In loving memory
Trixie, Hearing Dog for Deaf People

My beloved Chinese Crested cross Japanese Chin girl who died sadly on 18 June 2005 and is still missed very much. She was my world and I was hers. Waiting till we meet at Rainbow Bridge. The loss is unbearable because you were such a joy to have and gave joy to so many.

Dear best friend, You'll never guess how beautiful, Oh Rainbow Ridge is near. Just through this field of flowers, the air so fresh and clear. I hear the sound of many dogs and it make me run so fast. I know I won't be the first one there and I surly won't be last. I looked back and saw you, I hope you'll be ok. You looked so sad without me but really I want to stay. I feel just like a puppy with wings upon my feet. I am headed to doggy heaven and these wings won't miss a beat. I will stay at rainbow Ridge till all your days are thru Playing with my friends but still thinking about you. Since being dogs best friend is not a sin. we will be together again here .... as Doggie Heaven will let you in! Much love, Your dog Trixie

Just had this poem sent to me and thought I'd share it with you. I got to the gate of heaven today, after we said goodbye. I began to miss you terribly, because I heard you cry. Suddenly there was an angel, and she asked me to enter Heaven's gate. I asked her if I could stay outside for someone who would be late. I wouldn't make much noise you see, I wouldn't bark or howl. I'll only wait here patiently and play with my tennis ball. The angel said I could stay right here and wait for you to come. Because Heaven just wouldn't be Heaven if I went in alone. So I'll wait right here, you take your time, but keep me in your heart. Because Heaven just wouldn't be Heaven without you to warm my heart. Author Unknown

So sorry for your loss, I know just how you feel. I had my first Crested in 1979 and when she died part of me died also. So pleased to hear how she helped you. One of my puppies`"Casper" went to train as a hearing dog for the deaf. I'm sure Amos will give you lots of pleasure too. I'll come back again to meet him. Please accept a tribute for the beautiful Trixie.

Dear Deafdoggy. My Cleo is also a Hairless Chinese Crested crossed with a Maltese. She is the sweetest little thing. I love her so much and dread the day I lose her. I feel your loss. I do believe that God will reunite us with those we loved the most and you and Trixie will be together again, and then you will hear her sing. (Some Cresties do you know). Give Amos a hug for me - xx Cleo's Mom
