Hi Charlie, how are you? This is our first DS visit for a while because I’ve simply got fed up with my continuing difficulty in getting into my kennel. Everything is fine here, Her Princessliness remains just that and dobes is asleep. Today’s treat is practical and necessary, a bottle of eau de dogogne.....VERY necessary in our case as our sensational news is that Purdey is no longer THE POOMONSTER, she is now THE STINKMONSTER. She has stopped rolling in recycled animal dinners (no doubt aware that a BATH will result) and has now taken up rolling in places where there are just strong smells (and, yes, I know what that could be!). You can imagine the scenario.......she comes running out of the fields and she is not covered in poo.......PHEW .......which rapidly changes to COR, WHAT IS THAT EFFING STINK as she gets closer. More baths await, methinks. I daren’t change her name on here however as, if I do, it will probably take me even longer to get into my kennel! Have a good day x

Hi Charlie, Karla here as Belle is hiding under the dinner table sulking. Mum has got out the BIG bags out and she doesn’t like it one bit. I’ve told her not to worry as we can work on human sis for extra walks & treats while mum & dad are away but thre seems no consoling her. Mum’s not a lot better either she really, really hates flying and all the scareyplane incidents that have happened of late are not helping at all. I’ve six days to work on a really sad expression to use on human sis. Hope you are feeling better . Leaving a treat for you, waggy tails Karla & Belle

Hello again Amanda and Charlie, Romany here. Ever since I arrived here Mam has wanted to call me 'Romany Ree' but she doesn't know quite why. So she keyed it in to the search thingy on the computer, and apparently the 'Romany Ree' is an old traditional Scottish dance. It's also an old fisherman's fly-tying technique (the'Romany Rye and the Romany Ree'). But Mam thinks it's possibly something from her childhood - possibly the chorus of a song, or a character in a storybook perhaps. Just the sort of thing that would have been in those wonderful Rupert annuals - 'on his way home for tea, Rupert bumped into Romany Ree' - that sort of thing. Any ideas would be most welcome. But it gets dafter! Just recently she's started calling me 'Romany Ree from number forty-three'. So Shona says 'but we don't live at number forty-three.' And Mam says 'yes, but forty two doesn't rhyme!' There really is no hope is there? Sending you some fruit cake today as it seems appropriate! love Romany Ree from number forty-three'. (Well, forty-two really!) xxxxx

Hi Charlie, how are you? Something extraordinary happened here earlier........THE SUN WAS SHINING. Based on the year so far, and the weather forecast, this could have been the summer so it was walkies time along the river with the girlies and, yes, dobes too, although he needed to be carried after 50 yards! Today’s treats, apart from our good wishes and some pork sausages, are a sunshade and, just in case the forecast is correct, an umbrella. Back soon but my ability to sort out a new computer arriving today will determine when! Have fun x PS It is raining again.

Hi Charlie, hope you have recovered from that Op, when my Mum booked me for that procedure, my Dad went to work very early that day & didn't home until late, I think he was feeling a bit sensitive that day, although I was told he was worried about me & made lots of phone calls to my Mum. It is over & done with now & you can just concentrate on growing up, you're already very handsome. It is very nice to meet you & I hope you can come and visit me sometime. Left you a hello treat, love Dylan xx xx.

Hi Amanda and Charlie, thanks for dropping in. What a big bonnie lad you have grown into. Sorry about the op! I bet they didn't even warn you about it! Mam says I will be spayed when the time comes and that I will be happier without 'all that'. I have been to meet McKinty. He is big. I wasn't too sure about him at first but he was very nice and breathed warm air down his nose at me. Sending you some horse nuts I nicked from McKinty. (Sorry to mention 'nuts' !) love Romany xxx
