Hi Nokomis I'm Tasha, and I'm a 10 month old Lhasa Apso. I live with my mummy, daddy and my older sisters Sarah(12) and Lucy (11) in Liverpool. I love my family too <3 My family are incredibly special. Hey, how come you hate baths? I used to hate them, but that was like my first two. I don't mind them any more. They're alright. My favourite toy is my small, soft green and white rope. I play tuggy with my family with this rope and chew it, and play with it. In the garden, I love playing with my green ball. It isn't like a tennis ball or anything though - it's made out of this weird plastic that I can't bite. I can't grab hold of it so I end up playing football with it with my paws and trying to grab hold of it with my mouth, which never works out for me, and it ends up flying around everywhere, which is when I chase it, and the cycle starts all over again! At our nannie and grandad's, I enjoy playing with my lilac teddy bear. I play tuggy with my family with the teddy and fetch. I play fetch with all my toys! Your favourite food is doggy chocolate drops? I've never tried them. For my breakfast and tea I have Pets at Home Supermeat Pate Puppy. They get a 9-pack which has 3 Chicken and Sunflower Oil, 3 Lamb and Rice and 3 Beef and Heart. It's so scrumptious :) Because I'm a full pedigree, when I have my training sessions, whoever is training me has the packet of Pedigree Training Treats with them. The training treats are only 2 calories per treat, and are cheese and meat flavour. I eat them in like a second as well so I can get straight on with my training again. They're small and tasty which means they're a great reward when I do well and quick so I can get straight on with my training. When the session is over, whoever is training me gives me one of the Pedigree Markies. Yum yum! Also, a random occasional treat is the Chew It Club Roll in a random colour. Also, when my mouth is bad with my teething (my adult teeth are coming through now), one of my family gives me one of the Pedigree Denta Stix. My favourite place is my home. It's where me and my family live <3 I met my family when I was 7 weeks old. My family saw an ad at the Pets at Home store and went to see me that day. I was one of four Lhasas - my biological brother and my two biological sisters. They loved me so much, they bought all my new things the next day and picked me up - I was so happy!! I'm very chilled. I'm not hyperactive, I don't have any behavourial problems. When I don't expect anybody to be coming to the door, I bark at them from inside the house and growl. But when they come in and I see who it is, and if it's someone I know, then I come rushing down the stairs and start licking their faces and jumping up at them, wanting a fuss! If it isn't, I bark and growl at them. That has never happened before, and it's only if they actually enter the house. If they stay outside, then I'm alright. Anyway, must dash. Here's one of my training treats - you have to be very lucky to get one of them off me!! I'd love to be online doggy friends. Feel free to drop by anytime. Tasha x

THE JOYS OF DOG OWNERSHIP....CHAPTER 37. What is it about me and dog poo? If I pick up a poo covered stick it is always the wrong end, if I throw away a clearing up stick after use Sarika brings it back, wiping the wrong end on my trousers. It seems to follow me around whatever I do. Perhaps, like Purdey, I should confont it head on and roll in it? On the other hand, perhaps not. Yesterday the girls were in the garden - currently not under water, HOORAY. One of them did a poo - I will not say which one because she, being a princess, is normally above such things. So I got a nappy sack out of my pocket - do you know that, whatever I am wearing, I always have nappy sacks in a pocket, even my dressing gown. What is that all about? Anyway, I digress - I got the nappy sack and a shovel and put the poo into the sack...........It is difficult to remember exactly when I noticed that the nappy sack had a large hole in it. I really cannot remember whether it was before or after I noticed that a load of dog poo had gone straight through the nappy sack and had landed on my sock and slipper. Sadly they were both on my foot at the time!......I did not know that I knew some of the words that came out of my mouth at that moment. I do not normally drink alcohol before the evening, yesterday I made an exception by several hours. In sympathy with my plight and still working on "be prepared" the girls and doberdog are today sending over a clean pair of socks and some washing powder and, practical as always, a cork. Hmmmmm. I will leave you to work out what to do with the cork but will give you a couple of clues....a) dog and b) its bottom. Have fun x

My mother's illness has meant that I have had no time to do a treating tour for nearly a fortnight. Today's visit coincides with the wonderful news that she is definitely improving, still a way to go but it is a start. And now...the dogs are all well, Purdey very quickly making a 100% recovery from her spay operation. However she was not in my good books yesterday as she, a ball point pen and a fawn carpet had a "coming together". Sarika is, as always, a princess and Max is quite clearly enjoying touring the kitchen in his bed - a now daily occurence thanks to the girls. As for Rodney/Roberta the snail....did you know that snail slime is so thick that a snail can cross a razor blade without getting hurt? Well, personally, I think that might depend upon who is holding the razor - bring it on Rodders! Today's treat is some of my smoked salmon followed by key lime pie. Enjoy.

Hi. Just rung the vet and Purdey's operation went well and she has come round after the anaesthetic. PHEW. Bit of a tearful moment that was. Collecting her at 5pm. And now back to the usual stuff......You might have read the thread started by Spinrule in The Lampost about the new cosmetic product - snail slime gel. Well after quite a bit of effort I have managed to collect some from Rodney the snail (who is still answering to the name Roberta, the little ...!) and this is today's treat from the girls and doberdog. Use sparingly because there isn't that much but it might get rid of a wrink! Oh and I've added a piece of rump steak too. Enjoy.

Hi, today's story is titled THE LIFE OF A TENNIS BALL. Hello, I am an orange tennis ball called Federer. I have just been purchased by a human with one of those sling thingys that means he can throw me further for his dogs to chase. We are in the field to practice before he brings the dogs. I am in the sling and he has thrown me, goodness he does not know his own strength. I am going so high a jumbo jet pilot has just waved at me. And now I am falling...falling..falling..and now I am going to hit the ground..BOUNCE.. Weee.. and now I am going up high again..Hello Mr Pilot..and now down..BOUNCE and up..and down..BOUNCE .. what is that noise?..Oh it is a machine...Oh I am going towards it...Oh it is a tractor....Oh dear I am heading for its whe.......POP. THE END. Well that was a great start to the day! Not surprisingly, today's treat from the girls and doberdog is a glass of orange squash and an orange tennis ball, slightly squashed. Have fun.

Hi. Well that was a great couple of days - NOT. First I have to deal with the issue of Rodney the snail who, despite counselling, still refuses to answer to any name other than Roberta. The words "garlic" and "butter" are coming to mind. And now we have the stick incident. Walking the girls this morning in the woods and chanced upon a dog poo on one of the tracks. Picked up a stick and flicked the particularly runny errant poo off the track. Threw stick into the woods. Suddenly there was a flash of ginger (well, russet gold) as Sarika flashed by into the woods, retrieved the stick and brought it back very proudly. That was fine, but as she donated it to me guess which end brushed against my trousers? Go on, guess! In sympathy for my predicament today's treat on behalf of the girls and doberdog is some Vanish stain removing spray.......Oh, alright then...and a fillet steak. Oops, got to go as Purdey has decided to improve her linguistic skills by eating a French/English dictionary. Have fun.

Not on here yesterday as had to nip over to Paris (tough life!), which, considering my Sunday, was highly appropriate. I ended up catching 87 froglets - yes I know I am a saddo for counting - all of which are now resident in an area with a stream. The dogs are all fine although I have just booked Purdey in for her spay (Monday July 23rd) - Eek, something else to worry about. She, doberdog and the world champion (unofficial) are sending you a chinese meal from our local takeaway as a treat - one portion of number 42, one of number 50, one of number 27, one of number 88 and, of course, one of number 57. I guess you will make of it what you will!!!! Enjoy. PS RODNEY THE SNAIL IS BACK. At least I think it Rodney, Sarika clearly wanted to kiss him - well, I think it was a kiss she had in mind!

Hi Noki. The question is "wherefore art thou, Rodney". I put the snail out last night for his pre-bedtime ablutions and he disappeared. I sent Sarika out to find him but she went into slug catching mode, showing World Championship (unofficial) form. Which begs the question "where do slugs go during the day?". Is there a sluggery somewhere for which I should be looking? Anyway, I digress. Today's treat, purely coincidentally I hasten to add (He He), is one escargot in garlic butter. For those who don't like snails the alternative is some of my salmon, which I have just had smoked, with brown bread, capers, black pepper and lemon. For the humans I am sending a tube of Anthisan. If you had seen the mosquito I just saw you would know why - it was large enough to need a navigator! Enjoy. PS It is starting to look like medication is not the answer!!!

Hi Noki. After all the excitement of the weekend it is a quiet day today. So we will concentrate on the food. Today's treat starter is courgette soup with garlic and blue cheese. The main course is salmon en croute and for pudd, the classic lemon meringue pie. Enjoy. Oh yes, and for the humans......our world champion (unofficial) Sarika has just brought in a snail. I suppose they could either eat it or keep it as a pet. It answers to the name Rodney. PS If anyone has a clue what I am going on about then perhaps they could let my doctor know!
