Yoo hoo , Jeddy B's back , nana came out of hospital so we may get back to some normality not living at the hospital , how gorgeous is this weather ??? Possible BBQ weather we might have one later apparantly the last one mam & Dad had lasted 12 hrs how much food can they eat ?? Sorry correction the games & drinking lasted all that time , by the end most of the street were involved !! ( Few hangovers a good possibility ) I have bought a box of resolve as seen in my photo so if you require one for your slaves let me know . Leaving you a doggy beer to have this afternoon as you chill in the sun . Love your friend Jeddy B x
Hi Mystique, how are you? Getting older has simply nothing to recommend it, I realised that this morning when I was looking for my glasses. I knew that, being as blind as the proverbial bat, I had absolutely no hope of finding them unless I was actually wearing them, if you SEE what I mean. And I will not mention the senile moments which seem to come now with increasing frequency - did I shut the door? which door? why did I go upstairs? what was that I said I wouldn't forget? And the worrying thing is that I still have the male menopause to come!!!! Anyway, at least the doggies are all flourishing, the girlie gundogs spark each other off and seem to be in a permanent state of puppydom and it is wonderful and long may it last. And although Dobes is obviously beginning to feel his age and is sleeping most of the time, he remains a happy little chap. And none of them have to wear spectacles, the lucky sods. Today the threesome are delivering a bird's feather found by Purdey on our walk, a hair tie (Sarika's favourite toy, she loves it put on her nose) and a duvet (slightly used) from Max...oh yes, and an empty spectacle case. Have fun x
****THE GROOM’S SPEECH****
Before I begin I would like us to toast all of our beautiful departed friends, who I know will be looking down and sharing this day with us from Rainbow Bridge. We love and miss you all dearly and wish you could have been right here with us in Bermuda. Also to our friends that couldn’t make it for a number of reasons - please raise your glasses “TO ABSENT FRIENDS”
The first thing I must say is, I am sure you will all agree that my darling Fluffy is the most stunningly beautiful bride. When I laid eyes on her under the funny tree, my heart did somersaults and dances and skipped a few beats. It is a moment I will cherish forever along with many other cherished moments we’ve had and still have to come. My darling thank you for making me the happiest boy in the world. I will spend my life trying to make you as happy as you have made me.
On behalf of my wife and I, I would like to thank Father Ted for such a beautiful service, it was perfect. And your first time too. I knew you would do us proud buddy. I am sure you will all agree that he makes a fine vicar and I think Teddy, that you will be getting many more bookings coming your way very soon.
Thank you to Mr Ben for consenting to give Fluffy away today. I know it was a hard thing to do because you have been her friend and protector for so long. You were her first friend on DS and you looked after her and helped her and I am sure you always will. For that, I will be eternally grateful. I promise you wholeheartedly that I will love and cherish Fluffy forever and I will protect her with my life. (ooh and I’ll only leave petals and chocolates on her pillow hehehehee)
A big thank you to my best mate and best man Maxy for looking after me at the stag weekend, and last night, and made sure I was still in one piece for today (Fluffy is so relieved and grateful). You did a great job today buddy, no one could have done it better. Great speech. Cheers. Guinness on me later buddy.
Thank you to our ushers and sons, Jeddy B (as he is now known), Ash and Marley you have done a wonderful job today and have kept all of our guests very happy. I must also say, what handsome boys you are, and we are so proud of you.
Thank you to our beautiful bridesmaids Jenny and Shadow. I am sure you all agree, they really do look beautiful. I know girls that you have worked really hard in the weeks leading up to the wedding and have helped Fluffy with the arrangements so much. I don’t think we could have done it without you.
A big thank you to our little flower girls/grandpuppies Jinx, Buffy, Pepsi and our newest little grandpup Kizzie, and to our pageboys Frankie and Dinky (our grandpuppies) and to Burrendah and Jarrah the koalas rescued from Heathrow Airport, who Fluffy and I officially adopted when we got engaged. You all did a wonderful job today and you all look so gorgeous. Fluffy and I are so proud of you all. Little Kizzie you did so well to not eat the flowers, we know how hard it was to resist. You can eat them now if you like.
Thank you to Ella and Apollo for pulling the carriage. You both look absolutely wonderful and did a fantastic job. I saw you both chatting away afterwards I and must say you look great together. Could we have a budding romance here? Equestrian wedding bells in the future and maybe the clipperty of little hooves one day. That would be lovely.
Last but certainly not least a big big thank you to everyone here for sharing in our special day. Especially as all of you had to travel such a long way. You all accepted that without question and are still here with us, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It wouldn’t have been the same without you. The resort is open to you all tonight and for tomorrow Fluffy and I have laid on a glass bottom boat trip as a thank you for being here with us. (Fluffy’s idea, isn’t she wonderful?)
Well the bar is open, the food is laid out and the music is ready to play. Enjoy the celebrations everyone. LETS PARTY. CHEERS. Fluffy may I have the first dance.
Hi Mystique, "here we are again, happy as can be".......except we are NOT because it is back in the veterinary nurse's uniform again for me (any excuse!)........ and very fetching, or something, I look too!!! Sarika did another claw yesterday, I think that she hit a stone whilst charging around endeavouring to remind Purdey as to exactly who is the boss. Although there was a lot of blood at the time, it has already healed, so, although she is a bit lame still, that isn't the problem. No, today, instead, nurse David is clearing up after the upset stomachs of those two rather silly girlies who drank some rather unpleasant looking puddle water, no accidents in the house yet, thank goodness, but it is not the easiest thing to deal with in a wet garden! I fail to understand the attraction of stagnant puddle water, not that I have actually tried any but I doubt it has that lovely gooseberry and nettle tang of a nice glass of New Zealand sauvignon wine (do you know, my mouth actually started watering when I typed that!!! - How sad is that?). Anyway today we are dropping off useful stuff, some water purification tablets and, should you forget the tablets, some baby wipes and, most importantly, a bottle of NZ sauvignon for the humans. Have fun x
Hey Mysticque and Jade. Sorry I haven't been in for a while. How are you? I am great, excited about my forthcoming wedding to my gorgeous Fluffy. As you know the date is set for Saturday 26th April. It will be held in Bermuda under Fluffy's funny tree. Hope you can be there. Will let you know about the reception afterwards. Well it has been a real funny day today, bit o sun, lots of rain, hail, bit more sun, I have been sooo confused :( So glad its the weekend. Got mummy, daddy and sis home for a couple of days now, and next week daddy is on nights so I got someone home all day :D yipppeeee. I am sending you spare ribs. Take care my friend. Big wags and woofs, love Sam xxxxxxxx
Hi Mystique. How are you? We're fine. Not much has been happening today. We had to go for a walk in our new rain macs today because the weather was horrible! :( Mummy's been taking some more pictures of us, hopefully they'll be on doggysnaps in the next couple of days! :) Your treat today is some cherry muffins...enjoy! Lots of love from Buffy & Pepsi ..x..x..x..
Hi Mystique, how are you doing? It’s been lovely and sunny here but cold, every time mum and I got tempted to go outside for a break we headed straight back in again. Even Ella was happy to be wearing her rugs for now, although she misses not being able to have a good roll and deposit loads of fur on the ground! Being a very sleek girl I don’t loose much, just those little short hairs that creep in everywhere driving mum mad. Today I’m leaving you salmon with fresh vegetables. Lots of love Ellie and Ella xxxxxxxxx
Hi Mystique, how are you today? A quick visit from us because I've got a new camera, the sun is shining and the supermodels, Sarika and Purdey, are ready to pose. I am very pleased to say that Mrs Davidmh seems to have forgiven me, I was allowed in the house last night, albeit only the kitchen. All because of my plan to recycle dogs hair into hair pieces for slap heads (ie me and Max). As some have probably guessed, she hadn't heard the word "virtual" when I explained about the numerous tons of hair that the wonderful DoggySnappers were sending over. Phew. BUT I THINK I MIGHT HAVE A REAL PROBLEM NOW because this morning the postman actually delivered a parcel of dog hair (black and white). OOPS. I think I might be up-that-creek I cannot mention without a paddle. Today the doggies are delivering a paddle to you so I know where one is if I end up up-that-creek I cannot mention and they are also delivering a baked potato with Thai green prawn curry and spinach, because that is what I ate last night and it was yummy. Which also explains why my diet restarts next week! Enjoy x
Hi Mystique and Jade.. How are you both? Mom figured out the problem with uploading the framed pics, she needed to save them as JPG files, not tpx. Levi has been selected as finalist for Cutie of the Month. Would you vote for her please? Votes are taken by P.M. in "IRISH SETTERS RULE" Kennel.
Treats for you both. Call again soon
Love from Luke and Levi xxx

Hi Mystique and Jade, we are back. Wish I could have gone with mum as she said the weather was so much nicer than here - sun every day, hardly any wind and temps just over freezing. Well I had lots of fun staying with my friends but it’s so great to be back with mum again. She got me this super toy, it’s a platypus and I have already managed to pull one of his feet off - he he. Ella was also glad to see mum, she came running straight down the field to us this morning. Better leave mum to get on with all the work that has piled up while she was away - she couldn’t believe it -over 100 e-mails in just 3 working days. Leaving you chicken burgers and chips today.
