Afternoon Gem. Hope all is well where you are. It is freezing cold here today. Mum has said I can start wearing my new coat soon. It is bright purple and very fetching! I saw a hare on my walk this morning. It was huge, and it just stared at me, before racing away. It was very, very fast so I just let it run. It was far too fast for me to even think about chasing it! Hehe! Take care my friend, and stay warm. Treat today is a hot water bottle and a hat and scarf! Hi Gem and gang, Jack here, I've had a quiet week this week, Mum has been taking me out for a walk on most mornings as Claire has been working extra hours again, I went to the vets for my annual injections on Thursday - usually the women vet sees me but this time I had the male vet, I had to tell him how dominate I was so I give him my best growls (especially when he looked at my teeth), well he told Claire off as I was a bit over weight and they have put me on a special diet - which tastes disgusting - not like my usual Bakers. Anyway today I'm sending you my portion of Bacon as I'm not allowed to have any this morning Take Care Luv Jack

Hi Gem. We haven't been around for a while, what with mum's work commitments, human son using the computer for homework, and the computer keep crashing, but we are pleased to say that things seem to have settled down now. We are happy you are living with Wendy, we know you are good company for her. We will try and drop by as often as we can. Mum has a two week break coming up in a fortnight so hopefully she will be able to help us out with our messages to all our friends. Take care and we will see you again very soon. Afternoon Gem. Hope you are well today. It's a terrible day here. The rain is torrential and it is so cold. I have just come back from a walk, and am now a Fluffy Monster as mum has dried me with my soft towel and I am all fluff! hehe! I will be groomed to within an inch of my life later!!! hey gem, how's it going? sorry not been around for a bit but lots been going on. I was the victim of another dog attack and now it seems I'm getting old enough to have stiff joints! Hope you are well. Dad has been away for a few days golfing in spain so mum and me have been taking care of each other. I stay by her bed all night, but still she doesn't sleep much without him here. We have had lots of cuddles and lots of time together which has been nice, but I'l be glad to see dad tomorrow. My legs are still bad and I heard mum telling dad that it might mean a vet visit. Guess we'll see how I go and what he thinks when he gets back. Hope you've had a great week and been enjoying the autumn sunshine. Sending you some denta stix love dixonxxx

Hi Gem and gang, sorry I haven't been around for the past week, but Claire has been very busy with work, i made her feel very guilty about it this morning and so she took me to Pets at Home she brought me a new bed, some toys (I especially like a green ball, that sqeaks when I try to bite it) and some treats - Bakers Walkies and Denti sticks. Afternoon Gem. Hope all is well with you today. It's a beautiful Autumn day here - quite chilly but sunny. I had a lovely long hike this morning, and was quite tired when I got home, but mum has said we are off on the same walk later this afternoon. I bet I sleep well tonight! Hehe! My hedgehog pals are still visiting my garden. They were there last night, having a right feast and again, I wasn't allowed out until they had gone! Hi Gem, how have you been? I've been enjoying the late summer sunshine. Lots of helping out to do in the garden so busy, busy!! I've just been sitting at the gate watching all the children going home from school. I had a few woofs at them!! Mummy has been watching Cesar the Dog Whisperer on TV, and now she realises I am better behaved than most of those dogs, hehe!! She has been trying out some of his ideas on me too! Hello Gem, Well it looks like our summer is 100% over!!?? We have rain in Wiltshire today, not happy about that. I had to see the ‘nice’ vet again this morning (mum was putting makeup on at 6.30am!!), my anal abscess he believes is all cleared up, no more pills for me….yippee!! Afternoon Gem. Hope all is well with you today. It is another lovely day here - dry but chilly. Just the sort of day I like! Well, I now have two hedgehogs residing in my garden! Mum went out yesterday to buy them some proper food, but the pet shop was all sold out, so she ended up buying kitten food instead! Apparently, they love that too. She also bought two little dishes for them! She put the food out last night at 7.30 and it was gone within the hour so they love it! They will now bring all their friends and have a party in my garden. I can see it happening! I needed to go out last night, so before she let me out, off mum went, armed with a torch on hedgehog hunt. She said I would frighten them if I went out. How very dare she? I hope my neighbours feel sorry for me - seeing my mum all hunched over, wandering round the garden with a torch, chattering away in the pitch black! What a life I have with this woman! She did buy me a new toy yesterday though, so she can't be that bad - I suppose! hehe! Take care my friend and treat today is a chunk of chocolate cake. Hi Gem, what a lovely weekend, perhaps THAT was our long awaited summer? We walked up the Thames a couple of times and much fun was had by all....well, except perhaps for the duck which Purdey chased.....or the tennis ball which Sarika managed to sink.... it is a tough life being a tennis ball round here! The weekend’s big news was that Sarika and Purdey found a new friend who we are calling Tommy (pic in kennel if you can get there!). Max hasn’t met Tommy (who might even be a prince, who knows) because dobes opted for sleep rather than exercise. Because of Tommy the girlies are sending over a HALL.....Purdey wanted to send mouthwash too but that is her problem, serves her right for picking up Tommy with her mouth......all will become obvious, hopefully. Well Hello Gem! What a wonderful weekend weather wise eh? We have been good this week, I was even left out of my crate when daddy went back to work and I didn’t even chew anything! Vester has been his usual self, lazy, but he had a BIG moment this morning, he was let of his lead for the very first time in a year! He was good and didn’t even realise he was off! Heidi on the other hand, well…. She’s still game hunting and just a few minutes ago brought in a butterfly and deposited it on the carpet in front of mummy, who at the moment looks like daddy hit her as she has a fat lip due to some surgery to remove a cyst inside her lip. As for me, well I went training again this morning and was a model dog, did everything right first time, so lots of sausages for me, he he he…… Anyway we have Nanny coming next weekend so it will be good to meet her, she’s doesn’t know what she’s letting herself in for…ha ha ha… anyway better go check on that sister of mine, see what else she’s chasing…. Afternoon Gem. Hope all is well where you are. It is another beautiful day here. I had a long wander with mum this morning and had a whale of a time. All the leaves are falling off the trees and they are great for snuffling about in. Hehe! I took my Blue Bear with me, and a lady stopped me to ask me if I was taking MY doggy for a walk!
