Hi Ollie, hope you are well. We are back from our holiday in Lincolnshire and we all had a very good time, we will add some photos soon, the dogs especially enjoyed Skegness beach all that sand as it's just pebbles were we are and it was dog friendly. Now for the news on Jacks x-ray, the vet said he has a torn ligament or something in his knee and scar tissue so it wont get any better (not sure what it all means can anyone explain) and he also has artheritis in his hips so he is now on metacam for the rest of his life as it keeps the inflamation down and so relives the pain. Bubble and squeak is your treat for today xxx

Hi Ollie, how are you, soon to be numb gum David here today. I managed to break a front tooth vertically again yesterday, it serves me right for eating broken biscuit cake straight from the fridge (I blame she who has just got back from university, I hid the cake so she wouldn't pinch it!). "That is a very crunchy biscuit" I thought until I found the gap in my tooth. I am temporarily being referred to as FANG but at least my soon-to be visited dentist is beautiful. All is well here otherwise, glorious weather and all the doggies are enjoying life. As a treat we are sending over a bit of broken biscuit cake (if you find any very crunchy bits perhaps you could let me have them back) x

Hi there, hope you are well, our silly mummy has gone and caught a cold but luckily daddy has had this week off work, mummy better get well soon or she won't feel like walking us and that would be just horrible. They have ordered a paddling pool for us though and wish it would hurry up and come so we can get in it. Leaving you some chicken soup today xxx PS if you want to vote for Bally please remember voting ends on sunday at 5PM 25th May, thank you.

Hi Ollie, the work on the doggies only ark has stopped!!! Not because of workers industrial action (when I say workers I use the term very loosely as I, of course, refer to Sarika, Purdey, Maxwell and me and Maxwell is asleep and the other three of us are pretty useless at ark building!), not because of poor pay or long hours or union policy. Nope, work has stopped on HDS (His David's Ship) WOOF because the sun has come out. It is dry and warm and long may it remain so. Following various incidents featuring my fingers and thumbs, the hammer and me, I am sure that I heard a sigh of relief from the aforementioned digits (those that remain) when we decided to down tools. As a result, today the girlies and dobes are delivering some Soltan factor 25 sun lotion, a knotted handkerchief (also known as my sunhat) and my hammer (because it will be safer if you look after it). Have fun x

Hi there how are you? seem to have had a busy week but if you ask what doing I wouldn't know what to say, I expect we all get times like that! Jack says thanks for all the birthday comments and goodies he enjoyed them very much, but I did have to keep an eye on him to make sure he shared them and to make sure he didn't eat too much at once, he is a bit of a pig really. Todays treat is peanut butter sandwiches and ginger beer xxx

Hi Ollie, a quick visit today because the sun has just come out and Sarika and Purdey are now standing by the front door. Could be a clue David? I have just made some fishcakes - salmon, coriander, green beans, egg and thai red curry paste - so we are dropping some off for you and yours as today's treat. Enjoy.

Hi Ollie, how are you? It is veterinary nurse David here as once again we have had an incident of Sarika, a tennis ball, a paw and a claw. The poor thing managed to tear another claw/nail bed yesterday when spinning around after the aforementioned tennis ball. What a lot of blood. The bandaged one is fine now, resting her head on my lap as I type - Ahhhhhhhhhhh. Tough girl Purdey is wondering what all the fuss is about and Max would have an opinion but he is sleeping. Today's treats are useful - a vetrap bandage, some gamgee gauze tissue, a melolin dressing, a dog biscuit (for distracting the others) and my nurse's uniform...and the less said about THAT the better! Have fun x

Hi Ollie, great news, I am pleased to announce that Star Wars Jabba the Hutt is alive and well and living in Berkshire! It is ME. Or should that be Mr Blobby as never have I, David, scoffed so much as I did over Easter? And it was wondeful!!! It is why I haven't managed to get on DoggySnaps - first I got stuck in an armchair and then I couldn't see the computer keyboard for chins (mine). Back on the diet next week methinks. All three of the doggies are absolutely fine, Her Princessliness Sarika was lame following tearing a claw up into the nail bed but is now 100%, Purdey the ponging poomonster hasn't found anything delectable to roll in recently so all walks are currently approached with trepidation and, like his "dad", the old fellow and champion botty burper Maxwell is also perking up a bit now that spring is, hopefully, about to.... spring. To help me out they are delivering things for your humans which I will not now be needing ie various Cadbury products - 3 tubes of mini eggs, 6 cream eggs, 4 packets of chocolate raisins ( a mix of milk, plain and white chocolate... yummy...in fact, on refection they are so yummy it will only be 3 packets!!!!) and 2 very large bars of fruit and nut chocolate. And something more doggy appropriate for you, a slice of smoked salmon. Enjoy x

Hi Ollie, THE GOOD NEWS, it is DDDD65 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 65) and yesterday was weigh day...guess what, 1 stone 2 lb gone now. I am very chuffed because I did scoff a lot of really yummy stuff at the wedding on Saturday. I guess that the excess has gone because it has got jolly cold here and I have exercised and shivered it off. Turning off the central heating and keeping all the windows open was clearly one of my better ideas although I am not convinced that Mrs Davidmh agrees, it is the first time she has ever had a bath while wearing gloves and a hat!!! Ho Ho (only joking but what a very good idea...Hmmmmm...!). And now the doggies: well, they are all blooming, the girls are getting plenty of exercise and Max is slowly increasing his awake hours. THE UGH NEWS, speaking of Max, he had an "accident" of the "dumping" type in the kitchen yesterday; guess who cleared it up? It wasn't him, it wasn't me or the begloved and behatted wife and, of course, it wasn't the princessliness Sarika. Purdey cleared it up, if you know what I mean! As a result the Poomonster will not be kissing me in the near future! THE TREAT NEWS, I made a thai red prawn curry for Mrs Davidmh yesterday and there is some left over so the girls and doberdog are dropping that off with some sticky rice. Enjoy x
