’t ask for a pic, I don’t really like it, I know Teddy will laugh if he saw me wearing it), even dog beer. We went to Bertie’s house on Christmas day and while daddy was feeling sorry for himself, I played with Bertie and Tia, a GSD. Daddy is getting his voice back now, its very squeaky, and I think it will take a while for him to get back to normal, but he is feeling better, and he’s gone back to work (Pity). Leaving you a special treat of Steak and Chips… mm my favourite. Love Angus xx

Hello Meg - hope you and the family are okay. When we go out for our walks we very rarely see anyone else but yesterday there was a lady coming towards us with a lovely black lab and Kia ran off to meet it. Mum was a bit worried because she never knows how Kia will react to other dogs as sometimes she can be a bit aggressive but she loved this dog called Josh, probably because he looked a bit like our friend Beamish in Kent. Suddenly mum realised this lady had a miniature daschund as well and was convinced Kia would have a go at it but she didn’t and just sniffed it and then went off to play with Josh again. Then this morning a very boisterous puppy came running up to us and Kia ran around playing with it! The man who owned it also had a big black GSD which sniffed at Kia and she was very respectful! Then tonight we saw a border terrier which came charging up and although Kia did a little growl she then ignored it and came back to mum when she was called. It seems Kia has suddenly become a changed girl and mum is so happy about it. Lets hope this is going to continue! Its been soooo cold that mum has been taking us out with her big woolly scarf tied round her head with her funny hat with the earflaps on. We have to run about to keep warm. The big muddy puddle is frozen and we both skated on it yesterday. Mum says its too cold for her to go riding as its no fun when Milly (the horse) slips and slides on the icy road not to mention scary! Well we are snuggled up in front of the fire tonight and sending you a big bowl of hot porridge to keep you warm. For our friends in the Southern Hemisphere here is a cornet of frozen pony poo with a sprinkling of sheep droppings which we find particularly tasty. Love and Licks from Jackson and Kia xxx

Hi Meg, did you have a good christmas and new year? our mum and dad both had bad colds for most of it so it could of been better for them, but us doggies had a great time as it was lovely to have daddy home even if he was ill and then there was all that lovely food. What a surprise we had this morning when we woke up to find snow it's the first snow we have had since April here on the south coast. Lots of leftover treats for you xxx

Hi Meg and Buddy, when I got up this morning it was snowing! I got soooo excited and went charging around the garden. There wasn't much of it though, and not enough to build a snowdog - shame! I then found one of my old toys buried in the undergrowth so I tried to take it indoors. Mummy was such a spoilsport though and wouldn't let me play with it until she's washed it. It wasn't so much fun when it was clean!! Never mind, I'll soon get it muddy again! Hope you have a good day. Lots of love from Rosie xxxxx

Hi Meg, Mum ventured out on Ella again yesterday morning but made sure she didn’t have to get off anywhere along the route as she had even more clothes on – well I guess if she had fallen off she would just have bounced around on the ground – he he. I wisely stayed in front of the fire all day, apart from helping mum in the afternoon and a quick run round the fields. Now I couldn’t believe it when I first went outside this morning – the ground is all white, very strange! It looked so pretty out in Ella’s field and we made sure she had extra hay to munch on. We could see exactly where she had been during the night by following her hoof prints. Both Squeak and the little black and white cat were together in the tack room and even shared the bowl of food we put down for them. Looks like the snow is turning to slush already so won’t even get the change of having my picture taken in it – ah well better head back to bed then and let mum do some work. Leaving you pizza today. Afternoon Meg we hope you are having a lovely day it is frezzzzzzzzzing here we went for a walk over the park this morning and we saw are friends ben (the black lab) harry (the bit of everything) and chester (the manchetser terrier) i love ben i like to try and nick his ball but he doesn't let me bella had to stay on her lead though because she runs off!! chester was lovely too we had a run around but harry bless him he just does his own thing well he is 12!! :) bella played with ben but mummy kept getting tied up heeheeeee they didn't care though not done much else mummy said's we are only have 2 walks today (we normally have 3) as it is sooooooo cold we don't mind bella plays ball and i play ball too or tug and we also love to run around the garden so we burn are engery off from that now we are on the case of the full monty strippers well we reckon billy b was one of them he was trying to impress zahli you see we also think sparkey was another one is was trying to show his brother toney up of course we don't now if he did you would have to ask little mo that!! heeheeeeee :) anyway we are of to find out the other 2 yes there is two more boys hiding are they embrassed :P here is socks and some gloves to keep you warm and a number for the full monty gang just incase you feel like joining sshhhhh don't tell anybody that we have the number heeheee jenny gave it to us yes she can't help it if she loves watching men strip well we just had to see what all the fuss was about :) love and sloopy kisses and biggggg hugs to keep you warm bella and holly xxxx

Hiya, here is daddys new story as suggested by molly, little mo, trevor and buster from jackymac kennel, introducing the ds factor. This story is a combination of two talents my dads story writing, and the 2nd talent and whom it is will be revealed later, One day little Mo was tidying up as Toney had been staying over for a week, she loved him dearly but he was so messy, but Little Mo thought to herself at least he doesn’t leave his underpants on the floor like her brother Trevor does, then something on tv caught her eye, good job she had sky+ hd so she rewound it and watched it, it was only an advert but it looked rather interesting so she watched it again, the advert said “Hi I am Ted host of the ds factor - if you are one or over and think you can sing, you may have the ds factor. “If you are in a band or a solo singer and you can face the judges this is the competition for you, you could win a million bone recording contract - not as easy as you think - if you think you have the ds factor and appear on live tv, contact us on this number now for an application form” Little Mo paused the tv and ran off to get a pen and paper and wrote down the number, she thought to herself will my brothers and sisters e up for this, we are so good at karaoke and Trevor is an excellent guitarist and Buster is fab on the piano and Molly and I are great singers, Molly quickly thought to herself, yep we are all old enough, now what can we call our band, we are all dachshunds and there are four of us - I know D4 yes that is a good name, I like it so D4 it is, so she rang the number and a couple of days later the form arrived through the post, before she filled in the form she went to find her brothers and sister and told them, they were very unsure but Little Mo was trying to convince them that they are good enough. Molly said “I am the youngest and I don’t know if I have the nerve to sing on live tv” Little Mo said “Of course you have the nerve - I will be there singing with you and the boys of course, we don’t even know if we will sing on live tv, we have to audition first, then there is boot camp then we may get chosen to do the live knock out rounds” Buster said “You told us it was a singing competition not a boxing one hehe get it rounds - boxing hehe” Little Mo said “Ha ha very funny Buster” Trevor said let fate decide - I’ll go and get a coin and we will flip it and if it lands on heads we will go and if it lands on tails we will stay here agreed” They all agreed, Trevor got a coin, Little Mo was secretly hoping that it would land on heads because she knew they could do it Trevor held the coin in his paw and then he flicked it up in the air, the coin went spinning round and round, then it landed on the ground they all looked the coin had landed on………………………………............TO BE CONTINUED………………………………........... Helloooooo Meg, HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FRIEND!! Grrrrrreat to see you. I have been away for the Xmas period, and now I've returned, mummy seems to be having putor problems. She has tried in vane to update my status caption, but it just won't have it. I'm trying to let everyone know that Drift & Dash have their own kennel now [lionsden]. You can visit them there. They will be soooooo happy to see you. Mummy also met up with angel Cara's mummy [mushypea]. They had a lovely couple of hours together. Mummy could'nt take me, because Auntie Norma was on her way to work, so mummy and her met for coffee in a wine bar. Auntie Norma was upset not to have met me, but their will be other times when I go back to the North East to visit my human nana. Well must dash, I've got alot of catching up to do.
