Hi Erin, what a lovely weekend, perhaps THAT was our long awaited summer? We walked up the Thames a couple of times and much fun was had by all....well, except perhaps for the duck which Purdey chased.....or the tennis ball which Sarika managed to sink.... it is a tough life being a tennis ball round here! The weekend’s big news was that Sarika and Purdey found a new friend who we are calling Tommy (pic in kennel if you can get there!). Max hasn’t met Tommy (who might even be a prince, who knows) because dobes opted for sleep rather than exercise. Because of Tommy the girlies are sending over a HALL.....Purdey wanted to send mouthwash too but that is her problem, serves her right for picking up Tommy with her mouth......all will become obvious, hopefully. Have fun x

Hi Erin, some people say that you shouldn’t NAME and SHAME unpleasant behaviour on DoggySnaps. Well, I am going to make an exception to the rule because, quite frankly, enough is enough........The NAME is.....PURDEY...............THE SHAME is.....FOX POO. Now I guess that some people probably think I exaggerate Purdey’s prideliction for recycled animal dinners.....well, this time the gorgeous little sod has got her comeuppance because I took a photograph of her in her fox poo finery and I have put it in her kennel for all her friends and supporters to see. Serves her right. The clean and fragrant ones, Princessliness Sarika and His Baldiness, are dropping off virtual photos of themselves.....”unpooed” they said somewhat smugly! Have fun x PS New new computer still working, PHEW.

Hi Erin, how are you? This is our first DS visit for a while because I’ve simply got fed up with my continuing difficulty in getting into my kennel. Everything is fine here, Her Princessliness remains just that and dobes is asleep. Today’s treat is practical and necessary, a bottle of eau de dogogne.....VERY necessary in our case as our sensational news is that Purdey is no longer THE POOMONSTER, she is now THE STINKMONSTER. She has stopped rolling in recycled animal dinners (no doubt aware that a BATH will result) and has now taken up rolling in places where there are just strong smells (and, yes, I know what that could be!). You can imagine the scenario.......she comes running out of the fields and she is not covered in poo.......PHEW .......which rapidly changes to COR, WHAT IS THAT EFFING STINK as she gets closer. More baths await, methinks. I daren’t change her name on here however as, if I do, it will probably take me even longer to get into my kennel! Have a good day x

*Sniff Sniff* Oh! Hello! It’s Breeze. Just a quick visit today as Mum has lots to do! She’s going on holiday tomorrow for just over a week (until the 27th) to a place called Devon. We’ll be left to stay with Grandma which will be great fun because she spoils us rotten! I have some great news to inform you of, we met Honey yesterday (Mum told you about the visit she’d arranged) & me & her got on brilliantly. I think I’ve found true love! We were standing together watching the cats run around - heaven! It was great fun! Lottie seemed to like her too which is great. Although, because she’s past playing so much, Lottie likes anyone that just lets her do her own thing. We have to have our homed checked first because it’s procedure but everybody has told Mum they can’t see a problem because she can cope with me!! The women doing the home check, funnily enough, owns a greyhound cross - Which turns out to be Honey’s long lost older sister! She is hopefully moving in around the 7th of Aug because she needs that dreaded operation first (spaying). Mind you, I know I love to play, but I couldn’t cope with a litter of eight play things! We will keep you updated. As we won’t be seeing you for a week or so we’re leaving you an umbrella (either to keep you cool in the heat or to keep you dry in the wet!!), a squeaky ball, a fresh bowl of water & a lamb chop. Enjoy! Waggs & Woofs; Breeze ♥ Tess ♥ Lottie ♥

Hi Erin, well we had a great walk yesterday evening. Well, to be precise, it was great until the moment when I attached Purdey's lead. You see I hadn't noticed that she had rolled in something and I am actually not sure, on reflection, whether I noticed before or after the deer's breakfast was on my hand. And did it pong, you ask? Well, it took five washes in soapy water and treatment with tomato sauce (useless) and tomato puree (much better) to get rid of the stink....and that was just from my hand! Purdey, the gorgeous little sod, required more drastic treatment and is now, thanks to the tomato puree, a RED Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer. Sarika looked on with regal disdain at the chaos and also increased her human vocabulary somewhat, doberdog was, yes that is right, sleeping. Today we thought we had better send over some dog friendly bleach so that, if you are lucky enough to find and roll in some deer poo, you can be restored to your former glory without changing colour. Have fun x

Hello. It‘s me, Lottie. Sorry we haven’t been into your kennel for a while. Mum & Dad have been a little busy recently. The weather is really miserable. We’ve only managed the odd walk around the block in between the down pours! We had thunder storms the other day that lasted for half an hour. Breeze was scared lifeless! He was shaking, dribbling & panting. He hates thunder & fireworks or anything with an unusual bang. It doesn’t faze me or Tess. Mum has some sedative tablets for him encase he gets really bad & starts fitting. We have some exciting news for you! We are off to visit a doggy friend on Wednesday, next week, who needs a home. She’s a greyhound cross & we are going to see if we can all get along as a family. If we do, she will be coming home with us! It’ll be great for Breeze as I’m getting a little bit old now to be entertaining the youngsters! We will keep you informed with what happens. We’re leaving you a mix of chicken & original gravy bones to nibble on. Waggs & Woofs; Lottie ♥ Tess ♥ Breeze ♥

Hi Erin, a quick visit today because I have two girlie gundogs standing by the front door with their "it is time to go and meet and greet, hunt, chase, sniff and roll in" faces on ie it is WALKIES time. I am also about to churn some more ice cream (chocolate and chilli?). Heaven knows what my cholesterol level is...... and if I carry on eating the ice cream I will probably be able to ask St Peter at the gates and find out!!!!! Anyway on our way out we are delivering an ice cream cone, we will be back later this week with the filling. x

Hi Erin, is it me or, at the moment, does every new month on DoggySnaps seems to bring some new sadness? So today no funnies from the strange world of Davidmh, we are simply visiting as we wanted to say hello and also to send a virtual cuddle to all our friends x
