Hello Taz, we are away again this weekend, the 50th birthday celebrations of last weekend are still continuing, this time it is a family affair and as we cannot get there in time for Sunday luncheon, we are having to go the day before and stay the night at my Granny and Grandad, hope the cats get looked after this time, my Mum has made the arrangements. Last weekend, they didn’t get fed as the lady went away herself for the weekend, she just forgot, my Mum didn’t tell her, she was cat sitting for us, as they are so kind other times to look after me and the cats, luckily, she left enough dry food and water to keep them happy, it was ironic, she only found out when she realised she had left her credit cards behind and rang them and my Mum’s friend father in law answered the phone, he was looking after their cat, anyhow, she phoned another lady, who also had a key, she kindly let both Lucy and Skimble in we left outside but alas, didn’t feed them but as there as 7 of them, my Mum didn’t want to push it, surprising, the litter trays weren’t too bad. It has been a bad week, my Mum was ill towards the start, she couldn’t even get me out for my walks, so she left the back door open and froze, I had to wait until my Dad to come home, then the gas fire that was due to be fixed failed, the gentleman had indentified and ordered the wrong part, he has ordered another part, naturally it is more expensive but that is the trails of life. Tigger has now decided he like to go with a walk with me, instead of running, as Zebedee does, he trots alongside me, he doesn’t like it when Mum carries him home. I end on a very sad note, my Mum is busy, which is good so she doesn’t dwell on the distressing news, she cries in a quiet moment, ours thoughts are with Jacky (Jackymac), sadly lost her cat Eddie on the 27th, she is being so brave and understandable, so very upset, our thoughts and prayers are with Jacky and her family, rest in peace Eddie and on Friday, my Mum heard, her close and dear friend, Dot had died of cancer, she looked so ill when my Mum last saw her, she was talking about she just wanted her coffin covered in daffodils, again an very brave lady, their Christmas tree is already in the window, she so desperately wanted to see Christmas. My Mum is crying again for both Eddie and Dot, she will give me a cuddle, always does when she is feeling sad, I bid farewell with a treat. Love, Dylan and the cat gang. xx xx

Hi Taz, lovely to hear found and delighted to hear you arae keeping well, I have good and bad days with my arthritics, but generally pity good, I can outrun my Mum any day and have more energy than she does, especially when walking up hills, enjoy your laptop, sometimes my Mum uses ours, like you, she had wanted one for ages, it is good when you are on the move. A breakfast treat for you too. Lots of love, Dylan and the cat team xx xx

Hi Taz, went to my hydrotherapy and the vets for my booster, the lady vet checked my joints, my arthritics isn’t too bad at present, after we returned from the vets Mum and Dad noticed Skimble limping, so another return trip, he mieowed all the way. Susan said his leg was swollen so he is on antibiotics and was given a painkiller. The house is decorated for Halloween, my Mum did take some photos of me and the witch pumpkin that will go outside, don’t know if they are any good, as I don’t like having my photo taken with strange things in the background, I think Tigger got photographed in a couple of them, my Dad will check them and if any good will post them on the site for a couple of days. We have doggy treats and lots of ‘little human’ treats The pumpkin still has to be carved we a cat face and we have a singing pumpkin dog and because I bark and come running to the door everytime the door bell rings, there is a dog warning sign so I don’t frighten the very little humans. No trick, a treat and a Halloween poem ‘ There is a spooky sound coming from the house next door, you can see them through the window as they bounce off the door. All gouls and goblins passing down the street as they all out looking for a halloween treat. There is a witch as she crackles as she jumps on her broom, then she springs through the night as she glides across the moon, you will jump when the monster glide through the air as they just want to give you a halloween scare. Happy Halloween. Love, Dylan and the cat gang, especially from Lucy our little black cat xx

Hi Taz, I have been painting with my tail & for days had a 'Applewhite' designer tail with delicate flicks on the ends, the cats have been keeping me busy, bit scared of Tigger, he sometimes blocks me in the kitchen & I have to bark so my Mum & Dad can remove him to enable me to get pass, it is those sharp things at the end of his claws, I don't like, he is into everything, the washing machine, dishwasher, he jumps onto my Mum back & she has to piggyback him to the settee, he has even learnt how to paw out the cat food out of tins. Do you remember Arthur, the white cat on TV a few years back?, he has copied that trick. Zebedee, sadly has been catching birds, we tried to save them, but as you know, once a cat catches one, sadly their fate is sealed, she attempted to revitalised one with water, he did respond but a few seconds later died in her hands. To human news, my Mum tried to set the kitchen alight, she made some watercress homemade soup & turn down the gas when she did something else, forgot to turn it off completely & when later put down her favourite doggy fleece on the stove ready for the next wash, went out to hang the first wash on the line, needless to say, the fleece went up in flames, she was so cross with herself for being so silly but it could have been a lot worse, if it had been Dad's shorts she could have replaced them from M&S but this fleece was a one off. I have been off my medication apart from joint care, to see how I fare, still get tired and I still get a limp but now the weather is cooler, it doesn't seem as bad, I tend to run around like a mad thing for the first 5 minutes & then run out of energy, if I meet my friend Susie, she keeps me going while the Mums chat. I am leaving you some Cullen Skink, my Mum has learnt her lesson & always double checks the gas ring is turned off. There is probably more to tell, but I haven't been in contact for a while, so might have forgotten some antics. Love, Dylan xx xx

Hi Taz, humans have decided to call the new ginger fluff ball 'Tigger', he is curious, greedy, mischievous, playful, he bounces, leaps, jumps, hisses but he is OK. When he is microchipped, I know, he will be here to stay. Steak treat today. Love, Dylan xx xx

Hello Taz, I have been to my hydrotheraphy today for my arthritics, the lady who looks after me, ordered some S.T.P (Stop The Pain), it comes from America & is specially formulated for horses but they have developed a supplement for dogs, so we hope to give it a try & it works. Yesterday, my Mum & Dad started to making our 'scarecrows' for the village festival, this year the theme is movie magic. Most of the entrants do figures, we always enter 'animal scarecrows' & this year will be no different, if our ideas work, we will post them on my kennel in a month's time, We are assembling 5 animal characters & one human figure. The Sunday roast is today's treat. Love, Dylan & the cats: Kizzy, Patches, Lucy, Whisky, Zebedee & Skimble xx xx

Hi Taz, how are you, soon to be numb gum David here today. I managed to break a front tooth vertically again yesterday, it serves me right for eating broken biscuit cake straight from the fridge (I blame she who has just got back from university, I hid the cake so she wouldn't pinch it!). "That is a very crunchy biscuit" I thought until I found the gap in my tooth. I am temporarily being referred to as FANG but at least my soon-to-be visited dentist is beautiful. All is well here otherwise, glorious weather and all the doggies are enjoying life. As a treat we are sending over a bit of broken biscuit cake (if you find any very crunchy bits perhaps you could let me have them back) x

Hi Taz, is it me or, at the moment, does every new month on DoggySnaps seems to bring some new sadness? So today no funnies from the strange world of Davidmh, we are simply visiting as we wanted to say hello and also to send a virtual cuddle to all our friends x

Hi Taz, well what a week with the insects, an entomologist's delight. Except the "spider".......well this is a bit embarrassing.......the spider wasn't quite what it seemed. You see I didn't......if you see what I mean....... I didn't actually have my glasses on (because when I take them off I cannot then see to find them again and I had taken them off and so I couldn't find them - TWIT) and the spider was something else not quite as scary but still quite scary........well actually not scary at all really........unless you are dust mite, in which case it would be very scary.......it was the duster bit off a feather duster which Mrs Davidmh had obviously left to frighten us. Well it worked. You cannot imagine the relief, in more ways than one, our garden is now flooded but not just because of all the rain. To celebrate we, the girlie gundogs, sleeping baldy and me, are sending you quite a lot of "whatever you fancy". And a bottle of pop for the humans who sent some very interesting advice!!!!! Have fun x

Hi Taz, it was my birthday yesterday & guess what, I was at the vets along with Whisky, one of our cats, I have left you a slice of my cake. Hopefully they will sort out my limp & Whisky's bad tooth, as we are both a bit uncomfortable. my Mum took the opportunity to wash all my water bowls in the dishwasher & washed our bedding, even cooked the chicken for our homecoming. Enjoy your cake & when I am better, it will be a good excuse to have another party. Love, Dylan, Whisky & the other cats x

Hi Taz, we found a huge beetle a few days ago. Today its father has turned up! We are currently hiding behind the sofa - two brave gundogs, dobes and me - hoping it doesn't spot us. Please send help. To encourage/bribe you we are enclosing some more of my yummy homemade fudge. PS as some say that Rolling Stones are better than Beatles, could you send a Rolling Stone because it might work with beetles too. HELP.
