Oliver was a lovely boy, a special member of a very special breed. I know how big a gap you now have in your life and exactly how much it hurts. I can offer no words of comfort that will take the pain away, but hold onto your memories in the knowledge that Oliver had a great life and is now at peace.The world is a poorer place for his loss and you have my sincerest sympathy and best wishes. Your description of Oliver sounds likes the Colonel ( my 13year old Goldie) who went over the Rainbow Bridge 5th May 1998.....5 days before Murphy was born.He really was a one in a million boy, just like your Oliver. Now Murphy entertains me with his clowning and his 'come on then....chase me!!' Goldies are truly wonderful dogs, great personalities and a real deep sort of wisdom about them.
