Hi Honey, today a tip for the humans. If you decide to ponce yourself up a bit with a quick squirt of Armani Code (men’s version, he added quickly!!!)....well you never know who you might meet on a “walkies”, it could be one of those SIMPLY GORGEOUS LADIES FROM DOGGYSNAPS.....anyway, to continue....make sure that the NOZZLE is not pointing at your eye. Because BLOODY HELL, ARMANI CODE STINGS!!!! (Note to self....must wear glasses when applying aftershave). TYPICALLY the girlie gundogs and dobes, who are all fine, were no support to their aged human slave in his time of need but were seen sniggering behind their paws at his pain and, in particular, his use of the English language! So it is love to you lot from them and the currently partly blind but actually now also very fragrant me. X
Hi Honey , well it's another wet and miserable day in Manchester. Granny is poorly with another bad migraine, mummy sent her back to bed and is worried about her, she'll go and check on here later, shes leaving her to sleep for abit now. We enjoyed a nice and quiet weekend, the sun was out yesterday but it was still very chilly. Jinx ws abit better on her walkies yesterday, but still quite nervous, poor thing, we had cooked chicken for tea last night, we all waited and watched patiently as mummy demolished the carcus for us yummy, and none of us lifted our heads out of the bowl until it was all gone yummy, we saved some for our doggysnaps friends, so enjoy :) love Dinky, Jinx and Frankie xxxxxx
ps. please would you vote for Jinx as LOTM :) xxx
Hi Honey, I thought I should let you know that Sarika, Purdey and I (dobes is directing operations from his bedroom) are now collecting wood. We have seven twigs so far, which isn’t as many as I expected but it is not my fault that the girlie gundogs got distracted by some slugs. WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT? Well, we have had a great deal of rain here and as, apparently, we have a wet winter coming it seems a good time to get going on the HDS (His David’s Ship) WOOF...... AND TO BRING NEW DOGGIES UP TO SPEED........this is the doggies only BARK we are building so all doggies can cope with any flooding (I was going to call it an ARK but then thought “No er, someone has already done that”). Anyway, a virtual ticket for our maiden voyage is enclosed; however, following the twig collecting, the date of the voyage is as yet uncertain x
Hi Honey, NEWS FLASH....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH..... ANOTHER SHOCK HORROR AWE FILLED SENSATION. People of Berkshire in the United of Kingdoms have been stunned by the incredible news from the davidmh kennel. Her Princessliness Sarika ....... a member of The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Royal Household, she of the ”butter wouldn’t melt” expression, she of the human eyes and the perfumed botty burps, the Laydee of the Month of Lurve, also known as Her Gorgeousness and, by Purdey, as Miss Goody Twoshoes............ has disgraced herself. On a walk this morning she did a Purdey, SHE ROLLED IN SOMETHING UNMENTIONABLE AND VERY SMELLY. Her human slave (now on tranquillisers) and the incorrigible one, the Poomonster, looked on in complete bewilderment. The sleeping dobes has yet to express an opinion. TV news crews from the Doggy Channel are on site and the Ambulance Service are administering to many stunned passers-by. What next?!!!! Will Sarika become the Poomonster? Will Purdey give up her title willingly? Will Max wake up? A bottle of pop and a fillet steak for you while we are waiting for answers to these fundamental questions. x
Hi Honey, I think Maxwell has turned into a fish as we have now “enjoyed” a veritable shoal of fish farts. I am not actually sure that “enjoyed” is the right word there! However I cannot find any fins on him so I asked the local “she who knows absolutely everything about dogs” and she said I had to squeeze some glands in his nether regions. “SQUEEZE......”GLANDS”..... .”MAX’S NETHER REGIONS”.......”ME”. I don’t think so, that’s the sort of thing you PAY someone else to do.......Mrs Davidmh, have you got any cash, would you like some? It has also been all quiet here as far as Purdey is concerned, no rolling in, no treading in nor scoffing of unmentionables. Which is TROUBLING because I said that pigs would fly before that happened. I now go outside with considerable trepidation...it is ok being hit by a bird poo from 100 feet but PIG POO!! Goodnight Vienna methinks. Her Princessliness remains just that so today she is sending over some cash (should you have Max’s problem) and a golfing umbrella for your slave, just in case pigs do fly! X PS the one good thing about fish farts (what AM I writing!!!!) is that I have discovered that my reflexes still work, you would not believe how quickly I got out of the sitting room yesterday!!!
Hi Honey, what a lovely weekend, perhaps THAT was our long awaited summer? We walked up the Thames a couple of times and much fun was had by all....well, except perhaps for the duck which Purdey chased.....or the tennis ball which Sarika managed to sink.... it is a tough life being a tennis ball round here! The weekend’s big news was that Sarika and Purdey found a new friend who we are calling Tommy (pic in kennel if you can get there!). Max hasn’t met Tommy (who might even be a prince, who knows) because dobes opted for sleep rather than exercise. Because of Tommy the girlies are sending over a HALL.....Purdey wanted to send mouthwash too but that is her problem, serves her right for picking up Tommy with her mouth......all will become obvious, hopefully. Have fun x
Hi Honey how are you today? the dogs are feeling very happy today as they have been invited to a party next month by Labrador Rescue where Jack and Bally both came from, hope they behave. Spinach pie today xxx
Hi Honey, how are you? SHOCK HORROR SENSATIONAL NEWS........ the doggies are all very well but one of them (GUESS WHO?) is in David’s bad books. Did I ever tell you that Purdey can do the “backstroke”...seemingly for a laugh she will travel around in the house on her back, pushing herself along with her hind legs. She really is a clown. Anyway, after being NAMED and SHAMED I thought that she would turn over a new leaf on the poo subject. Well she sort of did......turn over a new leaf........she actually rolled on a leaf yesterday..........unfortunately the leaf was underneath a pile of very fresh deer poo. My heart sank when, having rolled, she then decided to do the “backstroke” on the poo too. And then this person came along and said...”she is covered in it” (I think that was the word).....”thank you” said I. GRRRRRRRRRRR. She has now decided to be a guard dog although her kennel picture is causing me some concern on that subject too. Anyway, today we are sending over a royal wave from the princess, sweet dreams from dobes and, you guessed it, a leaf from Purdey. Have fun x. PS I would handle the leaf with care!
Hi, mum says I smell of wet dog, well what does she think I'll smell of I've just been for a walk in the rain, does she think I'll smell of flowers or something hee hee, well the baby rabbits are still ok, they eat all the food mum put out yesterday so me & mum put out some more, we are not doing much today as its so wet, dads popping out for a little while (going to the bank) then hes coming back home to play, there is 1 good thing about this rain dad & mum have been at home & I get dad all day, well going to check on my babies again, leaving you a full english breakfast, Laddy

Hi Honey, how are you today, not done much today just keep playing in & out of the garden, can't wait til next week as my dad is off all week, he said if the weather is good we are going away for a few days, then when we come back we are getting the baby rabbit, plenty of rabbit poo to roll in hee hee, mum wasn't to happy with me yesterday as I found a very muddy puddle in the garden, so I played in it & got covered in lots of mud then ran in the house, all those muddy paw prints all over the kitchen & dining room floor hee hee, I also jumped up on the window ledge & my stair gates & covered them in mud, mum was rotten as she wouldn't let me in the front room to play until I dried off, leaving you fish fingers, Laddy
hi sweetie well this weather is getting me mom down the washing is in and out like l dont know what and it happened again this morning the line broke hehe !!!! dad`s in for a telling off tonight cause he didnt put the new line up properly thats what mom said anyway poor old dad. well l havnt been to well with my arthritis it has slowed me down a lot but l will soon be back on form mom rang the vet about my medication but l didnt have to go to see her thank goodness.maybe next week if l dont pick up eekkk!!!!!!!. well love to all from bonny and aunty linda xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Helloooooo Honey my dear friend. I'm soooo sorry for the overdue visit, but I have sooooo many friends to see it takes me such a long time to sniff them all out. I have missed you. Well the weather has stayed dry up till now, but it does look dodgey. Mummy has hung her washing out, but I think she will be bringing it back in shortly. This horrid rain is driving me barking. We would normally be down at the seaside having loads of fun with my beach ball and frisbee, but in stead I'm stuck in doors. Well the only consolation is I get to visit all my poochie pals with mummy's help. I'm leaving you a woofalicious toffee apple. Wags, and wet nose kisses Poppy xxxxxxx
To my dear friend we had a lovely time in blackpool friday was lovely but saturday the heavens opened it rained and it rained, but sunday was lovely we went to the s.t.e.c.s. garden party 2008 at preston. (that is the scottish terrier emergency care scheme`s) garden party that is held each year.My mom and dad have become representatives for the scheme that means that from time to time we will be rescuing scotty dogs who are being ill treated or homeless and making them better before they go on to new homes so l guess i will be having friends come to stay from time to time l have promised to share and be good till they are better and have found a mom and dad to love them xx We had a lovely weekend but mom was crying when they did the scotty rescue parade because one poor scotty dog had been rescued from breeding kennels she could only walk on her elbows because she had lived her life restricted in a breeding cage but the stecs organization heard about her plight and took her in and you should see her now she is better. mom and dad wanted to give her a home but we think she is spoken for. anyway must go love from bonny and her mom xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi sweetheart, I had fun today as mum took me for an early walk & I saw another choc lab, we had fun running about while my mum & Fudge's dad had a talk, I hope I meet him again he was fun to play with, leaving you cheese on toast, Laddy
