Hi Bill, NOT THE BEST 24 HOURS. First of all Max did a “fish fart”, unfortunately he was sitting on my lap at the time. Owners of older dogs will probably know about fish farts, owners of younger dogs have a treat in store. I am not articulate enough to describe the noxious lingering pong that results. Then on our walk Sarika came back lame, by the looks of things she got a stone caught in her paw, no cuts but bruises. While I was sorting her out I noticed that Purdey had trailed some mud on the floor. I picked it up and sniffed it....WHY DID I DO THAT? WHY DID I PICK IT UP? WHY ON EARTH DID I SNIFF IT? It is fair to say that I now regret picking it up and, very particularly, sniffing it. The little darling had obviously walked in what she normally rolls in, deer poo I think. I very nearly joined my clothes in the washing machine. So indeed NOT THE BEST 24 HOURS and now there is the next 24 to look forward to, OH DEAR. Today the girls are sending over some spare kisses and Max is sending a cork and a nose clip. PS Despite being well snogged Tommy didn’t turn into a prince, perhaps because he is a toad rather than a frog? But at least he has a smile on his face now! x
Hi, Its Izzie and I have some funny news for you. Murdoch escaped! It was worrying and funny at the time because after him being with his family for such a long time and they have always told him to stay and he has but for some reason today he got out of the garden on to the main road and his mummy had to chase him back into the garden! It sort of emabrassed me to know my coision escaped! I have never escaped from my garden before. Am a good dog and a good girl togeter. Anyway thanks for being my friend. It means I have someone to tell my funny storys to. Leaving you some chicken love Izzie xxxxxxxxxx
Hi Bill, I have been painting with my tail & for days had a 'Applewhite' designer tail with delicate flicks on the ends, the cats have been keeping me busy, bit scared of Tigger, he sometimes blocks me in the kitchen & I have to bark so my Mum & Dad can remove him to enable me to get pass, it is those sharp things at the end of his claws, I don't like, he is into everything, the washing machine, dishwasher, he jumps onto my Mum back & she has to piggyback him to the settee, he has even learnt how to paw out the cat food out of tins. Do you remember Arthur, the white cat on TV a few years back?, he has copied that trick. Zebedee, sadly has been catching birds, we tried to save them, but as you know, once a cat catches one, sadly their fate is sealed, she attempted to revitalised one with water, he did respond but a few seconds later died in her hands. To human news, my Mum tried to set the kitchen alight, she made some watercress homemade soup & turn down the gas when she did something else, forgot to turn it off completely & when later put down her favourite doggy fleece on the stove ready for the next wash, went out to hang the first wash on the line, needless to say, the fleece went up in flames, she was so cross with herself for being so silly but it could have been a lot worse, if it had been Dad's shorts she could have replaced them from M&S but this fleece was a one off. I have been off my medication apart from joint care, to see how I fare, still get tired and I still get a limp but now the weather is cooler, it doesn't seem as bad, I tend to run around like a mad thing for the first 5 minutes & then run out of energy, if I meet my friend Susie, she keeps me going while the Mums chat. I am leaving you some Cullen Skink, my Mum has learnt her lesson & always double checks the gas ring is turned off. Love, Dylan xx xx
Hi, I’m just popping by to say cheerio for a couple of weeks as Mum will be very busy tomorrow…she’s getting ready to desert us. She will be back as soon as the laundry has been finished on her return. Looks after yourself, Karla and I will miss you. Leaving you a treat & a big ((((hug)))) until we get back, Waggy tails. Belle & Karla xx. ♥♥♥
Hi, Well I’m still not happy with Mum leaving me but after a chat to the dog next door I realise it could be worse (he has to go to kennels with total strangers) at least I’ll be snug in my own home with my human sis. Karla keeps practising her “I need a treat” looks but sometimes she looks more like someone is standing on her paw….. I suppose I’d better show her how its done.. although she’ll never pull it off with the same finesse as a spaniel lol . Well how’s your day going & leaving you a treat, Waggy tails. Belle & Karla xx.
(Belle sneaks out from her sulking position under the dining table to say) Hi, how’s your day going & leaving you a treat, Waggy tails. Belle & Karla xx.
Hi Karla here as Belle is hiding under the dinner table sulking. Mum has got out the BIG bags out and she doesn’t like it one bit. I’ve told her not to worry as we can work on human sis for extra walks & treats while mum & dad are away but thre seems no consoling her. Mum’s not a lot better either she really, really hates flying and all the scareyplane incidents that have happened of late are not helping at all. I’ve six days to work on a really sad expression to use on human sis. Lol Leaving a treat for you, waggy tails Karla & Belle
Hi, Just got back from our walk, gosh there are some glorious puddles out there. Hope you’re having a good weekend too. leaving you a treat, Waggy tails. Belle & Karla xx.
Hi, Sorry we’ve not been around this week but it’s been another chaotic one, first the bad news…. human granddad had a mini stroke, but is recovering really well considering. Now for some good news Human brother has been brought home early from Afghanistan for a promotions course. To be honest we don’t care if he passes of fails it we are just glad he’s safely back in the UK. Paws crossed we may even get to see him soon. We are just popping by with a treat. Take care, Belle, Karla & Mum x x
Hello Puppy Bill and the gang, just thought I would pop round to see how you are?? Me I am fine, just having a lazy day at my Auntys. Mum and dad loved the races on Saturday, mum lost a tenner, dad lost forty but luckily won on the very last race of the day. And they both enjoyed watching Boyzone performing at the end as well. Mum was apparently dancing and singing away to the songs!!! Treat and kiss love One-eye and Taz xxxxxxx
