Afternoon Millie. Hope you are well today. It's a very wet and very miserable day here. Mum said she has never known rain like it. It briefly stopped this morning, so off mum and I went on our hike. I was very reluctant to go as I knew we would get drenched. Sure enough, we got half way round and the rain started again. Mum and I were soaked! Everywhere is flooded, and the building work going on in my park is a total washout! There are rivers of water and mud flowing everywhere! The workmen will not be happy on Monday morning! Hehe! Afternoon Millie. Hope all is well where you are today! No rain today, and I am pleased to say we have sunshine and brilliant blue skies. Certainly makes a change from all the torrential rain. I had a lovely long walk with mum this morning, and decided to chase a seagull. Well, it was making a funny noise at me and was just asking to be chased, so I had to do as I was asked, didn't I? Hehe! Spoilsport mum shouted me back, and I came running back to her looking absolutely filthy, but very happy with myself! Mum has spoken to my Nana (Katie's mum), and Katie is feeling a lot better today. She is still taking her pills, and is almost back to her normal self. She gave us all a scare, but, thankfully, the pills are working and is looking a lot happier and healthier. Take care my friend, and treat today is sausage, beans and chips. Afternoon Millie. Hope all is well where you are. A wet and miserable day here. It has been raining all day so far, so I am looking very fluffy after my morning wander! I may get a reprieve this afternoon, as mum said the rain is too heavy for me to go out in. I translated that to mean mum doesn't want to get soaked, so we are in for the rest of the day! Hey Millie i'm so glad its nearly the weekend as i have been so busy! We went to the v*ts and asked for some sedatives for the 6hour journeys down to cornwall he said it was best if we did a test run to make sure they don't give me any nasty side effects so on monday mum sneakly hid the tablets in my breakfast (otherwise i wouln't eat them) and for the rest of the morning i was very sleepy, mum said i looked very funny because my eyes were droopy and when i went to bark at the postman i fell over and couln't get back to my bed so mum had to support me, hehe! Now i won't eat my breakfast because i keep thinking there will be sedatives in it and it doesn't help that i'm on antibiotics for a dodgy digestive system so mum is having a real problem getting me to eat them. Mums a bit worried as it is not like me to refused food!!! Todays treat is a pork pie, enjoy! Have a good weekend lots of love from Badger x x x x x x

Afternoon Millie. Hope you are well today. It's another funny day here. This morning was beautiful. I had a mad five minute run around on the playing field, and tired myself out so much, I needed a lie down. I quite surprised myself actually! This afternoon, we have rain - again!! Afternoon Millie. Hope all is well with you. It's a funny day here today. The sky is jet black but it is so warm. A rainstorm is coming, mum said! I had a strange early morning wander too. I was quite happily plodding away in front of mum, when I turned a corner and came to a dead halt. I was nose to knee with a huge horse. Mum grabbed my collar as I was going to have a sniff, but the horse made a funny noise at me and made me jump. Mum just laughed and asked the rider if he had spare black sacks for it's poop!! Silly mum! The rider agreed, had a good laugh, said goodbye to me and told the horse to trot on! A bit of excitement for me this morning, then. Hehe! Afternoon Millie. Hope you are well today. It's a weird day here, weather wise. Mum did a load of washing this morning and pegged it out! Got indoors and the Heavens opened. About a half hour later, beautiful blue sky, so out the washing went again, only for it to start raining - again!! Mum brought it back in and shouted something French at the sky. Hehe! Hi Millie how are you doing? It was another really hot day again yesterday, not quite as bad as that nice sea breeze came along lunchtime and cooled things down a bit – everybody seems to have rain and wind except us but we always seem to miss most of the bad weather here on the east coast. A very hot and sticky night and this morning is even hotter – feels like there is no air out there so will retire to my spot under the fan to recover after our morning walk. Leaving you pizza today. Evening Millie. Hope you have had a great day and managed to stay cool. It has been another hot day here today too. I lay in the garden for all of ten minutes, then being my most dramatic self, staggered in and flung myself on the cool kitchen floor. Hi millie, i am trying to keep to my promise of writing more, my family are out in the garden enjoying the sunshine but i am under the kitchen table as it is the coolest place at the moment !
