Hi Dexter, all is quiet here. The kennel remains in a state of astonishment after the princessliness and the poo rolling incident. Sarika remains embarrassed. So many questions...Is she still a princess? Is she the new poomonster? Can a princess be a poomonster? Can a poomonster be queen? What is the Hungarian word for poomonster? I HAVE ALSO SPOTTED PURDEY WINKING AT SARIKA AND GIGGLING BEHIND HER PAW ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, THE SMUG LITTLE SOD. Max has yet to offer an opinion, remaining asleep, surprise surprise, although I think that he is pretending to be asleep to avoid confrontation, A TYPICAL MALE! The good news is that my kennel now works properly...HOORAY...but I had to take all my pics off which was a pity because I was really proud that they had been favourited so many times. Anyway I will hopefully sort and upload some new ones over the weekend. Today I am delivering for all the doggies a kiss, a cuddle and a bonio and for the slaves a slice of the treacle tart I have just made, with clotted cream of course. Have fun. x

Hi Dexter, NEWS FLASH....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH..... ANOTHER SHOCK HORROR AWE FILLED SENSATION. People of Berkshire in the United of Kingdoms have been stunned by the incredible news from the davidmh kennel. Her Princessliness Sarika ....... a member of The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Royal Household, she of the ”butter wouldn’t melt” expression, she of the human eyes and the perfumed botty burps, the Laydee of the Month of Lurve, also known as Her Gorgeousness and, by Purdey, as Miss Goody Twoshoes............ has disgraced herself. On a walk this morning she did a Purdey, SHE ROLLED IN SOMETHING UNMENTIONABLE AND VERY SMELLY. Her human slave (now on tranquillisers) and the incorrigible one, the Poomonster, looked on in complete bewilderment. The sleeping dobes has yet to express an opinion. TV news crews from the Doggy Channel are on site and the Ambulance Service are administering to many stunned passers-by. What next?!!!! Will Sarika become the Poomonster? Will Purdey give up her title willingly? Will Max wake up? A bottle of pop and a fillet steak for you while we are waiting for answers to these fundamental questions. x

Hi Dexter, what a lovely weekend, perhaps THAT was our long awaited summer? We walked up the Thames a couple of times and much fun was had by all....well, except perhaps for the duck which Purdey chased.....or the tennis ball which Sarika managed to sink.... it is a tough life being a tennis ball round here! The weekend’s big news was that Sarika and Purdey found a new friend who we are calling Tommy (pic in kennel if you can get there!). Max hasn’t met Tommy (who might even be a prince, who knows) because dobes opted for sleep rather than exercise. Because of Tommy the girlies are sending over a HALL.....Purdey wanted to send mouthwash too but that is her problem, serves her right for picking up Tommy with her mouth......all will become obvious, hopefully. Have fun x

Hi Dexter, some people say that you shouldn’t NAME and SHAME unpleasant behaviour on DoggySnaps. Well, I am going to make an exception to the rule because, quite frankly, enough is enough........The NAME is.....PURDEY...............THE SHAME is.....FOX POO. Now I guess that some people probably think I exaggerate Purdey’s predilection for recycled animal dinners.....well, this time the gorgeous little sod has got her comeuppance because I took a photograph of her in her fox poo finery and I have put it in her kennel for all her friends and supporters to see. Serves her right. The clean and fragrant ones, Princessliness Sarika and His Baldiness, are dropping off virtual photos of themselves.....”unpooed” they said somewhat smugly! Have fun x

Hi dexter, how are you? I have just heard a joke....What do you call a man with a spade in his head?.................Doug! I thought that was funny, I think I am cracking up because of the problems accessing my kennel. I now get in by putting Sarika's name in fetch, clicking on a picture and following the links to her main one. Hey Ho. Anyway, allowing for my cracking up and the poor weather (it is summer after all), we are all well here. The girlies and sleeping beauty are such a joy and great fun and we feel blessed that they are part of our lives. I do have another problem though, I've even created a thread in the Lampost.....it is that age old male swimwear question...SWIMMING SHORTS or SPEEDOS? So, to canvas opinions, the girlies and dobes are today not only delivering a piece of fillet steak but also a pair of shorts and a pair of speedos. What do you think? Hi Dexter, how are you, soon to be numb gum David here today. I managed to break a front tooth vertically again yesterday, it serves me right for eating broken biscuit cake straight from the fridge (I blame she who has just got back from university, I hid the cake so she wouldn't pinch it!). "That is a very crunchy biscuit" I thought until I found the gap in my tooth. I am temporarily being referred to as FANG but at least my soon-to-be visited dentist is beautiful. All is well here otherwise, glorious weather and all the doggies are enjoying life. As a treat we are sending over a bit of broken biscuit cake (if you find any very crunchy bits perhaps you could let me have them back) x

Hi dexter, this is a quick visit before we go walkies as the weather is changing, blast. Just when I was getting used to dry and clean (the dogs) and a suntan (mine). So it is away with the suntan lotion (mine) and out again with the wellies (mine) and the towels and wash basin (dogs). Typical. To cheer myself up I made another vodka and orange trifle (hic!) because it went (hic) down very well (hic) before and the girls and dobes are dropping off some of that as well as a tennis ball (from Sarika), an empty bird's egg (from Purdey) and some zzzzzzs (from Max). Have fun x

Hi Dexter, what a fabulous weekend here. Glorious sunshine and warm too, tracks dry and doggies mud free. Saturday's party went well, the canine threesome behaved beautifully (it is difficult to resist the girlies when they lay their heads on your lap and look adoringly at you - interesting that it always seemed to happen when sausages were being scoffed!), and yesterday we all went to a BBQ, more yummy food. Today the girls, who have just had a seriously good playtime at Bramshill (new pics), and dobes are dropping off weekend leftovers - scallops wrapped in bacon, chicken and bacon burgers and vodka and orange trifle. Hang on a minute, I will just have another spoonful of that trifle - Hmmm, that's better. Have fun x

Hi Dexter, a quick visit today. The dogs want to go out and chase things, I want to sunbathe and I've also got to prepare food for a party tomorrow. I have just made an iced white chocolate terrine and the girls and dobes are sending some over with a raspberry coulis. Yummy. Have a great weekend

Hi Dexter, the work on the doggies only ark has stopped!!! Not because of workers industrial action (when I say workers I use the term very loosely as I, of course, refer to Sarika, Purdey, Maxwell and me and Maxwell is asleep and the other three of us are pretty useless at ark building!), not because of poor pay or long hours or union policy. Nope, work has stopped on HDS (His David's Ship) WOOF because the sun has come out. It is dry and warm and long may it remain so. Following various incidents featuring my fingers and thumbs, the hammer and me, I am sure that I heard a sigh of relief from the aforementioned digits (those that remain) when we decided to down tools. As a result, today the girlies and dobes are delivering some Soltan factor 25 sun lotion, a knotted handkerchief (also known as my sunhat) and my hammer (because it will be safer if you look after it). Have fun x
