I raise BLOODHOUNDS and love all of them. We're from Tennessee, USA. Jessie's still fighting and Iris goes for a vet visit Monday for the last of her shots.
Don't forget me, I'm still here!

Hope you have been able to stop by and visit my blog at http://wimseyblog.blogspot.com and see how your urban bretheren translate the Houndly spirit to life in New York.

molly the lurcher lover
Hello,- JJ., Glad to hear the children are growing BIG and strong; you're catching up as I'm preparing to sign off for a while. Here's the latest.............. July nearly ended already - where did it go? This is a very quick note to say I will be incomunicado for a month or so; we are headed North with the whole household [including my orchids!] Malcolm is there at the moment having left last night with a loaded trailer, loads of dog food, horse feed, tack, food for freezer................. we couldn’t get anything else in the car. He returns tonight and we start to load the next lot............ The lovely Flynn, the Wolfhound X has been sent to Dogs Trust Kenilworth. Any of you Lurcher Lovers????? He went on ‘The Chance of a Lifetime’ from N Ireland. He is about 2 years old neutered, and perfect in every way apart to a cat aversion!!! Housetrained, car trained and lovely and BIG, bit larger than my Molly. I better get started to post this. Thanks to everyone for your messages, treats and good wishes. The Jackies and Joni will be here watering the plants and letting the carpenter in [I hope!] I fervently wish all you bereaved ‘parents’ are recovering from the immediate grief and shock and contemplating the patter of little [rescued?] paws. Kind Regards to you all, Enjoy the rest of the summer, Lynda, Molly, Horatio, Alfred, Bert, Tallulah, Tig, Annie, Caiomhe and Ruairi, Plus Mouser and Wee Minnie [cats] Mr Splodge, Naughty Jack and Sammy [horses]. THE TINKERS ARE ON THE ROAD!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Jessie-Jane, Yes we are all busy at this time of year. Wow the pups growing. Little (!) Lucy weighs 64lbs now! Still have to lift her into my car! Busy hay making, leading hay etc. etc. All stock doing well. This morning the horse dentist is checking Winnies teeth, followed by fencing, busy, busy busy. Will write at length when time permits. Love to all, Dorothy. (Peggy and Co.) xx

Hi All, I bet you miss those gorgeous pups when they go off into the big wide world! Lucy had her second jab today, I think I shall invest in shares in the vets! Peggy booster, Amos health check and treatment for rash, Lucy chipped and stitches out after Peggy bit her last weekend! Lily (the cat) antibiotics for mastitis, on the plus side lambs all thriving - 40 in total! Had Amos (9month) weighed today 58KG! Little Lucy is gaining around 3lb per week so don't think I shall be carryuing her for her next shot! She is as cute as she looks - mind you does mean holes in the lawn - I don;t think the gardeners are impressed - spent last weekend sowing seed on the filled in diggings, promptly dug out again! Oh the joys of being a dog (animal) lover!!! Sending you some great sods of turf to play with - fresh from our garden. Love to all, Peggy & co. XXX
