it's not the best photo but it's our only one. Trixie was actually around before me but i think she is still gorgeous ( because of the photo and the way dad describes her). i wish i saw her, but i still love and treasure her very much!!

Dear Lord, please open your gates and call St. Francis to come escort this beloved companion across the Rainbow Bridge. Assign them to a place of honor, for they have been a faithful servant and has always done there best to please me. Bless the hands that send them to you, for they are doing so in love and compassion, freeing them from pain and suffering. Grant me the strength not to dwell on my loss. Help me remember the details of there life with the love they have shown me. And grant me the courage to honor them by sharing those memories with others. Let them remember me as well and let them know that I will always love them And when it's my time to pass over into your paradise, please allow them to accompany those who will bring me home. In Doggy heaven there is no cold, the sun is warm and a soft breeze blows. The grass is green and the days are long and I have no aches or woes. I have treats and bones and balls to chase and many friends that play. There's even sand and sea and a shady tree, a place where I can lay. I may be gone but as time goes on think of me with pride. And you know I would if I could, I'd still be by your side. When you think of me those memories float right up here to me. They look like butterflies and rainbows right here for me to see. I will watch over you and you will always know I am near. And you know I would if I could, I'd lick away that tear.
