Hi Briar, Christmas is over, but had to tell you the story about one of our cats, Dad was taking down the Christmas cards & he heard a rustle, looked around saw nothing & so continued, then all was revealed, he spotted a extra Christmas decoration that wasn't there before, Zebedee one of our cats was in the middle of the Christmas tree, climbing towards the top, maybe he had spied the articial robins, Dad pulled him off & the curious cat had managed to get a string of lights tangled around him, if Dad wasn't so worried for his safety, would loved to have captured his antics on camera. The cats have managed to break into my bonio box, so before they steal them all, leaving you a selection to eat or bury, the choice is yours. Wishing you all a bright, happy & healthy 2008. Love, Dylan & the cat team xxx

Hi Briar, roast beef as the treat today, I am starting off with the treat, as you read on you will see why. My silly Dad, last Sunday, Mum was Christmas shopping, I think Dad was worried how much money Mum was putting on the credit card, had a nice long Sunday walk, Dad cleared up my indiscretion & then put my favourite ball & not the poo into the poo bin. Our poo bins (thankfully) are designed not to make it easy to retrieve things, but Dad had to get my ball out again, success, but needless to say he & my ball was covered in the smelly stuff, it was a very quick walk home. Love & wags, Dylan xxxx

Hi Briar, update on our news. On Hallowe'en we had lots of children calling about 30-35 of them, the last visitors about 9 ish, we run out of treats, Mum was offering markies to the doggies, one little boy kept on dropping his collection, so I kept on eating them, I had a fun time answering the door, at one stage I got left outside as I decided it was fun to follow one group who made such a fuss of me. Fireworks, well that is another matter, there were so loud, I got scared, even too scared to go for a wee in the garden until 01.00 am. Half of the cats were OK but the other half were frightened like me, after one particular loud bang, I found myself huddled on the stairs with one of the cats, so humiliating. Welsh rabbit & Scotch woodcock is the treat today. Take care & wags from Dylan xx
Hiya Mate - it has been a bit of mad house with Holly and Roshie during fireworks weekend. Holly is still with us and may stay for ??? as her Mummy just had an op for a burst appendix. Holly is very nice and gentle with me (and my toys) at all times but she doesn't walk as nicely as me - she tries to squeeze herself into the rabbits tunnels which worry Mummy). Are you doing ok? Was very windy during the night, let's hope Mummy doesn't get us out of bed too quickly. Waggy tail to you and sending you a yoghurt with a banana. Hamish
Morning matey - our PC is starting to hibernate I think, if it gets slower there is a risk that Mummy thows it out of the window! Holly the lab is arriving tonight, and then tomorow Holly and I have a sleepover at Roshie's whilst Mummy does her black little dress and pearls thingie at a dinner with Daddy (part of her little thing is to hide her yawns and looking at her watch .... thinking of meeee) and then on Saturday I come back home with Roshie and Holly and they both stay till Tuesday - so that they are not disturbed by the fireworks .... I tell you the things I have to put up with! And on top of that the cupboards are miserable at this end this morning, found a few oatcakes and some cheddar cheese. Must send Mummy to the shops. Do I have to think of everything???? Waggy tail. Hamish
Hi my friend Very very windy during the night. It was banging everywhere. (Mummy got a bit spooked when she thought she had heard thumping on the stairs - she was brave and called me on to the bed and she didn't move! I was too hot (and there was no biscuits or anything) so I didn't stay long. Mummy expects a power cut at any time and is walking around with a torch in her pocket! Great look, hair in all directions, her old slippers and Daddy's dressing gown - ahhh the elegance of the French! I say let's just stay in bed till it's light. What do you think? Buttered scone for you this morning. Waggy tail. Hamish
Hi Briar, you are so handsome & the beach is you favourite place too. I love to roll in the sand and paddle in the sea but I won't go out of my depth as I don't like the waves. My fav toy is a ball on a rope, how I love to chase, but don't always retrieve, after all, I have to give my Mum & Dad exercise too, they have to keep fit. Lovely to have met you, left you a treat of cold angus roast beef. Love & wags, Dylan xx
Hi Briar - guess what, well just read "Hi Hamish, congratulations! You have been nominated for Novembers 'Hunk of the Month'! Good luck, the winner will be announced on 26th October. Lots of love, Daisie xx. " What a scruff like me??? Wow don't know where to put myself, except on top of the roof. Don't care if I win or not, being nominated is soo marvellous. What a week this has been. Have barking great fun this week-end. Sending you thick toast with raspberry jam. Waggy tail. Hamish
