You are so handsome, gone is the timid looking boy that we knew. You go on creating havoc and running circles round your mum and dad. haha. We love you Max, you are a wonderful dog, and we are so glad you have found such a loving family to take care of you. Lots of love, Molly, Floss & Sue xxxxxxx

Hello Max, we hope the pills are working for you, we have missed you all so much, and we would like to thank you for visiting us while we have had a week off, due to mum's eye. It is a cold dull day here, but we have been in the fields with our pals, so we have left mum to do our messages while we have a snooze. Leaving a full Sunday roast for you to enjoy. Lots of love, Molly & Floss xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx we loved the cow joke. hehehe. ps A man comes home from the pub pushing a baby carriage. "You idiot!" shouts his wife, "that's not our baby." "I know," says the husband, "but it's a nicer pram!" xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Max, Funny but Mum was going to ask your Dad the other day about your heart - you've got a murmur like me, haven't you? Sorry to hear that you're on the pills, but just think of all the extra yummy treats that they'll need to be wrapped in! I make strange retching noises sometimes, which Mum thinks might be a rather strange sounding cough but most of the time I seem to be fine, so we're not worrying yet. I've been eating senior dog food and it's pretty yummy, and if I don't like it I eat Alfie's instead! It drives him nuts! Leaving you some chicken stew, Dylan xxxx Alfie sends love and some Yorkshire Terrier Puddings (Hah!) to go with the stew.

Hello Handsome Max, you are such a beautiful boy. We are sorry to hear about your heart playing you up. We are sure you will love the senior food just as much, and yes, they do have it in chicken flavour. Leaving pork risotto today. Lots of love, Floss & Molly xxxxxxxxxx

TREATS!

Hi John and Max, Great news! Dylan’s paperwork has finally been sorted out and he’s now officially a member of the family. Alfie threw him a celebratory party on Saturday, which involved lots of wagging tails and licking – yeuch! Mum was quite sad though as she said there were loads of dogs looking for good homes at the rescue centre. Apparently some centres have had to foster dogs out temporarily because there’s no room as lots of dogs are given to rehoming centres after being abandoned after Xmas. Anyway on a brighter note we all went out for a long celebration walk on Sunday. The river has finally defrosted, so Alfie, naturally, had to go for a quick dip – if Alfie was human, he’d be one of those people who swim in the Serpentine on Boxing Day, brrrr. Dylan, more sensibly, just ran up and down the bank instead. He’s just discovered a great new game – we run, we stop, Mum calls us, and we run to her for tickles – great fun, and appears to be doing his recall a lot of good. Mugs of cocoa to humans, and stolen pizza for dogs, Wags and woofs, Alfie and Dylan

Hi Max, How are you enjoying this weather. It's starting to turn to slush here, it was all wet and horrible last night - dogs rushed out, and rushed back in again as quickly as possible. Lots of big wet pawprints all over the place - Mum was not pleased. I think that spaniels are especially good at leaving paw prints that appear to be 6 times bigger than the size of the dog - how do they do that?? Alfie and Dylan spent the rest of the evening practicing their harmony snoring - they're now starting to sound quite tuneful...

Hi Max, how are you? All the girlie gundogs are dozing at the moment so it is a rare chance for me to spend some time on DoggySnaps and to pop over and make sure all is well in the worlds of our friends. Everything here is fine except I had forgotten quite how time consuming training a puppy is, but what fun we are having. We have just had the HWV version of the Andrex puppy, thank you Eszti, but we couldn’t help but laugh as we chased the little sod and the rapidly unrolling loo roll around the house. She remains an absolute delight and the stuff going on between her, Sarika and Purdey is simply wonderful to watch. I could have done without them introducing her to slug licking however; it took quite a while to unstick her lips!! She has just started walking on her own off the lead (there is a new video in her kennel, sorry about the idiot sounding commentator!) and so far her recall is brilliant, let us hope it lasts. What with the big girlies charging about too the only sounds now heard from the sitting room in the davidmh household after about 9pm are snoring, both dogs and humans, and farting, dogs only...HONESTLY!!!!! Today’s treat is a carrot; Purdey brought it to me a little while ago so it seems only right to share it. I hope to visit again soon, in the meantime HAVE FUN x.
