Hui Jedi, how are you? Something extraordinary happened here earlier........THE SUN WAS SHINING. Based on the year so far, and the weather forecast, this could have been the summer so it was walkies time along the river with the girlies and, yes, dobes too, although he needed to be carried after 50 yards! Today’s treats, apart from our good wishes and some pork sausages, are a sunshade and, just in case the forecast is correct, an umbrella. Back soon but my ability to sort out a new computer arriving today will determine when! Have fun x PS It is raining again.

Hi Jedi, how are you? My birthday celebrations continue, how lucky I was to be three weeks premature, my liver and I could be very tired by what should have been my real birthday in mid August. It is a lot of fun though!!!! I took the girlie gundogs to the Gamefair at Blenheim yesterday. They were much admired and Purdey even met some of her Slovak relatives. The funniest thing was watching her make friends with a water buffalo, I have never seen a dog stretch its neck so long while in "ready to flee because I am not actually sure what it is " position. She ended up licking the buffalo's ear. Sarika was above it all...buffalo, horses, eagles, ferrets etc etc..they are not humans (her favourites) so hardly worth a princess's interest. Max, as befits one of his age, stayed at home and slept. Today, apart from our best wishes of course, we are delivering a water buffalo's dropping, mainly because we don't know what else to do with it...it is rather large and, as yet, unrolled-in, the Poomonster still being "not too sure". Have fun x.

Phew what a hot one eh Jedi? Hope you are managing to stay cool in this heat. Our humans put the gazebo up at the back of the house so nearly all the deck is now in shade, bliss. The pool is out also so we have no excuse of staying cool, well except Vester who only uses the pool to drink! Vest got his ear results back and his got a overgrowth of yeast so is back on ear drops, he is such a wuss tho, mummy only has to touch the bottle and he runs off into the cage he he he. Anyway dropping off some BBQ kebabs with some cool ice cream for afters, off to lay in the shade again, see you soon, luv & licks Heidi, Ruby & Vester xxxxxx

Hi Jedi and Cassie.Mum and I are trying to get round as many as we can today, to leave tasty treats and hugs. I'm going on holiday to my human Grandparents, while Mum goes somewhere so far away she won't know what time of day it is when she gets there! (Nothing unusual in that actually!!!) Too far for me to go with her. I just hope her friends remember to wake her up! I know she won't want to go back to using her wobbly under pillow alarm again!! So, we'll see you when we get back and tell you all about it. Big hugs, and some jammy dodgers for you. (Make sure you clean your teeth after!!) Liffey. xxxxx

Hi Jedi, how are you today? Hope you had a good weekend, even the weather was pretty good considering. Well Vester has been back to the vets again today for his ears and she has given him another course of the same tablets, his allowed to have his tablets for his hip too and a rimadyl once a day, she has taken swabs and is sending them off for ‘culture’ tests. Heidi and I are just waiting for him to rattle when he walks! He he he. We have been good girls, but then that goes without saying obviously! The humans brought us matching halti harnesses the weekend as mummy’s shoulder is playing up and shes blaming ME!, can you believe that??? I ask you, just because I want to be in front and get all those wonderful sniffs first. Anyway flying visit as our PA is rather busy, leaving you some roast pork with crackling to enjoy xxx Ruby, Heidi and Mr Rattle xxx

Hi Jedi, well we had a great walk yesterday evening. Well, to be precise, it was great until the moment when I attached Purdey's lead. You see I hadn't noticed that she had rolled in something and I am actually not sure, on reflection, whether I noticed before or after the deer's breakfast was on my hand. And did it pong, you ask? Well, it took five washes in soapy water and treatment with tomato sauce (useless) and tomato puree (much better) to get rid of the stink....and that was just from my hand! Purdey, the gorgeous little sod, required more drastic treatment and is now, thanks to the tomato puree, a RED Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer. Sarika looked on in regal disdain at the chaos and also increased her human vocabulary somewhat, doberdog was, yes that is right, sleeping. Today we thought we had better send over some dog friendly bleach so that, if you are lucky enough to find and roll in some deer poo, you can be restored to your former glory without changing colour. Have fun x

Hi Jedi, how are you? A quick visit today because I have non DoggySnaps things to do, what a TWIT! Apart from my bloody tooth breaking again (time for me to be ennobled methinks, well to have a crown anyway), everyone is enjoying life here and all is well apart from one of our walks being ruined by the arrival of a group of "travellers" who have smashed gates into one of the fields. You should see the mess they have already made. Hey Ho. Anyway, on a happier note, last night we saw a shooting star and it was beautiful. Today therefore the girlie gundogs and dobes and me are dropping off some of the stardust and we hope that it brings you and yours lots of luck. Have fun x

Hi Jedi, the girlie gundogs reminded me of my long lost youth today because they were chasing birds. Their targets, unlike mine in the good old days, were of the feathered variety (have no fear my ornithological friends, the bells on the girlies collars act as a very effective early warning system) with magpies and pigeons on the agenda. All the creeping, pointing and "I am invisible" positions adopted were very amusing to watch and brought back "David in the disco" memories - most of which were very painful and I am not just talking about the resultant arthritis. In their new role as a David Tribute Ensemble called "Remember the (a number I am not going to tell you, you'll have to guess)ties" the girls and doberdog are today dropping off a pair of bottle green velvet flares, a pink floral shirt, a tank top and some Brut aftershave. Hmmmmm on reflection those could explain a great deal, particularly the "lack of success"!!! Have fun x

Well Hello! Boy is it good to get out of that cage. Hope you all had a great Christmas’s and got totally spoilt, I know we did, we have lots of treats still to consume, but I’m sure we will manage he he he. My leg is doing good, had the stitches out on Saturday but my ear is still a bit mucky so mummy is trying, and boy is she trying let me tell you! To wash it out, but I’m having none of it so run the other way so she has to catch me. I’m sure she speaks some foreign language at the same time, perhaps it make it work better, what do you think? Do your humans speak foreign languages when trying to get you to do something? Strange breed aren’t they? Little sis went over to see Daisie yesterday at daisiemummy’s and boy did she have some fun, she was covered in mud and as soon as she got home she flaked out and slept for 6 hours! She had to be woken up for her dinner, personally I’d have left her then I could have had it..humpf….Anyway leaving you a big tasty rib eye steak with some chips for a treat today, hope you have a great New Year and hopefully there wont be too many fireworks! Luv ya Vester xx & Heidi xx

Wasn't Christmas great? I had a lovely time with mummy and the rest of my family. My step sister Abigail distributed the presents from under the tree for everyone. I had soooo many presents! Mummy likes me to open mine after everyone else has opened theres cause she likes to watch and take photos but I couldn't resist opening them at the same time as everyone else!! I first opened my gift from Zoe, yum yum!!!!! Mummy looked down and I had not only through the wrapping but also the packaging and I was eating the contents!! They were so yummy!! I got a nice cuddly teddy bear with a blue jacket on, a bunny rabbit, a Shrek Donkey, a nice cosy blanket and lots of treats including a box of gravy bones, and dental sticks!! I ate lots yesterday and lots today. I was so lucky I was even given a nice beef bone to lick the marrow out, usually mummy doesn't let me have them. Mummy is taking me to Pets At Home tommorrow to spend my money I got. The next door neighbour gave me £5, can you believe that?? I am going to get off to bed now as it's late, leaving you some sausages with bacon wrapped around them. Lots of love always your friend Alfie xox PS Mummy is hitting the sales tommorrow!
