Hi Poppy, NEWS FLASH....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH..... ANOTHER SHOCK HORROR AWE FILLED SENSATION. People of Berkshire in the United of Kingdoms have been stunned by the incredible news from the davidmh kennel. Her Princessliness Sarika ....... a member of The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Royal Household, she of the ”butter wouldn’t melt” expression, she of the human eyes and the perfumed botty burps, the Laydee of the Month of Lurve, also known as Her Gorgeousness and, by Purdey, as Miss Goody Twoshoes............ has disgraced herself. On a walk this morning she did a Purdey, SHE ROLLED IN SOMETHING UNMENTIONABLE AND VERY SMELLY. Her human slave (now on tranquillisers) and the incorrigible one, the Poomonster, looked on in complete bewilderment. The sleeping dobes has yet to express an opinion. TV news crews from the Doggy Channel are on site and the Ambulance Service are administering to many stunned passers-by. What next?!!!! Will Sarika become the Poomonster? Will Purdey give up her title willingly? Will Max wake up? A bottle of pop and a fillet steak for you while we are waiting for answers to these fundamental questions. x

Hi Poppy, how are you? Something extraordinary happened here earlier........THE SUN WAS SHINING. Based on the year so far, and the weather forecast, this could have been the summer so it was walkies time along the river with the girlies and, yes, dobes too, although he needed to be carried after 50 yards! Today’s treats, apart from our good wishes and some pork sausages, are a sunshade and, just in case the forecast is correct, an umbrella. Back soon but my ability to sort out a new computer arriving today will determine when! Have fun x PS It is raining again.

Hi Poppy, Lu and Mack, how are you all??? So sorry I haven't been around for ages, it's my mum and the 'busy' thing again I'm afraid. Hope you are all fine and are having a lovely summer! Not that it's been much of a summer has it, more like the rainy season! Anyway, hope your mum has managed to enjoy some of it with you and has enjoyed some dry days! I just really wanted to let you all know that I haven't forgotten about you, and I do think about the three of you, especially when I'm on the beach! I'm sending you all a HUGE bag of treats and lots and lots of love and hugs, Harry xxx

Hi Pops, Lu and Mack, how are you all? It was great to see you the other day and to catch up on all the news! Think my mum needs to brush up on the skills if she's sending messages 3 times! I keep telling her I want my own computer then I can please myself when I visit my pals and don't have to wait for her to stop being 'busy'! Sounds like you've been having fun in the lovely weather, I have too, and I really love sunbathing in the back garden I must say! Oh no about the doggy b&b! But it will probably be great you know as at least you're all together and it's only for a little while. My mum's off to Spain to visit relatives for a long weekend and I'm going to stay with my Auntie Lynn which will be great fun. She's got 3 dogs of her own and one of them is my gorgeous girlfriend Biscuit, so I can't wait! Actually, I really wish my mum would go away more! Anyway, hope you've all been having fun and I look forward to seeing you again soon. My treats are a big kong each and a huge bowl of ice cream and also a big hug each. See you soon, lots of love, Harry xxx

Hi Poppy, well this was meant to be HOORAY it is good news (and a piece of sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce) but now it is HOORAY it is good news (and a piece of sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce).............. and OH NO it is bad news. The good news is that the enormous beetle has gone. The tape of Heather Mills worked like a dream, it frightened the living daylights out the beetle which was last seen heading for Heathrow, almost closely followed by us lot, the tape WAS very scary. So we were all very pleased and kissing and cuddling AND then we saw THE SPIDER! I wouldn't say the spider is big but think about the size of a saucer (a proper saucer not one of those poncy demitasse numbers) and add a bit, quite a LARGE bit. We tried the Lady McCartney tape and the Mick Jagger photograph and it was not moved, in fact it didn't move at all. What do we do now, we are all very hungry and in various stages of crossleggedness back behind this bloody sofa? If you cannot get David Attenborough at the very least is there any chance of a bucket, ideally empty?!!!!!!!! x

Hi Poppy, well that was a fun couple of days, weatherwise. If you like paddling, swimming, snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, fishing, jet and water-skiing and sailing then my back garden was the place to be this weekend, we had so much rain. It is also the first time I have actually considered wearing my fishing chest waders for dog walking - what a picture that would have been, fortunately for all concerned the thought of being seen dissuaded me! Anyway, at the moment, it is not raining so the girls and dobes are dropping off a spare photograph of the sun (no, not the newspaper, that big yellow thing that is meant to be in the sky round here), some broken biscuit cake (because I made one yesterday) and my fishing chest waders (because the dogs, like me, don't want to be seen out with me if I am wearing them!!!). Have fun x

Hi Poppy, today the girls and dobes are sending over a large matchbox. Open it very carefully because in it you will find a rather large live beetle found by Purdey yesterday morning. We are sending it over in hope that you will know what to do with it because it is scaring the living daylights out of Purdey, Sarika and Mr Wimp (ie me!). I think Max is actually pretending to be asleep so that he doesn't have to get involved! PS I'm having a "seventies" moment (not age, just the decade) and have made a lemon meringue pie, so a piece of that is enclosed too (but not in the matchbox because that beetle is so SCARY. Have fun x.

Hi Pops, Lu and Mack - how are you all?! Sorry I've not been around for a while, my mum's been doing the usual, which is being busy (boring)!!! Anyway, she's brought me into the office today so I've had a chance to get on the computer and I'm making the most of it! Hope you and your humans are all okay, did your mum manage to find a nice place for a holiday and did she decide where you are all going to go?! I'm sure it'll be fun wherever you go! I've been playing with my doggy pals lots, and joy oh joy (well, for my mum anyway) it's was dry for one whole day at the weekend! She's getting fed up with me (cheek) because I just used to jump in the bath for a shower no problem, but now I won't do it most of the time, so she has to chase me in, then I jump out too soon and the mess is awful, so she says anyway. I'm not bothered personally, can't see what the problem is! So she really hopes it stays sunny, and I hope the sun shines where you are too, and I bet your mum does too! I've been on ...... the beach today with my Uncle John, it was great and really cool in the sea where I lost my best bouncy ball though :(, never mind, I think my mum will get me a new one soon (hope so). Anyway, it's great to catch up with you again, I've really missed you all! Take good care and my treats to you all are a sausage sandwich each, a frisbee each and a kong each too! Have fun, lots of love and hugs, Harry xxxxxx

Hi Poppy, how are you? We have had a lot of rain here over the weekend and the tracks have turned into muddy streams. Now I was never a Boy Scout but I remember their motto "Be Prepared", so I have decided it is time to build a boat, just in case we get more floods. I was going to call it an ARK but then I thought "No er, someone has already done that". So I have decided to call it a BARK. Not BARK as in sailing ship but BARK as in WOOF. In fact, on reflection, I shall call it a WOOF.... DAVID'S WOOF.......that has got a nice ring about it, don't you think? Anyway, it is for doggies only so let me know if you would like to reserve a place on DAVID'S WOOF, reasonable rates. Yesterday I made some thai fishcakes which were yummy so the girls, doberdog and I are sending some over with sweet chilli sauce. Got to go now because there are people at the door, OOH ER it is the men in white coats!! Have fun x

Hi Poppy, Lulu and Mack! How are you all? Sorry I haven't been around for a while, but my mum's been 'up to her eyes' apparently, whatever that means, so I haven't been able to get near the PC at all, so I'm jumping in now while I get the chance! Thanks for visiting me the other week, it was lovely to hear from you all as always and sorry I missed Poppy's first birthday, hope you had a lovely day! My mum's been doing a lot of dragging that big noisy thing around too - I hate it! What she usually does is wait until I'm not there, then run round the house like mad, because I bark like mad and growl at it if it's making its noise when I'm there! Anyway, hope you've had a good week and have had lots of fun together. My treats to you all are a great big plate of fish fingers each, and ice cream and jelly for afters! See you all soon, lots of love and hugs, Harry xxx

Hi Poppy, how are you? I hoped that spring had sprung, if it has I think it has now sprung back into its box because it has been icy cold here. And talking of spring, Sarika did a somersault/back flip yesterday, I shall call it a "Purdey" which is also a bit of a clue as to the outcome. She was chasing a tennis ball which bounced over her head, in her excitement she leapt in the air and did a back flip after the ball .........and landed straight in something disgusting. I think that it had previously "belonged" to a deer or a badger! Sarika was mortified, she is after all a LADY and so was I, because, somehow or other, I ended up with some of it on me. I am simply not articulate enough to describe the awfulness of the stench, not without using a fair number of swearwords anyway. Ugh..Ugh..and treble Ugh!!! Thank goodness for tomato puree (Sarika) and anti bacterial handwash (me)and the washing machine (my clothes). And Purdey clearly smiled when she saw what had happened to both Her Majesty and me (her slave), she was also quite clearly trying to work out how to get some of the pong by rolling on Sarika and/or me. Today's treat therefore is an absolute essential now, a non-bouncing tennis ball. And I am off to check my hands again. Have fun x

Hi Poppy, how are you? I have had a BRILLIANT idea. I have put BRILLIANT in capitals because it REALLY is. I have two hairy gundogs who are currently moulting into their summer coats - Sarika (injured paw much better) a bit, Purdey a lot. Purdey is shedding so much hair I thought we had a new puppy the other day, in fact I had already named it before I realised it was just Purdey cast offs! So two doggies with hair to spare...and then of course there is Max, who is certainly follically challenged ie bald...and then there is me. Now I wouldn't say I was bald but I was in a bank the other day, in a queue, when I noticed the security tv was showing the queue. On the screen there was some chap and the light was reflecting off his bald bits which seemed to cover his entire head. I was just thinking who is that poor bald "person of unknown parentage" when I realised who it was. Hmmmmmmm. So I have got dogs with spare hair and I've got Max the baldy and me. Simple, collect the hair, add a bit of glue and Max and I will be new hairy men - BRILLIANT. I am just not too sure about the colours - gold and dark grey - so we are sending some tufts over with a tube of super glue. See what you think. Have fun x

Hi Poppy, great news, I am pleased to announce that Star Wars Jabba the Hutt is alive and well and living in Berkshire! It is ME. Or should that be Mr Blobby as never have I, David, scoffed so much as I did over Easter? And it was wonderful!!! It is why I haven't managed to get on DoggySnaps - first I got stuck in an armchair and then I couldn't see the computer keyboard for chins (mine). Back on the diet next week methinks. All three of the doggies are absolutely fine, Her Princessliness Sarika was lame following tearing a claw up into the nail bed but is now 100%, Purdey the ponging poomonster hasn't found anything delectable to roll in recently so all walks are currently approached with trepidation and, like his "dad", the old fellow and champion botty burper Maxwell is also perking up a bit now that spring is, hopefully, about to.... spring. To help me out they are delivering things for your humans which I will not now be needing ie various Cadbury products - 3 tubes of mini eggs, 6 cream eggs, 4 packets of chocolate raisins ( a mix of milk, plain and white chocolate... yummy...in fact, on refection they are so yummy it will only be 3 packets!!!!) and 2 very large bars of fruit and nut chocolate. And something more doggy appropriate for you, a slice of smoked salmon. Enjoy x
