Hi Harvey, hope your ok! Well the weather is nice here today, but it wasn't lilke this the other day. Mummy stupidly thought of taking me on a walk accross the fields even though it had been raining all day, we were both jumping the puddles when mummys leg slipped out in front of her and she went skidding accross the field. I thought she was inventing some new ride for a theme park because it looked so much fun but mummy wasn't too happy because she had mud all over her bum, hehe. Luckily no-one saw because they had all been much more sensible and stuck to pavement walking! Todays treat is some doggy beer, mummy bought me some from pets at home the other day, it was delicious ;o). Loadzzzzz of doggy love from your pal Badger xxxxxxxxxxxx
Hey there Harvey, how are you? My daddy has ordered me a new collar which stops me pulling so much because at the moment all my family have one arm longer then the other, hehe. My human family are all pleased with it but i hate it won't let me pull at all ,it takes all the fun out of the walks :o( Todays treat is a spanish omlette, its in a bit of a mess though cos mummy dropped it on the floor !!! Speak to you soon, lots of love from your pal Badger xxxxxxxxxx
Hi Harvey, "here we are again, happy as can be".......except we are NOT because it is back in the veterinary nurse's uniform again for me (any excuse!)........ and very fetching, or something, I look too!!! Sarika did another claw yesterday, I think that she hit a stone whilst charging around endeavouring to remind Purdey as to exactly who is the boss. Although there was a lot of blood at the time, it has already healed, so, although she is a bit lame still, that isn't the problem. No, today, instead, nurse David is clearing up after the upset stomachs of those two rather silly girlies who drank some rather unpleasant looking puddle water, no accidents in the house yet, thank goodness, but it is not the easiest thing to deal with in a wet garden! I fail to understand the attraction of stagnant puddle water, not that I have actually tried any but I doubt it has that lovely gooseberry and nettle tang of a nice glass of New Zealand sauvignon wine (do you know, my mouth actually started watering when I typed that!!! - How sad is that?). Anyway today we are dropping off useful stuff, some water purification tablets and, should you forget the tablets, some baby wipes and, most importantly, a bottle of NZ sauvignon for the humans. Have fun x
Afternoon Harvey. Hope you are well. It's a lovely Spring day here today - beautiful sunshine and not a cloud in the sky. Perfect lazing in the garden weather! Hehe! I have been to see the vet - again! Another infection in my paw, and I have to wear a boot to keep it clean! A boot!!! Oh, the shame!! Take care my friend, and today's treat is cauliflower cheese. Lotsa love Harvey x x Big licks Katie and Norman x x
Hi Harvey, my mum bought me a new water bowl today from pets at home, it's all lovely and shiny at the moment but i am sure i can sort that out in no time with a bit of slobber and drool, hehe. Nothing stays clean in my house for long !!! Todays treat is a MacDonalds happy meal, enjoy! lots of love from your pal Badger xxxxx
Hey there Harvey, hope you are okay. Did the easter bunny bring you lots of chocolates? I helped my little human sisters with the egg hunt, it was so exciting, they were hid all over my front garden, mummy wouln't let me have any because she said they were bad for my tummy, but she gave me some of my treats. I have loaded some more pictures of me onto the site so please have a look. Todays treat is a beef and ale pie, yum yum! Speak to you soon lot of love from your pal Badger xxxxx
Hi Harvey, how are you today my friend, sorry I couldnt get round yesterday but i am still delivering slices of my birthday cake and goody bags to all my friends, hope you enjoy them, see you soon, love Tiggs and gang xxxxx
Afternoon Harvey. Hope all is well with you today. It is so windy here. I was blown all over on my walk! Still, anything is better than the rain. I'm just zonked out on my lumpy bed now. What a life!! Hehe! Take care my friend, and your treat today is a soft boiled egg. Lotsa love Harvey x x Big licks Katie and Norman x x
hi harvey how are you as per usual soooo sorry not wrote in a while but my family has been busy doing their eveyday boring stuff. I has to go into kennels a couple of weeks back for the weekend as the family were visiting some friends who have a dog and we don't exactly see eye to eye hehe. Its getting much warmer up here no longer shivering everytime i go outside and can go on the fields again as they arent so swampy yey! Yesterday i was walking along a lane when a farmdog came out barking at me my mum stood there thinking oh no (as i usually don't take to kindly to other dogs barking) but i promptly turned round and ran away as fast as i could when mum caught up with me she could hardly breathe for laughing as apparantly i had looked hilarious running away like a big wuss, so i then ignored her for the rest of the walk, so there! hehe lots of love badger leaving a treat of sausages xxxxx
Hiya my friend, well, the weekend is here yet again :):) Mummy's real concerned because I've just nabbed some chicken out of the fridge without her looking and she doesn't know if I've swallowed any of the bones. She got as much out of my mouth as she could. Seeing it's Friday, I'm leaving you a chinese takeaway. Lots of love always, Alfie xox
Hi Harvey, hope you are well today and not getting too cold, its freezing here now that the sun has gone in, think it calls for a night in front of the fire, leaving you some of Ben's birthday cake and a doggy bag of goodies too, see ya soon, love Tara and gang xxxx
Afternoon Harvey. Hope all is well with you and Spring has sprung where you are!! It's a lovely day here, but chilly. I have spent the morning trying to laze in the garden, but mum is such a fuss pot, she made me come indoors!! Supposedly off for a hike soon, but I may just put "My Face" on and lie on the sofa instead! Hehe! Take care my friend, and your treat is some caramel shortbread. Lotsa love Harvey x x Big licks Katie and Norman x x x
hey my great friend happy belated valentines day i am soooo sorry i have not wrote in ages but the family has been quite busy. I don't know if you have heard of shrovetide but the town where i live is one of the few that carries on this tradition it is bacically a cross between rugby and football played in the streets, its very fun to watch and one year Prince Charles came to chuck the ball up. I went to watch for a couple of hours but then it rained so i went home hehe. For valentines day my human ssiters drew hearts on me and walked me round town you should try it, the amount of people who want to say hello is amazing hehe. Hope you have a really good weekend love badger, leaving a treat of lasagne mmmmm xxxxxxxx
Hi Harvey, ...a RANT AND A LAUGH TODAY. First the RANT.....What is it about some cyclists? On our walk this morning I saw a cyclist coming down the footpath. I called Sarika and Purdey (Max was still asleep), they came to me, and, with them, I stood off the edge of the path in a field which had young corn growing. Whereupon, as he came by, I got a load of abuse from the cyclist about standing on the crop etc. I pointed out that I had collected the dogs and got them out of his way despite me, as a pedestrian, having right of way over him on the path. It had been clear that he wasn't going to stop. He said not to worry about the dogs because if they came anywhere near him he would kick them out of the way. It is probably not advisable to put my next words and thoughts in writing!!!!,.....And now a LAUGH......We found Sarika and Purdey stuck to the fridge this morning, the little sods had been at the fridge magnets so I guess it served them right! It made walking quite entertaining when we got near things metal. Only joking! Today's treat from the girls and doberdog is a no-go area for difficult cyclists and a fridge magnet (recycled!). Have fun x
hi TEDDY STRINGFELLOW here well as you know zoe dumped me for a cocker spaniel well i think she regrets it but i went out with the boys last night gimli [ nan ] wore his bee outfit would you believe and didnt he get drunk so did bob [ sirrobertsgirl ] so me jake oscar and monty went to a posh club and there was jenny [ wiggly waggly ] pole dancing well shes ok for an old one hehehhe and today im gonna have a bath as tomorrow im having my haircut because if zoe dont come back to me i will want to look better than i do to pull all the girls that fancy me like mad and i must thank all the owners out there who said they want to look after me when mum goes to spain your all so kind well im not sending pancakes today im sending coconut ice lots of love teddy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi Harvey, WOW....WOW...and more WOWs.....the weekend was marked by an absolutely sensational event.....a truly incredible result.....Drum Roll.......Another Drum Roll......And Another Drum Roll......No, not the rugby, even more incredible than that.......yes indeedy, Purdey didn't get to roll in anything stinky because we managed to stop her! She spotted something on our walk, something which would have been, invariably, very smelly and would also have been very unpleasant stuck to her neck and back!!! We think that, in a previous life, it had been a duck's dinner. Fortunately, Purdey was still on the lead so her loveliness (Mrs Davidmh not Sarika, not to say that Sarika isn't lovely, in fact she is very lovely) managed to pull her to her feet as she started to drop....EXCELLENT....Our first victory over the POOMONSTER which makes the score very much closer...Us 1 - Purdey 237. And now our walk....WE MET UP WITH SOME OTHER DOGGYSNAPPERS for the first time. It was brilliant because they all turned out to be great fun and really lovely and the doggies turned out to be even more gorgeous in real life than they are on here. Roll on the next meeting. And finally it will not come as a surprise to anyone that today the girls and doberdog are dropping off a portion of recycled duck's dinner to roll in...Purdey cannot have it(TeeHee), Sarika is far too much of a Laydee for such things and Max is asleep. PS Oh yes, it is of course DDDD35 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 35), gosh, 5 weeks now and weigh day tomorrow, I don't "feel" any lighter this week so we will see. Have fun x
