Helloooooo Lucy, HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FRIEND!! Grrrrrreat to see you. I have been away for the Xmas period, and now I've returned, mummy seems to be having putor problems. She has tried in vane to update my status caption, but it just won't have it. I'm trying to let everyone know that Drift & Dash have their own kennel now [lionsden]. You can visit them there. They will be soooooo happy to see you. Mummy also met up with angel Cara's mummy [mushypea]. They had a lovely couple of hours together. Mummy could'nt take me, because Auntie Norma was on her way to work, so mummy and her met for coffee in a wine bar. Auntie Norma was upset not to have met me, but their will be other times when I go back to the North East to visit my human nana. Well must dash, I've got alot of catching up to do. Leaving you a bowl of mummy's broth and dumplings. Love, licks and cuddles Poppy xxxxx

Hiya Lucy, well I'm all ready for the Lapland Wedding. I've never been to Lapland before. Do you think we will get a sneaky peek at Santa Paws too??? I wonder, if we will see any reindeer, maybe not Rudolph, Blitzen, Donna and Vixen, but the forest reindeer who live there. Gosh I'm all excited. I'm going to leave you with a snowball surprise? Hi Lucy, Sunday 14 December is Sarika’s third birthday. It is nearly three years since this gorgeous zany girlie gundog came in to my life and what a wonderful impact she has had. After today I will not have the time for kennel visits until next week so today we are delivering birthday cake and a bottle of pop so you can all enjoy them for breakfast on Sunday. Have fun. And finally... A poodle and a collie were walking down the street. The poodle turned to the collie and complained, "My life is a mess. My owner is mean, my girlfriend is having an affair with a German shepherd, and I'm nervous as a cat." "Why don't you go see a psychiatrist?" asked the collie. "I can't," replied the poodle. "I'm not allowed on the couch. x

Hellooooo my lovely friend Lucy, how are you today.Sooooo sorry for my absence, but mummy has been really busy and doesn't seem to be able to get round all my poochie pals. Well it's the weekend again yippeeeeee!!! Mummy will spoil me as usual, because I have her all to myself again. Although she is doing quite alot of Xmas shopping at the weekends now running up to Xmas, because it's the only time she can do it, and on occasions she has taken me with her, and carries me in my pink Carrier Home so I don't get trodden on. I can see out and watch everyone as well, and on top of that everyone stops to give me a little pet and stroke which I enjoy, because I just love people and being made a fuss of hee hee hee. Well I shall leave you a glass of Sherry because mummy is having one right now as she types up my message's to all my poochie pals. Hi Lucy, tip to self(1)....be more careful when lifting and turning with a full bucket of water. No, I didn’t spill it on the floor, in fact I rather wish I had....instead I have ended up with a prolapsed disc in my lower spine. And yes, it was OUCH (amongst other words) then, OUCH now and OUCH for some time to come. At least the doggies are all “in the pink”...well, actually the girlie gundogs, the Princessliness Sarika and Purdey the Poomonster, are in the not surprisingly MUD COLOURED BROWN (the paths and tracks round here being filthy at the moment) and Max, well Max is in a bed which I suppose could be pink but is actually BLUE. Anyway they join their injured slave in sending their regards. And finally, one for the anglers.....Two parrots are sitting on a perch. One turns to the other and says "Can you smell fish?" xx

Hi there Lucy, how are you today?? Well once again the weekend has arrived yippppeeee!!!! Mummy came home early this afternoon, so I have had an extra long walk. At one point I had a scare mummy saw this Whippet coming at me and called me to her, but I spotted the dog running at me so I went the other way and just kept going. It became apparent when the doggy run up to my mummy that she knew the dog, that's when I stopped running to turn back and realised it was Piper our friend. Silly me. I have been mistaken for a rabbit before now, but that's another story. Leaving you scampi and chips my friend. Licks and cuddles Poppy and woofs and wags from my cousins Drift and Dash xxxxxx

Hellooooo my friend Lucy, I'm sooooooo sorry for my absence, but i'm here now and I'm soooooo happy to see you again. Well I went for my lovely walk to the beach this morning. It wasn't as bright as yesterday, but it was dry and surprisingly mild. The down side of it was "true to her word" mummy stuck me in the bath. After the bath I have a "daft half hour" as mummy calls it. I run round the house like a demented pooch, but I thinks it's fun because mum joins in too hee hee hee. Well got to go and visit all my other poochie pals. We're leaving you some cockels and whelks what mummy and daddy had at the beach. See you tomorrow Licks, sniffs and cuddles Poppy and my cousins Drift and Dash xxxxxxx

Hi Lucy, today a tip for the humans. If you decide to ponce yourself up a bit with a quick squirt of Armani Code (men’s version, he added quickly!!!)....well you never know who you might meet on a “walkies”, it could be one of those SIMPLY GORGEOUS LADIES FROM DOGGYSNAPS.....anyway, to continue....make sure that the NOZZLE is not pointing at your eye. Because BLOODY HELL, ARMANI CODE STINGS!!!! (Note to self....must wear glasses when applying aftershave). TYPICALLY the girlie gundogs and dobes, who are all fine, were no support to their aged human slave in his time of need but were seen sniggering behind their paws at his pain and, in particular, his use of the English language! So it is love to you lot from them and the currently partly blind but actually now also very fragrant me. X

Hi Lucy, I'm back on line, but for how long "who Knows"???? Grrrrreat to see you. I really do miss my poochie pals when I can't get on the doggy playground. Mummy took me for the most longest walk ever this morning. We were gone for three and a half hours. Daddy thought we had left home. hee hee!! It is soooooo sunny here and surprisingly warm we just lost track of time walking through the woods. It was a real barking walk. Now I'm lying at mummys feet while she types up my messages to all my furry friends. Leaving you some roast beef and yorkshire pudds, with gravy of course. Woofs, wags and cuddles Poppy xxxxx

Hi Lucy, so there was this pile of deer poo. First the golden sand coloured hairy east European girlie gundog, she of royal lineage, looked at it, sniffed it and then decided that the leaves fluttering in the wind were of much greater interest. Then the silver grey coloured hairy east European girlie gundog looked at it and sniffed it AND then decided that the leaves were more interesting too. PHEW went the aged human, rather smugly, knowing that Mrs Davidmh was at the stables so any “stinky” washing and “desmelling with tomato sauce” duties would be down to him. He started to whistle. So engrossed in his whistling was he (it was a complicated tune with REQUIRED changes of key AND descants – the aged human interestingly being very good at them when they are NOT REQUIRED but not so when they ARE) that he failed to notice the silver grey one doubling back until it was too late. He turned around just in time to see her, all four legs in the air, actually wriggling her back in the aforementioned deer poo.......next time I had better stick to easier whistling, Young Folks or Colonel Bogey! AND BY POPULAR REQUEST... A pair of cows were talking in the field. One says, "Have you heard about that mad cow disease that's going around?" "Yeah," the other cow says. "Makes me glad I'm a penguin."

Hi Lucy, well mummy has got today off and Monday, as she has to take daddy into hospital. He is having an operation today and he has been told it will be very painfull when he comes home. Mummy's not the best of nurses, when it comes to her own family, she'll be the one they pick up off the floor hahahahaha. She is soooooo squeamish. Well I'll leave you with some hospital food yuk yuk. See you tomorrow Love Princess Poppy xxxx
