Thank you dear friend for your tribute to my lovely Penny, we are so heartbroken she had to go so young but we have many wonderful memories and photos to look back on, she was a very special girl and I am so glad she had such wonderful friends on Doggysnaps who have helped us so much over the past week xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

What sweet and beautiful dogs you have. Thanks for visiting Maximus, and taking the time to write a note.

Hi, Macrahanish is down at the bottom of Argyll almost opposite Ireland, we were on the road to Campbelltown, but never got there. Glad to hear Blossom is shaping up. Hektor is very much happier to be home. He has been down the Park playing with his best friend Mr Chang who also did not like going on holiday, so now he is completely bushed and is thankfully sleeping. Funny thing maybe it was because the other two were so much older and settled when we started to go away on holiday, they never bothered. I think that is probably the reason. Hektor is still unsure of the rest of the world but he knows his territory. My friend who has Chang is moving house shortly and though he is 17 months now, I wonder how he is going to settle. Anyway being Scots we just have to take the weather as it comes, and it usually does. Hear from you again. Regards Helena

Hi, Don't know if I can give you much in the way of advice but I too was unused to puppies either after old Henry went. I had Hektor on the lead at home walking up and down the hall. Don't know if I have been all that successful as he bounces home from is walk pulling on the lead. He will walk properly going out but I think it is excitement on the way back. I am trusting on him growing up. Looking back over the past months, he has changed so much, the chewing on the whole has stopped unless he is really tired. He is great with other people and children and dogs. My Husband says he still treats the familiar with contempt which brings him into conflict at home , but we are getting there and I am sure you and Blossom, who is gorgeous by the way, will do the same.

Hi, your Blossom is gorgeous, and I bet she is quite a shock. I know, because our Hektor has proved to be. He is the complete opposite to the other three pugs in our lives. I think it is good that you changed breeds because sometimes it is very difficult especially when you lost your dog recently, to get a similar one. I think you will get on very well with Blossom, I don't think that they are difficult dogs to rear.

Hi can't wait to see your new puppy. Hektor and I meet a beautiful white Lhasa on our walks. I thought he was a Bichon from the distance, all black eyes and nose but it turned out to be this pure white powder puff. I think that Shih Tzu's, Lhasa's and Pugs have very similar natures so you will find that it will be a great little companion, mind you the latest one in my house is so different from the two that came before that I even had the Vet checking for a zip in case I had a JR masquerading as a Pug. Regards Helena
