Hi Samson, how are you? I have had a BRILLIANT idea. I have put BRILLIANT in capitals because it REALLY is. I have two hairy gundogs who are currently moulting into their summer coats - Sarika (injured paw much better) a bit, Purdey a lot. Purdey is shedding so much hair I thought we had a new puppy the other day, in fact I had already named it before I realised it was just Purdey cast offs! So two doggies with hair to spare...and then of course there is Max, who is certainly follically challenged ie bald...and then there is me. Now I wouldn't say I was bald but I was in a bank the other day, in a queue, when I noticed the security tv was showing the queue. On the screen there was some chap and the light was reflecting off his bald bits which seemed to cover his entire head. I was just thinking who is that poor bald "person of unknown parentage" when I realised who it was. Hmmmmmmm. So I have got dogs with spare hair and I've got Max the baldy and me. Simple, collect the hair, add a bit of glue and Max and I will be new hairy men - BRILLIANT. I am just not too sure about the colours - gold and dark grey - so we are sending some tufts over with a tube of super glue. See what you think. Have fun x

Hi Samson, only had about 5 minutes for DoggySnaps yesterday as I had appointments with several Ms - not Maltesers unfortunately but Motorways, the M3, the M25 and the M23. Today's visit is about SARIKA who, as some will know, was yesterday announced as winner of the Humansnaps Laydee of the Month award for February, the Month of Lurve. I was really pleased and not a little proud and I just wanted to say thank you to all those who voted for her gorgeousness and also I wanted to compliment all the other lovely dogs who were nominated. In celebration we partied long into the night, apart from the other supermodel, Purdey, who was in disgrace, having again rolled in something that was both unmentionable and of uncertain origin but was, being typical Purdey, very smelly. Today the girls, the Laydee of the Month and Purdey (newly refragantised - nice make up word that), are delivering kisses to absolutely everyone and Max is delivering handshakes xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Oh yes, it is also DDDD30 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 30) and it was weigh day yesterday......10lbs gone now. I was chuffed about that too but not nearly as much as about my beautiful Sarika x

Hi samson, DDDD25 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 25). I have started to dream about food which strikes me as pretty sad. And yesterday, when I arrived at Sainsbury's on my morning walk, I HAD (was compelled by a force far beyond my control) to buy a TUB OF CORNISH ICECREAM.............and............A BOTTLE OF TOFFEE SAUCE...............and...............A PACKET OF CHOCOLATE RAISINS...............and...........ANOTHER PACKET OF CHOCOLATE RAISINS! I haven't touched any of it yet but I think that DDD could come under a bit of pressure this weekend! As there is great news on the dog front, Sarika, Purdey and Max all being not only well but are also clean and fragrant (which makes a change), today they are delivering a large amount of whatever you might fancy, you can choose. We hope that you and yours have an excellent weekend x

Hi Samson, DDDD23 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 23). Weigh day yesterday and I have now lost 9lbs. Yippee, had a glass of red wine last night to celebrate and, being the first alcohol since New Year's Eve, it had a quite excellent effect! I continue on with less food, no booze and lots of exercise and will soon have to step over the cracks in the pavement to avoid falling down them (yeah right!)........ The dogs are all healthy, he said touching wood, so we have got another POO story. On a walk yesterday the girls got into a wrestling match which ended, as always, with Sarika, a nominee for Ladyee of the month (votes by pm in BoviBoy kennel x) knocking Purdey over. But guess what she rolled Purdey over in, yes that's right an animal's dinner - but sadly after it had been a)consumed and b)recycled. YUK YUK YUK AND MORE YUKS!....... It was one of those walks home which were very slow, partly to avoid seeing anyone but mainly to give Mrs Davidmh the chance to get home from the stables and then I could say that I had a MANFLU relapse coming on and needed to go to bed and would she mind giving Purdelicious a little clean.........TeeeHeee. Well that plan failed because she was late so I had to do it myself and what a clean up job it was, I can still smell the smell now. EVEN MORE YUKS. Today's virtual treats are therefore with the humans in mind - the girls and doberdog are dropping off a "just in case it happens to you" treat - either a noseclip or a cold (your human's choice) and, as part of my celebration, I am dropping off the remainder of the red wine. Have fun x

Hi there Samson, I hear you`ve been digging the garden in the rain, oh its great fun! I also race round like a whirling dervish so I get mud on me legs and belly as well as stuck firmly to my paws! Mam wasnt impressed with it yesterday and I had to suffer the indignity of having me feet washed in a bucket of water :(. Todays treat is a nice big cream bun.xxx

Hi Samson, it is DDDD14 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 14) I am sure that my weight loss continues as I have noticed my watch strap is loose. We will find out tomorrow, weigh day 2. At least I have recovered from the "chilli experience" and am now sitting comfortably. More than can be said for the dogs: Sarika has had a really nasty tummy bug for a week, although she is now recovering she has passed it on to Max, so far only Purdey's cast iron constitution is resisting. Today's treat is therefore some aromatic incense sticks - if you were here you would know why they are absolutely essential. Have fun.

Hello Samson, it is DDDD7 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 7) and I find myself thinking of food and booze quite a lot of the time. It will not suprise you therefore that today the girls and doberdog are delivering a full english breakfast. I will list the constituent parts - two fried eggs, sausages, fried bread, baked beans, mushrooms, fried haggis, black pudding and bacon. YUMMMMMMMMMMMY. And, of course, a glass of a nice champers as a mouthwash. Enjoy. PS You might notice that four mouthfuls are missing....one each for the supermodels, one for doberdog and one for .................?

Hi Samson, it is DDD4 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 4) and I am feeling thoroughly fed up. In sympathy with my predicament the girls and doberdog are today delivering the last piece of Christmas cake because they know I will feel better once it has gone - it is a very considerable temptation! Just wait until I am two stone lighter - then you will see some eating!!!! Have fun.

Hello Samson, well that was a fun-packed couple of days wasn't it? I wouldn't say that I over-indulged but I am worried as to whether my legs can support the new rather-a-lot-heavier (you could say gross!) David. And who was the idiot who thought getting the dogs squeaky toys was a good idea.....oh yes ...ME! You should hear the noise - blends perfectly with a hangover......OH NO IT DOESN'T!!!!!! Anyway, and not surprisingly, today's treats are leftovers and a set of earplugs. Have fun.

Hi there Samson. My mam was annoyed yesterday, she couldn't get into DS, so we couldn't send messages n treats.(she recons the sites are busy cos the kids are now on holiday). Anyway past couple of days some blokes have been, at first I thought it was santi paws come early but oh no! they only went and stuck up this big fence! huh! now I cant get over and rummage round the spare bit, though mam thinks its great looks like I`ll have to find some other mischief now. Anyway, just in case we cant get on here, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year and hope santi paws brings you lots of lovely presents. Today I am leaving you a nice spicy sausage casserole and some mince pie and cream. xxxx
