Hello, remember us? We have told Mum she has to get her act together and get back on D.S. toot sweet. We have got some smashing pals we've met on here and we don't want to lose them. So here we are again. General news at the moment. I'm ( kc ) starting my Gold Citizen Award training next week, Mums in such a state, thinks she'll let me down. She's been taking me to a different pub every Sat lunch time, only for an hour, with her sister, just to help me relax more in strange company, well thats what she says, can't understand it, whenever they go up to that wooden wall thingy they come back with drinks, must be a well or something up there. All the same I am enjoying it, get loads of fuss made of me. Skip is very dodgy on his legs now, can't walk very far or fast, no surprise last week when a snail overtook him, he, he, sorry Skip, we'll wait for you. He can still manage to get on the settee with Dad in the evenings. Colleen......much about the same, very calm, confident and laid back, nothing phases her. Oh nearly forgot, I got best in show a couple of weeks ago, usual comments, did the judge forget his glasses, was you the only entrant, how much did Mum pay him. Just ignore them, I won fair and square, came home with 4 rosettes, 2 picture frames, loads of treats and 11 tennis balls. Love to you all, from KC Skip & Leanie.xxx

Hiya Charlie, how are you today? guess what on sunday we went to our local rspca dog show and Jack came 5th in the best veteran class for dogs aged 10 and over, just look at him with his rosette on, we also entered him in the most handsome dog class but he didn't come anywhere which he was upset about because he said he won Hunk of the Month in April so how could he not get anywhere but he soon cheered up when I gave him a biscuit and Bally was entered in the prettiest bitch class but also came nowhere and she won June's Laydee of the Month, I mean do these judges have no taste. But it was a brilliant day we all had fun, so many lovely dogs and the weather even stayed nice for us as well and of course the dogs also found lots of food to eat that all the humans had dropped, we didn't see any yellow doggysnaps badges though, wonder if many members actually have one, we don't but will try and get one soon. Bread and butter pudding and custard today xxx

Hi Charlie, well we had a great walk yesterday evening. Well, to be precise, it was great until the moment when I attached Purdey's lead. You see I hadn't noticed that she had rolled in something and I am actually not sure, on reflection, whether I noticed before or after the deer's breakfast was on my hand. And did it pong, you ask? Well, it took five washes in soapy water and treatment with tomato sauce (useless) and tomato puree (much better) to get rid of the stink....and that was just from my hand! Purdey, the gorgeous little sod, required more drastic treatment and is now, thanks to the tomato puree, a RED Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer. Sarika looked on with regal disdain at the chaos and also increased her human vocabulary somewhat, doberdog was, yes that is right, sleeping. Today we thought we had better send over some dog friendly bleach so that, if you are lucky enough to find and roll in some deer poo, you can be restored to your former glory without changing colour. Have fun x

Hi Charlie, hope you are well. We are back from our holiday in Lincolnshire and we all had a very good time, we will add some photos soon, the dogs especially enjoyed Skegness beach all that sand as it's just pebbles were we are and it was dog friendly. Now for the news on Jacks x-ray, the vet said he has a torn ligament or something in his knee and scar tissue so it wont get any better (not sure what it all means can anyone explain) and he also has artheritis in his hips so he is now on metacam for the rest of his life as it keeps the inflamation down and so relives the pain. Bubble and squeak is your treat for today xxx

Hi Charlie, how are you, its a nice warm day here but a bit overcast, its been a lazy Sunday so far, i took daddy for a walk this morning, had a little snooze & squeaked my squeaky dog, just had a huge dinner so time for another little snooze i think, tip for today, make the very most of Sunday dinners, they usually contain a bone, if you are successful with the soulful eye look, you should succeed in being given the bone, savour it at your pleasure, but if the humans give you the bone while they sit down to eat their meal, always maintain one eye on the floor beneath the table, dash towards anything that plummets towards the floor, your bone will still be there when you return. Always offer to wash up after a Sunday roast, a tongue cleans plates, cutlery & roasting tins far better than any leading brand of washing up liquid, hahahahaha, have a great day, leaving you a Sunday roast with all the trimmings, love & licks Maxy moo, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Charlie, how are you and the humans? I haven't had a dog poo moment (if you know what I mean) for a while, in fact I had hoped I had had my last such moment. WRONG. I was walking Sarika earlier. Her princessliness went off to do "what is natural". I got a nappy sack out of my pocket (every item of clothing I have with a pocket has nappy sacks in that pocket) and put my hand in the nappy sack so I could then pick up the poo, reverse the sack, tie up the handles and job done (in more ways than one!). I am not sure when I discovered that I had put my thumb through the hole in the sack tie handle. Was it when I sensed the strange feeling on my thumb or was it when I saw what had happened? And does it really matter? Ugh..Ugh..and more Ughs. After lots of wiping of my thumb on the grass I walked home holding my right hand as far away from me as possible. What hand? No, its not with me! Never seen it before! Anyway I managed to get in the house without using the thumb and several scrubbings later I think that it is finally clean. So today, not surprisingly, the girls and dobes are delivering some nappy sacks without tie handles for your humans. I am off to have another wash. Have fun x

Angus' Dad
Hello. How are you this morning? I am trying to visit as many kennels as I can, to help my dad. He is trying to get a certain type of dog collar banned. He has started up a petition. Could you please spare a moment to look at the collar, by clicking this link.. http://www.downtownpet.com/blog/uploaded_images/dog.prong.collar-730053.jpg This is the damage it can do to a dogs neck http://www.ipdta.org/index.2.jpg If you agree with my daddy, could you sign his petition by clicking here, if you hold a UK passport or resident here. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Cruelcollars/ Thank you Angus Leaving you a treat xx

Hi Charlie, I am just taking a break from the packing (we are off to Dorset for a couple of days in search of the elusive salmon). Outside it is a grey day here but inside it is mocha latte ice cream coloured, well the kitchen is. I think that I might have overfilled the ice cream maker. At least licking it straight from the walls saves on the washing up and at least it is absolutely scrumptious. So the girlies (who are currently asleep beside me as I type and are, judging by their movements, dreaming of things they chased yesterday), me and Max, if I can drag him away from the newspaper, are dropping off some of the new ice cream, fresh from the walls. Back soon, have fun x

Hello the Gogeous Charlie Choc , Long time no news . Hope you and your family are well and enjoying this super weather . So sorry we haven't been around lately, holidays and the lovely weather are to blame. ( and we aint complaining ) We have all been out and about a lot too and it has been great . Mum is usually busy in the garden at other times so we get Bertie to pinch her gloves and things and help by digging a few extra holes , she has to stop then , we are hinting to go to the river just one more time please , it usually works . Sending along a box BIG bonios for you and your mates to chomp , with love and hugs from Buffy Erin and Bertie xxx

Hi Charlie, sorry I'm a bit late tonight, what a bloomin day, first we had a power cut then when mummy could finally get on here she had problems with the Internet, well there was lots of foreign language & steam coming out of mummy's ears but things are ok now thank goodness. Well i think some tips on scoffing might be in order today Some humans will attempt to feed you just once a day, pester them persistently for breakfast, lunch, dinner & supper, in-between snacks should always be requested at frequent intervals. Sunday roasts have more ingredients than most other meals during the week, statistically then, Sundays are the best days for your human to drop something inadvertently on the kitchen floor, do not leave the kitchen at all on a Sunday morning, hahahaha, i hope this comes in handy, i got you lamb chops today, with mashed potatoes, peas & gravy & strawberry trifle for afters, love & licks Maxy moo, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Charlie, how are you, i still cant get over dear Gis, its so sad & i really miss him, he would have loved this tip today, well its a lovely sunny day & mummys been wearing her sunglasses, its possible to get canine sunglasses, so you & your human can chill out together & try to look alluring to the opposite sex, condition your human into letting you wear them on a regular basis to get used to them, sunglasses create the perfect excuse - you wont be able to see the mess you're getting yourself into, hahahaha, guess what I'm leaving you today ..... sunglasses to look cool, love & licks Maxy moo, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Charlie, a quick visit today because I have two girlie gundogs standing by the front door with their "it is time to go and meet and greet, hunt, chase, sniff and roll in" faces on ie it is WALKIES time. I am also about to churn some more ice cream (chocolate and chilli?). Heaven knows what my cholesterol level is...... and if I carry on eating the ice cream I will probably be able to ask St Peter at the gates and find out!!!!! Anyway on our way out we are delivering an ice cream cone, we will be back later this week with the filling. x

Hi Charlie, you should have seen the mess. I got back late last night to find that my canine bosses had decided to experiment with my ice cream maker. It took several hours to get the kitchen back to something like a proper order. However those who must be worshipped have insisted that I deliver their concoctions. So from Sarika we have "champagne and rosewater" ice cream, from Purdey we have "vanilla and sweet cinnamon" ice cream and from Max we have "duvet and blanket" sorbet. The ONLY problem is that all three have been mixed in the same bowl so it looks, tastes and smells a bit odd. I am sure that you will work it out though so enjoy and have a great weekend. PS Only joking about Max's, he actually made tomato and basil sorbet. x

Hi charlie, how are you, soon to be numb gum David here today. I managed to break a front tooth vertically again yesterday, it serves me right for eating broken biscuit cake straight from the fridge (I blame she who has just got back from university, I hid the cake so she wouldn't pinch it!). "That is a very crunchy biscuit" I thought until I found the gap in my tooth. I am temporarily being referred to as FANG but at least my soon-to-be visited dentist is beautiful. All is well here otherwise, glorious weather and all the doggies are enjoying life. As a treat we are sending over a bit of broken biscuit cake (if you find any very crunchy bits perhaps you could let me have them back) x

Hi Charlie, is it me or, at the moment, does every new month on DoggySnaps seems to bring some new sadness? So today no funnies from the strange world of Davidmh, we are simply visiting as we wanted to say hello and also to send a virtual cuddle to all our friends x
