Hi Ruby, how are you? This is our first DS visit for a while because I’ve simply got fed up with my continuing difficulty in getting into my kennel. Everything is fine here, Her Princessliness remains just that and dobes is asleep. Today’s treat is practical and necessary, a bottle of eau de dogogne.....VERY necessary in our case as our sensational news is that Purdey is no longer THE POOMONSTER, she is now THE STINKMONSTER. She has stopped rolling in recycled animal dinners (no doubt aware that a BATH will result) and has now taken up rolling in places where there are just strong smells (and, yes, I know what that could be!). You can imagine the scenario.......she comes running out of the fields and she is not covered in poo.......PHEW .......which rapidly changes to COR, WHAT IS THAT EFFING STINK as she gets closer. More baths await, methinks. I daren’t change her name on here however as, if I do, it will probably take me even longer to get into my kennel! Have a good day x

Hi Karla here as Belle is hiding under the dinner table sulking. Mum has got out the BIG bags out and she doesn’t like it one bit. I’ve told her not to worry as we can work on human sis for extra walks & treats while mum & dad are away but thre seems no consoling her. Mum’s not a lot better either she really, really hates flying and all the scareyplane incidents that have happened of late are not helping at all. Hi, Sorry we’ve not been around this week but it’s been another chaotic one, first the bad news…. human granddad had a mini stroke, but is recovering really well considering. Now for some good news Human brother has been brought home early from Afghanistan for a promotions course. To be honest we don’t care if he passes of fails it we are just glad he’s safely back in the UK. Paws crossed we may even get to see him soon. We are just popping by with a treat. Hello Ruby & Gang. Well it’s the start of another week so I thought I would stop by and check in on everybody. I had a fine week-end, although I’ve got a sore paw again so Mom didn’t take me on very long walks. I don’t mind but she sticks a boot on and I feel such a plank – still it’s easier for me to walk so that’s OK. There has been no agility for a couple of weeks because the girls are on holiday, so nothing humorous to tell you on that front. In fact it’s been a very uneventful week; which on reflection must be a good thing. Looking forward to my couple of days away with Mom and Dad in Aviemore, I love it there because there are so many great places to run and sniff – my very favourite thing. Mom was a little morose over the week-end because she found some stuff that belonged to my sister Nikki. Mom misses her so much because she was adorable. Mom saw another 6 year old Wheaten was looking for a new home in Montrose, good luck to Murphy finding a good forever home. Leaving you steak ‘n’ eggs treat for breakfast. TTFN, Love Shannon xxxx

Hello Ruby and the gang! The weather was a little bit better this week. It only rained twice and it looks like the weekend will be clear, bright and sunny. Mom’s so proud of me because I’ve gotten so much better with my barking, I’m really learning some patience. I also managed to ride in the van 3 times this week without throwing up! That’s a feat worth celebrating! I hope we get a chance to go to a local farm this weekend so I can see chickens, and cows and horses. I don’t know what any of those things are, but I’m curious now that the human pups mentioned them. I also hope you have a great weekend. I’m leaving you some leftover homemade burgers from last night. Mom snuck some flaxseed into them for extra fibre, Daddy and the human pups didn’t notice and I didn’t care but then again I would eat absolutely anything. Point being, they are tasty AND healthy! Have lots of fun this weekend. Take care of yourselves and your humans. ♥Hooch

Hi RR, how are you? Something extraordinary happened here earlier........THE SUN WAS SHINING. Based on the year so far, and the weather forecast, this could have been the summer so it was walkies time along the river with the girlies and, yes, dobes too, although he needed to be carried after 50 yards! Today’s treats, apart from our good wishes and some pork sausages, are a sunshade and, just in case the forecast is correct, an umbrella. Back soon but my ability to sort out a new computer arriving today will determine when! Have fun x PS It is raining again.

Karla is feeling a lot better now and almost back to her normal bouncing self, Mum has almost got her bark back.. well she barked at Tumnus when he tried bringing a dead bird home lol.
