Hi Akita my friend, well I have just got back from my walkies and had a bath. Mummy could'nt believe how grubby I got today. We had soooooo much rain last night, up on the downs was like a, ohhhh what was that word mummy used? Ahhhh Yes "Bog" I kept sinking each step I took, so mummy had to pick me up in the end and she decided to take me to the park in stead. I'm glad we went there because I bumped into quite a few of my poochie pals. They all must have had the same idea to avoid the downs!!!! Well This being Sunday, mummy's doing a roast, so I'm leaving you yorkshire pud and roast beef. Enjoy Licks and cuddles Poppy xxxx

Helloooooo Akita, So good to see you. It's always grrrrrrrrreat to see my poochie pals. I have so many to visit it usualy takes me all weekend to sniff them out. That's about the cheeriest thing happening around here, visiting my four legged friends, apart from mummy trying to cheer me up chasing me around the house to keep me occupied.. Well you guessed it, the weather is still awful and mummy managed to take me for walkies this morning, just in time before the heavens opened. I really am fed up with all this rain. I sharnt be going to the beach now, pesky weather! I think I shall leave you a set of my wellies, you will probably need them. lots of woofs, wags and wet nose kisses Poppy xxxxx

Hi Akita, lovely to meet you. Hope you've had a good day, weather's been quite nice today (for a change), me and Ben have been out in the fields, saw our friend Lily (my girlfriend) so we had a run about in the mud (we love getting muddy). Not much been happening otherwise just sleeping and eating (favourite pastimes) so will leave some roast beef with all the trimmings tonight love Kolo & Ben xxx

Hi akita, ...oh dear, the weather hasn't been too good here recently which means that our woodland tracks are either under water or knee deep in mud. "Heaven" thinks Sarika, The Laydee of Lurve, "Heaven" thinks the Purdey Poomonster........"Nothing" thinks Doberdog because he is asleep......their Human Slave (ME) on the other hand has other words (including some ending in ing) for things! Because of "Hairy Gundog Disease" (if there is mud we must get covered in it) walks take an hour, cleaning takes two hours - one hour for the dogs and then, later, one hour clearing up in the house where the bits I missed previously have now dropped off. And I won't even tell you about the condition of my Wellington boots! What I need is a "dogwash" like a carwash, a shower room for the doggies on the outside of the house which I could put them straight in and hopefully it might have a turbodryer too so that they could quickly become clean, dry and fragrant too and it would have to have a special cleaning compartment for my Wellington boots (which I won't even tell you about)...perhaps I should ring my builder and my architect and the council for planning permission....perhaps....perhaps....perhaps..... Today's treat from the aforementioned girls and doberdog is an entry pass to our luxury dogwash for when/if it gets built. PS DDDD37 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 37), 11lb gone now, bit disappointed but slow but sure progress I suppose. PS2 Did I mention my Wellington boots? PS3 I think it might be time for my medication. x
