What a beautiful and knowing face Misty had. Am so glad you found each other even though 6 years dosent seem like long, they mean lots & will stay with you forever. Hope that the good times you spent together will eventually comfort you enough to forget the sadness a bit. Lots of love, Scooter & Julie. xxxxxxx
Hi how are u all doing at the mo, not looking forward to xmas, very upsetting havin to do cards without spices name on. Hope u are feeling better than me but it is hard trying to appear cheerfull for people. x
They will not go quietly,
the dogs who've shared our lives.
In subtle ways they let us know
their spirit still survives.
Old habits still make us think
we hear a barking at the door.
Or step back when we drop
a tasty morsel on the floor.
Our feet still go around the place
the food dish used to be,
And, sometime,
coming home at night,
we miss them terribly.
And although time may bring
new friends
and a new food dish to fill,
That one place in our hearts
belongs to them...
and always will.
Hi thanks for ur reply,Misty is gorgeous i love her hair style so sorry she has gone,do u think havin the other dogs helps you move on? I haven't got another dog except my mums 16yr old greyhound & as lovely as she is she does spend most of the day sleeping! I dont feel like a want another dog at the mo of my own but am goin to foster a dog that is boarding while his owner is ill. This way i will have a dog to care for but not to replace Spice- which obviously i cud never do anyway. Hope u are feelin better i know that i still feel sick everyday cus i miss Spice so much. Thinkin of u Misty.x
