Hi Kate, our gorgeous Purdey the Poomonster is TWO years old today, a grown up lady now. Sarika and Max are therefore dropping off some birthday cake and a bottle of pop for you. Enjoy x
Hi Kate, treat 200, well done x...."here we are again, happy as can be".......except we are NOT because it is back in the veterinary nurse's uniform again for me (any excuse!)........ and very fetching, or something, I look too!!! Sarika did another claw yesterday, I think that she hit a stone whilst charging around endeavouring to remind Purdey as to exactly who is the boss. Although there was a lot of blood at the time, it has already healed, so, although she is a bit lame still, that isn't the problem. No, today, instead, nurse David is clearing up after the upset stomachs of those two rather silly girlies who drank some rather unpleasant looking puddle water, no accidents in the house yet, thank goodness, but it is not the easiest thing to deal with in a wet garden! I fail to understand the attraction of stagnant puddle water, not that I have actually tried any but I doubt it has that lovely gooseberry and nettle tang of a nice glass of New Zealand sauvignon wine (do you know, my mouth actually started watering when I typed that!!! - How sad is that?). Anyway today we are dropping off useful stuff, some water purification tablets and, should you forget the tablets, some baby wipes and, most importantly, a bottle of NZ sauvignon for the humans. Have fun x
Mum says we've got 5 minutes to do our 'rounds' so this is the quickest treat run we can do. Crispy bacon and crunchy croutons over a lovely chicken ceasar salad. Licks & woofs from us both, Tim & Laddie xx
Hi Kate, hope all is well with you. We're keeping mum company today cos she's poorly - think it might be kennel cough - so we thought we'd drop by with a treat. Today it is homemade strawberry crumble with icecream. Love Martha Zeb & Ruby xx
Sorry we're only visiting so late, or should that be early, but we've had one of those royal computers delivered, you know the ones, mum calls it king! Consequently, we dashing round everyone's kennel and dropping off a nice portion of roast pork dinner, with crackling and apple sauce and all the trimmings. Hope you enjoy. PS There's applie pie with custard for dessert. Licks & woofs Tim & Laddie xx
Sorry we haven't been round for a while. Here's a nice thick juicy steak with mash and lashings of gravy to help build you back up again. Take care of yourself and I'm sure you'll be fine - those pups will be staying with their new humans and shouldn't bother you again. Remember you still have Barney and he's enough of a handful. Licks & soothing woofs from Tim & Laddie xx
Hi there, we're just on a quick treat round as LIFE is intruding a bit for our human mum and she says she's got more important things to do - what could be more important than saying hi to your friends. Bacon sandwich coming your way - with extra brown sauce. Licks & woofs from your pals Tim & Laddie xx
Hey there friends! Well, mum abandoned us for the whole weekend practically. One reason was work and the other was some sort of flower festival at the church - we don't know what any of it means, but she feels so guilty about leaving us alone for such a long time and not being able to do anything but a short walk that we get loads of goodies. Here is a small selection, of bonios, gravy bones, dentastix, and jumbone, help yourselves! Bye for now, we'll stop by again soon. Licks & woofs from your pals Tim & Laddie xx
Thanks for visiting while we've been away. We've had a great time, even though the weather was dull and drizzly most of the time. Aunty Nicky looked after us and kept sneaking treats to us when mum wasn't looking. We had a smashing walk around Dabton Loch early Saturday morning, and Laddie jumped in a few times for a quick swim, but then we had to leave and drive 6 hours home in the car - what a long tiring journey that was. We're safely home and sleeping a lot at the moment, but we're leaving you some of Aunty Nicky's homemade scones covered in her super homemade raspberry jam and extra thick double cream. Enjoy - because they won't last long. Licks and woofs from your pals, Tim & Laddie xx
We've been stuck indoors again today, with the weather wetter than the winter (try saying that after a few cockertails!). We're leaving early Wednesday for our holiday 'uuup North' and we're both very excited about that. Maybe we'll get to play on the beaches and swim in some of the streams, but we'll definitely get spoiled by mum's aunty - she loves us lots and lots. Anyway, we're emptying out the treats box before we go, so here's some gravy bones and markies with a nice chewy dentastix to keep you going while we're away. Look after yourselves. Licks & woofs from your pals, Tim & Laddie xx
Well, what a booorrrring day we've had! Mum had to go off teaching this morning and she left us home alone - AGAIN! Really, we can't seem to get that portion of her training right - we come first and we should be taken out with her, not left behind - harumph!! Then the wind and rain started and it just hasn't let up all day - we've had to brave the weather just to go in the garden and do what's necessary. However, we've been giving mum our best sad eyes and we're so hard done by looks and so she's compensated with lots of treats. We're hoping for a little better weather tomorrow, so that we can at least get out. Not long now until our holiday with mum - at least we got that right - we'll be leaving early Wednesday morning and mum's been checking and packing and washing and stuff for days. Here's some lovely cauliflower cheese with special mexican burgers and homemade refried beans - yummy - cheese and biscuits for dessert. Enjoy and we'll try and visit everyone before we go away. Licks & woofs from Tim & Laddie xx
