UPDATE ON CASSIE. Thanks everyone for your lovely comments, sorry I haven't been able to visit all of you. Amazingly Cassie celebrated her 17th birthday at the beginning of the month - matching the age achieved by the oldest recorded Dal certified by Guinness - the Book of Records not the drink! Then out of the blue yesterday she suffered a stroke - 4 years to the day that Basil became ill. It's a wait and see situation at the moment with our vet quite positive that she'll recover and me dreading the decision I may have to make if she doesn't. Please keep Cassie in your thoughts - and give your own faithful friends an extra kiss tonight just in case you don't get another chance.
