Hello.. How was your weekend? Hope it was good. Nice weather Saturday. Some of daddy’s friends went to London for the day, so we opened the Angus dog sitting service. Bertie was here for the day, and also Harry, who is another Springer. He is 6. We had a cracking day together. We did laugh to watch daddy trying to keep us together in the park. Harry likes to wander..hehehe Yesterday was quieter, also cloudy. Well, next week I am on my holidays, tell you more about it during the week. Have a good day,, here’s some Liver and Bacon… Angus xx

Hiya all. Another cloudy sunny mixed day. Better than rain eh? Good news is last night I took the last of my pink pills.. they have all gone hooray!! I have been good and ate them when asked, and daddy gave me a little bit of cheese as a treat. Now daddy is so upset about these spiked collars being discussed in the forum. He just cant believe they are not banned and people are actually using them. He has started a petition to the PM (what’s a PM?) to have them banned. Please check these out, and judge for yourself. http://www.downtownpet.com/blog/uploaded_images/dog.prong.collar-730053.jpg and this is what it does to a doggy http://www.ipdta.org/index.2.jpg If you agree, please sign daddy’s petition, and ask your friends too. Petition - http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Cruelcollars/ Thank you all. Treats today is some yummy local Cheddar (with Cider yumm) some onion and pineapple pickle and some crackers…enjoy!

What a sad day.. after the fun of the stag and hen nights come the sad news that yet another friend has gone. Gis put up an incredible fight, and I’m sure his mummy and daddy treasured every extra moment they had together. Be at peace Gis! I’m going to have a quiet day today, you have a peaceful one too.. Take care.. Angus xx leaving you some Scottish shortbread..

Hello. Just an update for you. I took Angus to the vets yesterday, just before they closed and they did another examination and gave him pain killers. Overnight he was no better, not eating, drinking very little, and very weak. I took him back and they admitted him. First he had a blood test which had a normal result. They have him on a drip now to get some energy into him. Thank you for all your messages. It is a so nice to know that people care, I didn’t realise just how much it helps, until it happens to me. Bless you all. Malcolm (and Angus xx) Treats for the doggies today is love and kisses… some extra ones from the ones Angus has been getting…

Hi Shep, how are you, soon to be numb gum David here today. I managed to break a front tooth vertically again yesterday, it serves me right for eating broken biscuit cake straight from the fridge (I blame she who has just got back from university, I hid the cake so she wouldn't pinch it!). "That is a very crunchy biscuit" I thought until I found the gap in my tooth. I am temporarily being referred to as FANG but at least my soon-to-be visited dentist is beautiful. All is well here otherwise, glorious weather and all the doggies are enjoying life. As a treat we are sending over a bit of broken biscuit cake (if you find any very crunchy bits perhaps you could let me have them back) x

Hello. Angus is a bit poorly so I am doing his rounds today. He was sick and lethargic over the weekend, and refused to eat anything. I was quite concerned so took him to the vet this morning as soon as they opened. They saw us straight away and they think he has a gastric virus. He had two injections, one to stop him feeling and being sick, the other was an antibiotic. We have been given a course of antibiotics to give Angus too. He also has some powder to mix in his water. If he isn’t perking up today, I have to take him back tomorrow for a blood test. Thanks for all your wishes. Malcolm(Angus’ dad)

Good Morning. It is very sunny and warm here today. Angus’ photo shoot is being delayed. He was sick yesterday, in a few places, including the car and the park. He hasn’t eaten for a while either. Friday night he was ill, but last night he slept through to 7.30. he still isn’t eating, and I’m getting a bit worried about him. If he doesn’t improve today, we’re off to the vet. We are both devastated to hear abut Fluffy, and our hearts go out to the family… Leaving you some lovely chicken breast, as we are trying to tempt him with some, too.. Take care Angus, and dad xxx

Hi shep, well what a week with the insects, an entomologist's delight. Except the "spider".......well this is a bit embarrassing.......the spider wasn't quite what it seemed. You see I didn't......if you see what I mean....... I didn't actually have my glasses on (because when I take them off I cannot then see to find them again and I had taken them off and so I couldn't find them - TWIT) and the spider was something else not quite as scary but still quite scary........well actually not scary at all really........unless you are dust mite, in which case it would be very scary.......it was the duster bit off a feather duster which Mrs Davidmh had obviously left to frighten us. Well it worked. You cannot imagine the relief, in more ways than one, our garden is now flooded but not just because of all the rain. To celebrate we, the girlie gundogs, sleeping baldy and me, are sending you quite a lot of "whatever you fancy". And a bottle of pop for the humans who sent some very interesting advice!!!!! Have fun x

Hi Shep, well this was meant to be HOORAY it is good news (and a piece of sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce) but now it is HOORAY it is good news (and a piece of sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce).............. and OH NO it is bad news. The good news is that the enormous beetle has gone. The tape of Heather Mills worked like a dream, it frightened the living daylights out the beetle which was last seen heading for Heathrow, almost closely followed by us lot, the tape WAS very scary. So we were all very pleased and kissing and cuddling AND then we saw THE SPIDER! I wouldn't say the spider is big but think about the size of a saucer (a proper saucer not one of those poncy demitasse numbers) and add a bit, quite a LARGE bit. We tried the Lady McCartney tape and the Mick Jagger photograph and it was not moved, in fact it didn't move at all. What do we do now, we are all very hungry and in various stages of crossleggedness back behind this bloody sofa? If you cannot get David Attenborough at the very least is there any chance of a bucket, ideally empty?!!!!!!!! x

Hi Shep, we found a huge beetle a few days ago. Today its father has turned up! We are currently hiding behind the sofa - two brave gundogs, dobes and me - hoping it doesn't spot us. Please send help. To encourage/bribe you we are enclosing some more of my yummy homemade fudge. PS as some say that Rolling Stones are better than Beatles, could you send a Rolling Stone because it might work with beetles too. HELP.
