Afternoon Poppy. Hope you are well and managing to stay warm. I woke this morning at 6.30 to a blizzard, and it didn't stop snowing until mid-day! It is very bad here, and lots of schools have had to shut. The snow is very deep, and it is freezing cold, but my walks have been great fun. Mum has had me out for two walks today, and we may go out later on, but I may decide my paw is hurting again and not go. Hehe! Afternoon Poppy. Hope you are enjoying your Saturday afternoon. It is a beautiful day here today, but it is very, very cold. Woke this morning to a very thick frost, and it has remained frosty ever since! I am lazing on the sofa, where it is warm and cosy, as I am grounded today and tomorrow. I am not allowed out, as I have done something to my front paw and cannot walk. Mum gave the vet a call and he advised total rest as it may be a strain, but I have to go for a visit if I am no better by Monday. Mum is worried and wondering what I have done, but I am enjoying all the fuss! Whenever I move I am told to lie and rest my paw! Hehe! Humans do worry! Hi Tinky, how are you today? well we're all good here, been for walkies and luckily we didn't get caught in the rain and Jinx was a very good girl and walked all the way round without stopping, so mummys pleased with her progress in the last couple of weeks :) 4 weeks til Christmas, are you excited?? we are, mummy has been excited for months mad woman, Jinx chewed one of mummys expensive jackets the other day, so mummy wasn't best pleased with her, me and Frankie are good boys and would never ,ever do that :) well mummy and daddy are off to Spain on Tuesday, I am going to my aunty eadie and uncle Johns again, and Jinx is staying with granny and Frankie, it's for daddy's 40th, they are going to suprise granny brenda and grandad mike :) todays treat is some of mummys jacket hehhe ;p love Dinky, Jinx and Frankie xxxxxx

Afternoon Poppy. Hope you are well this Saturday afternoon. It is a lovely day here today - sunny but very, very cold! I had a long wander with mum and dad this morning, and I had my coat on. I was so pleased as it kept me lovely and warm. Mum now has a Christmas film on while she visits all my pals, and I am curled up beside her on the sofa! What a life! We are going out again later, so I will be well wrapped up again, then home in time for the Saturday night television!! Take care my friend, and treat today is cauliflower cheese. Hi Poppy, how are you, sorry we havent been around much lately but mum has been really busy starting to get the house sorted for Christmas and our human step sis brought baby Jack down on the weekend, mum said we are good with him as we are gentle but we are looking forward to when he is bigger so he can play with us properly,will see you tomorrow but leaving you cheese on toast for your supper, love Tara and gang xxxxx

Afternoon Poppy. Hope you are well. It's a lovely day here today - dry, sunny and not too cold! Perfect walking weather! I had a lovely wander with mum this afternoon, and she insisted on showing me up! We were walking through the park, which as you know is an absolute mess due to all the work going on, and she slipped and skidded on some wet leaves! The display she did was marvellous, and would have made any ice skater proud. Luckily, she managed to stay upright and didn't land on her behind, but she does embarrass me - all the time! Hehe! We continued on our walk, and I ended up filthy, so had to suffer the indignity of having my paws washed when I got home. I am curled up on the sofa now, and feel a long nap coming on!! Hi Poppy , well it's another wet and miserable day in Manchester. Granny is poorly with another bad migraine, mummy sent her back to bed and is worried about her, she'll go and check on here later, shes leaving her to sleep for abit now. We enjoyed a nice and quiet weekend, the sun was out yesterday but it was still very chilly. Jinx ws abit better on her walkies yesterday, but still quite nervous, poor thing, we had cooked chicken for tea last night, we all waited and watched patiently as mummy demolished the carcus for us yummy, and none of us lifted our heads out of the bowl until it was all gone yummy, we saved some for our doggysnaps friends, so enjoy :) love Dinky, Jinx and Frankie xxxxxx ps. please would you vote for Jinx as LOTM :) xxx

Hiya Poppy, well mummy has put "another" Christmas piccy in our kennels, she's mental lol!! she went out with granny to try and cheer herself up, but she's feeling stressed, but she did buy us a new collar and lead set for Christmas,but we are not allowed them! hrrmmpphhhh :( I had 2 baths last week, one from mummy on Thursday, with Jinx and then Daddy gave me 1 yesterday, because I had pooed in my bumfur lol so he wasked me, and I must say I rather enjoyed it, mummy says I am very lucky having someone on hand to wash my bum for me :) and she's right! well tomorrow it's mummy's birthday, and we know shes getting old so we have bought her some wrinkle cream but shhhhh don't tell her, she will be very maaaaaaddd eeeeek!! leaving you another Santa costume ;p have fun! Hiya here is the final part of Shadows adventure with Lily, Shadow dived to catch Lily before she hit the ground, she caught Lily in her out stretched paws just in time, Lily was laying in Shadows paws motionless. Shadow looked down at Lily and began to cry, her tears splashed over Lily. Then Max exclaimed “Shadow look - Lily is beginning to glow again” shadow looked down and indeed Lily was glowing. Lily said “The healing tears of the chosen one - you have saved me” Shadow asked “Can you fly?” “Yes” replied Lily “I am restored to full health thanks to you” Max quickly whispered something to Lily. Shadow told Lily to fly out of the window so that evil thing couldn’t zap her. So Lily flew out of the castle. Max said “Don’t worry my love - I will take care of the overlord, Max turned around and lifted his tail, but the overlord saw what he was going to do and pointed his crooked staff at Max and a red beam of light shot out and dropped an airtight cage over Max. Shadow heard a noise and looked at the door and thought she saw Lulu peering around it, she looked away and looked again and indeed it was Lulu, Lulu said “It’s ok Shadow Lily has told us everything - we know what to do” Shadow said in surprise “But I never summoned you” Lulu said “It was Max, my gang of weimaraners and my brother Oscar, are here, Lily bought us here two by two she wants us to protect the castle so the ogres don’t come back” Then Lulu looked over at the overlord and said “That looks hideous - rather you than me - I must say I do like this talking lark” Lulu then left and went back to her gang to protect the castle. Then Shadow heard an evil voice say “What are you going to do now chosen one or should I say pathetic one” Shadow was beginning to get angry s he looked at the overlord and all she could see was a big black cape - she could not see a face as there was a hood covering it, but there was a green warty hand holding the staff. Then Shadow said “I demand that you let the king and queen go, and release my husband from that cage and I demand you tell me why you are holding the king and queen” The overlord replied “You demand of me - all I will tell you is I want the king and queens magic to combine it with my own so I can take over Enchantedville and then the universe and no one can stop me not even you” On hearing this Shadow felt a bubbling in her belly and it look like flames flashing in her eyes she pushed her paws forward and shouted - a white beam of light came out of her paws - the overlord lowered his staff and a red beam of light came out of it and met with the white beam, the beams of light were going to and fro. Max was watching all this with interest from his cage and shouted “I hope Shadow has got ever ready batteries - long life ones. The overlord said to Shadow “You can not beat me you are just a dog!” Shadow was really angry now - she shouted again and the white beam of light got much bigger and pushed the red beam back and shattered the overlords staff and the overlord was no more than a black cape laying on the floor. Shadow pointed her paws at the magic ball holding the king and queen and set them free and she shattered the cage holding Max. Max ran over to Shadow - gave her a big cuddle and said “Remind me never to tick you off” Then the room filled with light Lily had brought all the fairies to help Shadow. Lily said “You done it then - you used magic” The king came over and said “Yes she did - it was the most powerful magic I have ever seen” The queen said “There will be a celebration tonight - the chosen one has set us free” She ordered some of the fairies to organise it, Shadow asked Lily to thank Lulu and her gang for their help and to send them back home - so that is what Lily did. The king ordered some fairies to go under Shadow and some to go under Max. Shadow asked “What are they doing?” the king replied “They are flying you back to our village” So the fairies lifted Shadow and Max in the air, as they were flying along Max said to Shadow “This beats first class” Shadow said “Huh” Max repeated “This beats first class - we rather fly fairy class hee hee” When they landed at the village the party began, there was singing, dancing and to Max’s pleasure food and lots of it, Shadow then asked Lily to send Max home so Lily flew up high and before Max disappeared Shadow gave him a kiss goodbye. The king and queen thanked Shadow. Suddenly Shadow heard a voice call her name - she looked around and there was no-one there, then the fairies decided to play a game with Shadow they told her to close her eyes and turn around three times then they would tell her what to do next, so that is what she did, but as she was turning she thought she heard Lily say goodbye Shadow. When Shadow opened her eyes she was back in her bed and her dad was standing over her, she thought - oh it must have been a dream, then she looked at the clock it was 6am she thought oh no, then her dad kneeled down to put on her lead and saw the ring on her collar, he muttered “Where did this come from?” Shadow replied “From a fairy named Lily. Shadow’s dad dropped the lead and stammered y y y y you c c c can t t t talk” then he fainted. Shadow said “It was not a dream then. THE END Todays treat is the food from the party a new story coming next week

Afternoon Poppy. Hope you are having a lovely Saturday. Well, we have yet another cold, wet and windy day here. Mum was moaning this morning, for a change, hehe, and she said when it is sunny, no two days are the same, but when it is wet, cold and windy, we have many days the same! Dad just mumbled something about moaning women! Cheeky man! I had a wander this morning through the building site of a park. They are slowly getting there, and improving things, but it really is a huge muddy mess at the moment. The workmen and park keepers are working very hard, but all the nasty weather does them no favours! I am off out again soon. Mum wants to buy the winning Lottery ticket. Hehe!
