We have a secret, you and I
that no one else shall know,
for who but I can see you lie
each night in fire glow?
And who but I can reach my hand
before we go to bed
and feel the living warmth of you
and touch your silken head?
And only I walk woodland paths
and see ahead of me,
your small form racing with the wind
so young again, and free.
And only I can see you swim
in every brook I pass
and when I call, no one but I
can see the bending grass.
Hi Bob I hope we get together as I am up here in doggie heaven too.My mom really likes your picture, she does really good doggie portraits and she is saving your pic, she likes to draw /paint doggies with loads of personality. In the meantime heres a treat from me . love from me and my mom Bonniesmom
So sorry for your sad loss. and thought I'd share this poem. Hope it helps: . They say memories are golden. Well, maybe that is true. I never wanted memories I only wanted you. A million times I needed you, A million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, You never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place No one could ever fill. If tears could build a stairway, And heartache make a lane. I'd walk the path to heaven, And bring you home again. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again: & a tribute from Belle, Karla & Mum xx
