Hi Lorraine, just read your question, well youre not alone! Had this trouble with Finn, to the point my arm was bruised from shoulder to knuckles! I think Millie is trying to dominate you. What I had to do with Finn ( and its the hardest thing I ever had to do!) is completely ignore him, no play no interaction, no stroking- only on my terms, and then I walked away. Also seporated him from me, that is he was in a different room. Also didnt walk him for 4 days as thats when he would start on me. I know how hard it can be, but its the best way, nothing hurts a dog more than ignoring it. Ok at times I felt like beating him to within an inch of his life! but that does no good to hit a dog. We also got a soft muzzle, (he hates it on sight now!) which went on for a few minutes, its an uphill struggle at that age, but am sure with perseverence you`ll both get there in the end! Good luck. xxxx
